It's uncertain whether it was because the crabs couldn't match the mermaids' speed underwater, or perhaps the mermaids became more ferocious in the water than they were on land, but after the mermaids retreated, the Samurai Crabs did not pursue them into the sea.
The little crab maiden could only use her giant Conch Hammer to repeatedly smash the surface of the shallow beach, furiously but impotently.
After venting for a while, she finally remembered her lifesaver and scuttled back, dragging her hammer.
"You helped us drive away those bad things and even saved me; you're a great person!"
Kanihime, in her bright red crab armor paired with a white Feather Weave and with a crab shell-shaped Star Helmet on her head, only revealed a small, delicate, and fair face, with some soft yellow locks hanging beside her temples, making her look like a little can that could move.
But there's no denying she did carry a bit of the majestic aura of a grand ocean general.
