Chapter 18 - Presentations

Aella stood in front of the class, scanning everyone's faces, trying to remember them. Then she saw Amari smiling as she pointed to an empty chair next to her.

Aella did not pay attention to her; her mind was focused on something else at the moment.

She wanted to ask for everyone's name, but she didn't know how to proceed. Aella wasn't a very social person, let alone friendly.

She'd spent her whole childhood talking only to mythical, magical beasts and demons in the forests and mountains, so she didn't know how to talk to normal people.

Growing up, Otiz told her

"Aella, when you meet someone for the first time and they want to be your friend or you want to be their friend, introduce yourself like this, it always worked for me".

With a twisted grin and an arrogant look on his face, he said, "You are all going to introduce yourself to me!

"What are you called, huh?"

"I'm Otiz. What do you bastards call yourselves?"

Aella looked at Otiz in awe: "You look just like those bandits, Otiz".

That's how Otiz showed her, but after a while the same Otiz scratched his jaw and said:

"That's how I always introduce myself to people, but for some reason, when they look at me, they always tremble with fear. And they always try to avoid me when they see me. .... Weird"

It was then that her uncle approached and smacked him, saying: "What are you teaching little Aella, you good-for-nothing, no matter how you look at it, you threatened those people, how can that be called a friendly introduction, you idiot".

Remembering these moments, Aella realized that she needed to review everything Otiz had taught her.

Her eyes were on each member of the class as she considered how she should approach these students so that they would introduce themselves to her.

Some of the students felt a little intimidated by the fact that they were being watched so intently. But Aella was confused - she was supposed to be the new girl here, not them, so why were they the ones who were feeling shy and scared?

In the end, Aella gave up and walked over to where Amari was sitting and sat down next to her.

She planned to sleep a little on her desk, but before she could lay her head down, she felt some presence. When she looked up, she saw pairs of eyes staring at her.

"Hello Aella, my name is Nara."

"Mine is Sara."

The twins introduced themselves to Aella first.

"I'm Kathlyn, nice to meet you," she said softly with a small smile.

Kathlyn is a beautiful, brown-skinned girl with blue eyes. She has long black hair, the tips were of a purple color.

They were the three girls involved in the class nine incident. But Aella still couldn't understand why Kathleen did nothing during the conflict with Class Nine. Aella could feel her energy. It was not a powerful energy like those whose powers had already awakened, but it was a martial arts energy. And she knew that Kathleen would have been able to handle the situation against the Class Nine in some way. Maybe she couldn't fight all of them at once, but Aella would say that Kathleen is on par with the muscle guy and could even defeated him, despite not having awakened her power yet or train properly. Moreover, she thinks that the reason why those Class Nine guys didn't attack right away before she walked in was probably because they were on their guard since Kathleen was there.

"Hi, my name is Yui," Aella heard a timid voice say. Bringing her back to reality

Yui had long blonde hair tied up in twin tails, she is a lovely looking girl with a pretty, delicate face.

"I'm Amari. We met at the school entrance, remember?"

Aella didn't answer, still surprised to see that she didn't have to go out of her way to find out their names.

To be honest, the reason she wanted to get to know each of the F-class students was because she had already decided to train them personally... But she wouldn't be the one to reach out to them, they would have to come to her themselves... if they wanted to become stronger.

Aella had specifically chosen Class F group as her future comrades.

[Little did Aella know that this F-class group was going to be the most powerful and most notorious beings in the world. And that they would become her most important and loyal friends/companions].

"Thanks for helping us this morning, you can call me Junior."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah! man if it weren't for you, who knows, we'd be in hospital right now, by the way, my name is Adam."

"And I'm Aisha."

Aisha was a tall girl with beautiful features, a fair-skinned. She had long, straight, blue-colored hair that fell down over her shoulders.

"I am Nian." A beautiful, brown-skinned boy with shoulder-length black hair introduced himself.

Nian was one of the tallest students in the class, along with Aella, Aisha, Yun, Junior, Adam and Kye.

"My name is Francois," said a very light-skinned boy with blond hair and a friendly smile on his face. Francois had that handsome gentleman's air.

"I'm Shian," said another handsome fair-skinned boy, with curly brown hair and freckles on his cheek and top of his nose.

"Kye," another good-looking boy said, his voice was cold and serious.

"And I... am the great, amazing, incredible and awesome Yun," said a cheerful, cute-looking boy, smiling broadly as he looked at Aella.

In short, there were thirteen students in class F, six of them girls:

Sara, Nara, Kathlyn, Amari, Yui and Aisha.

And seven boys:

Junior, Adam, Nian, François, Shion, Yun and Kye.

Including Aella, there are currently fourteen students in class F.

"A pleasure," Aella replied.

At the sight of Aella's confused face, everyone except Kye and Nian had a smile on their faces.

Aella was obviously someone who had few friends. She didn't know how to respond to everyone's positive energy.

But they all took the time to talk to her and introduce themselves. Aella started to have good impression of everyone in the class.

...

Three days had passed since Aella had arrived at Oasis. But within those three days she had realized something.

"What exactly do you guys do?" she asked the students lying, sleeping and eating lazily in the class.

"What do you mean?" Amari, sitting beside her, looked at her and asked

"No matter how I look at it, you guys really are a neglected group of students, what about training?" Aella asked vaguely.

Don't they at least give y'all a martial arts book or some training equipment?

Amari lowered her head in shame, "No.

Even though she was talking to Amari, the whole class had overheard her question. Junior and Adam approached her, looking gloomy.

"um... That's because we can't," Junior answered.

"Can't what?"

"Train.....We are not allowed to use the sparring equipment, the training ground or even to have any instructors other than Prof Tony. At first we had two Tutors along with Professor Tony to train us, but when they saw that we failed to make progress, they got frustrated and left. Professor Tony was the only one who stayed with us.

"Ooh!" Aella said as she leaned back in her chair.

Stop talking about that already. By the way, how about we give our new classmate a welcome party tonight? Aisha suggested.

"After three days?" Kye said, because he thought it was ridiculous and a waste of time.

Aella's eyes lit up at the mention of a party. According to her dictionary, where there is a party, there will be food.

At the sight of Aella's bright and excited eyes, the guys ignored Kye. "Then you don't need to eat Kye"

"Yeah, yeah go cry us a river in your room without eating"

"Ugh" he sighed at their merciless remark

Amari sat down on the classroom desk and said: "I think it's a good idea.

"... but after further consideration she said, "But there's nothing in the fridge, it's empty. Where are we going to find the ingredients to cook? You know we only eat twice a day in this school, we'll have to go to a supermarket in Sion city.

"They don't even provide y'all good food? Waa, you guys are really miserable" Aella dissed

"D-do you really have to say those merciless words" everyone grimaced at Aella remark

I'll take care of it,' Aella said to Amari as she took out her phone and sent a text message to Khaled. Amari looked at her confused.

'Just make a list of the ingredients and give it to me. And don't ask any question". They all closed their mouth at Aella words. They were so curious about her, but they couldn't ask anything.

After a while, Aella got up, " I'm going for a walk". she said as she left the classroom.
