Everything in our lives begin in the years of our childhood. From learning how to walk, and run, observing the surroundings and the behaviours of the people around us. It's not a stretch to say that literally everything begins in our childhood.
My childhood was nothing special, I was born in a poor family of three. Although we were poor, my father and mother still found ways to earn living credits. It's funny, because my mom and dad was struggling financially, but to me this was the happiest I've ever been.
Yes, that's right you heard me! Happiest! and there's no way of changing my mind.
ANYWAYS! I'll start by narrating the very beginning of my life, obviously I won't narrate the part where I was still a baby.
BEGIN!

Darlton city, the home capital of the Philippines and one of the least advanced city in the world. There's a reason why it's one of the least advanced city in the world, and that's because of the rampant corruption amongst the leaders of the country.
The leaders of the country holds a significant influence in the congregation of villains because of the rank 3 villain named Vitol. He's a villain sure, but many still consider him a patriot due to his immense loyalty to the government.
There was a lot that happened during the time when I was only ten years old, and one of the major events that happened was the war between the congregation of villains and the heroic collective. It was a war to achieve absolute unity, villains wanted absolute control and obedience from the masses while the heroes wanted to oppose them, believing in free will and it would be suicidal to let them get what they want.
The battle went on and the villains were getting pushed back swiftly, and they decided it was time to hide and retreat, and what better way is there but retreat on an island country where they can't be attacked without the heroes preparing to have massive losses. The villains chose to concentrate and gather all of their forces in the Philippines, since the rank 3 villain Vitol already holds great influence within the country. Villains chose to attack ruthlessly, not fearing any retaliation from the local heroes of the country, not even a week has passed by and they conquered the country with minimal losses on the congregation of villains side. The same cannot be said on the heroes side of the country, they were completely wiped out and their families were not spared either.
The villains made the Island country their own, while the heroic collective decided to avoid any conflict with the congregation of villains since launching an all out attack on that location will practically be throwing lives at the meat grinder, and they couldn't afford to have massive losses, doing so will weaken them and the other countries will be left unchecked just like the Philippines and the same thing will just repeat all over again.
While all of those mundane events happened, yeah that's right, MUNDANE.
I was living my best life in Canada, enjoying the delicious dishes my mother prepared for me before I went to school.
Standing up from my chair and heading to my mother to kiss her on her cheeks, I said "bye mom, the school bus is here."
"okay, take care little Justine." she turned to kiss me back on my cheek in a playful manner, then led me to the door.
Little did I know, that would be the last time I'll ever see my mother. I should've spent more time with her instead of just taking everything for granted, maybe I was spoiled? heh, spoiled.... no, I've never been spoiled, we were already a struggling household barely scraping by. I'm spoiled when it comes to the philosophy and moral lessons that my father would often preach to me and my mothers' nagging, but besides that, there's nothing.
Everything I remember back in that day was way too vague, as if I wanted to forget it subconsciously. But deep in my heart, I knew I wouldn't dare forget of the injustice my parents faced. The reason for their death was apparently because of drugs, they willingly used the drugs that a villain concocted to forcefully awaken themselves and gain powers. The authorities found out and alas, it was too late, they've already ingested the drugs, but instead of being able to control their newly gained powers. The situation escalated and everything went wrong with their powers, destroying everything in their way until it eventually corroded their minds.
That's what the authorities told me at the very least. When I went home from school, I panicked. Our house was destroyed, as if a storm just ravaged the whole thing. Burning woods and grass on the ground along with the shattered pieces of glass, I quickly rushed towards the ruined house.
As I was running towards the house, a hand grabbed my arm and halted me.
