While Aella was resting on the roof of the building, the other students were in the surveillance room.
"Shut up and watch the video," Kye said as he reached over to the computer and pressed the play button on the video.
In the video, they saw Junior, Adam, Sara, Nara and Kathlyn arguing with the boys from year nine. Then they saw Jean and her minions pointing their fingers at Sara, Nara and Kathlyn with ugly expressions, it looked like they were swearing at them.
Even though there was no sound in the video, you didn't have to be very intelligent to figure out what was going on in it. It was obvious they were accusing Junior, Adam and the girls.
Amari thought she was the only one in the school being bullied by her classmate from the Neon class, but watching this video, the F class had it harder than her, she didn't think those students would come here just to bully everyone, she was furious "Dumbasses!".
Kye was a very rational and calm person, so when he saw Nine's anger being directed more towards Sara, Nara and Kathlyn, he studied the girls' expressions with suspicion.
"Have you been taking stuff from the other classes again?"
"!!!"
Startled and embarrassed to have been caught. They ignored Kye's question and questioning look and looked away.
But Kye continued to scold them, asking why they were stealing other classes items again.
They stared at him, "Can't you just keep your mouth shut?"
"Why are you asking this now?"
"We have no idea what the hell you're talking about." They replied.
Yun, who was standing next to Kye and the girls, growled in annoyance. They were talking non-stop and distracting him from focusing on the video, he looked at them in irritation.
"Damn it, I can't concentrate on the video because you guys are talking so much".
"Then just ignore us," Kye looked at him strangely.
"No, because I also want to know what you guys are talking about... so let's have a look at the video first, then after, you guys go".
"....." They stared in disbelief.
"Gossipy," Katheryn blurted out as she rolled her eyes.
Yun simply ignored them and focused on the video instead.
Following Yun's example, all of them turned their attention back to the video.
Then they saw Jean running towards Junior, Sara and the others with a raised fist. His intention was to attack the guys, but as he ran towards them, they saw Aella's figure appear on the screen like a flash, standing behind Junior, Sara and the others.
They were taken aback by what happened next.
"S-so... fast," Yui exclaimed with her mouth wide open.
Kye and Nian were so shocked that they didn't know how to react. At first, they thought that Aella was just another useless student that would be ridiculed and bullied by everyone like them, but now....
They all thought that Junior was really lying, but now that they had the evidence in front of them, what else could they say.
It was a revelation they hadn't expected.
No matter how they looked at it, Aella seemed to be a lot more powerful than she appeared to be. They played the video over and over again. They could feel her aura throughout the screen, even though she didn't release any, which could only explain the strong nature of her strength.
"A being that so strong that even though she did not release her aura, you could still feel it and tremble with fear". Nian rubbed his jaw "That tells you a lot about what kind of person she is".
"Also, during the whole fight. She didn't make any exaggerated movements" Kye shared
'Wh-what is this?' they asked in still in shock.
"With just a....flick," Shion couldn't believe it.
"She was so calm when she was beating up on Jean and his lackey?"
"Was that even considered a fight?"
They all stared at Junior in disbelief
"Why would someone like her choose to join us when she could have easily joined the SS?" Yun asked as he looked at the others in confusion.
"....."
"That's what we all want to know, why our class?" François crossed his arms
Kathlyn's clear voice echoed in the solemn silence, "I don't know about you guys, but ever since we met Aella, she's given off that indifferent feeling of someone who doesn't care about the status of others, rather she seems the type to do everything her way".
"So, I don't think she care at all about the other classes"
"I don't know about you, but that's the feeling I had when I first met her," she continued.
"I feel the same way," the shy Yui approached. "Before Aella came here, I was afraid that the other students would still come here to pick fights with us and bully us like they always did. But for a while now," a small smile appeared on her face, "none of them have come here.
"I used to have nightmares because of them." Yui looked at everyone and continued. "You know that day," she bit her lower lip as a tear ran down Yui's cheek, "when the other classes gathered together and set fire to our building while we were still inside. "We were terrified and who knows what would have happened had the teacher and Mr esen not been nearby.
She remembered vividly how desperate they were. Shion and Sara were already unconscious, and Kye's back was badly injured as he tried to help Junior and Nara. Francois, Yun and Asha had inhaled so much smoke that they spent a month or two in hospital.
"Yui," Kye's cold voice made her jump. Remember? We promised not to talk about this until the day of our revenge," he said firmly.
Yui looked around her and saw the faces of all of them and she quickly closed her mouth. "S-sorry everyone". The others looked pained and filled with hatred as they all remembered that day.
"They will pay for this. I Swear," they frowned in hate and anger at Kye's words.
Amari was horrified, she knew nothing about such incident. It was only now that she remembered that for a whole month, everyone in the Neon class had been looking scared. They were always on their guard, as if they had done something shady. They would flinch every time she and Aspen asked them what was wrong with them. and she just brushed it off as them ignoring her again. "So, it was about this".
"I'm sorry..." she stammered as she tried to speak. "I didn't know anything about this," she thought.
"Why? Why do they have to go to so much trouble to ruin everyone in Class F? Her eyes were full of sadness. "What do they gain by doing all these awful things?"
Kathleen looked at Kye, Yui, Junior and Nian. She knew that the four of them were the ones who had had the hardest time in the fire.
"There was a bet." Nian blurted out, disgusted.
Kye closed his eyes quietly for a minute and then opened them.
He sighed.
He really didn't want to talk about it, but since Amari asked and everyone started talking, he said.
"There was a bet between Class Nine, Neon, Phoenix and Class A."
"The bet was on which class could make Class F disappear from the school the fastest", Kye's voice was cold.
Adam pulled out a chair and sat down.
"As you know, in everyone eyes, we are useless. Their teachers have been discussing with the Dean to remove Class F from Oasis...". Adam leaned back in his chair.
"These words reached the ears of all the students, so they began to see us as objects of ridicule and entertainment. They would throw stones and objects at us and beat us to a pulp if we walk past their classes".
Amari's expression broke. She stared at Kye in disbelief, then at Adam, Yui, Yun, Francois, Sara, Nara, Kathleen, Nian, Shion, Junior and Aisha, all of them had their faces dropped with hatred.
"They made sure that I wasn't here that day. But they didn't expect Kye and Nian to still be inside the building. So, they ran away scared," Kathleen explained.
"Well, even if the three of us had been together, there's nothing we could have done. Just be glad you didn't have to experience that." Nian told Kathleen.
"Mm"
"But what if something happened to y'all? They have everything while you guys have nothing, so why are they still bothering y'all? What if you guys had died in that fire? And that damned Dean didn't say anything?" she cried, frustrated, "Is he here as a decoration? This is not fair!" tears streamed down her beautiful face.
She had so many questions. It was ridiculous what these people had done, and they hadn't even paid for it.
"We asked the same question... and what they said was that even if we were dead and gone, no one in Oasis would care," Nian said blankly. Adam looked at Amari and spoke up.
"Even if the Dean knew, he wouldn't do anything... so they threatened us, using their teachers, and said it would be best if we kept quiet," he said.
Amari stared at them with her eyes wide open, but then she heard Yui say the following
But ever since Aella came here, I haven't been afraid and didn't have any nightmare. Besides, the other classes don't come to our building anymore for some reason.
