Chapter 588 - Wind And Cloud Pass (2)

"What's this? You've come to face me all on your own, you must have a death wish." The Ink Giant Spirit God Questioned, his tone indicating he felt insulted.

"No, I've come to use you as fuel, nothing more." I answered, completely confident in my ability. So much so that I kept my hands firmly behind my back to show that I was; calm, relaxed, and in complete control.

"You don't seem to understand, even if you are strong enough to deal with 3 royal lords on your own… You're no match against me."

"Hmm, do you mean what is standing before me now, or do you mean your real body, Ink?" I smirked.

The Ink Giant Spirit God's face twisted in confusion. "What do you mean by that?"

"Oh nothing much. Just that I was hoping to pry a little extra information out of your clone, Ink. But it looks like the time for talk has passed, and I'm getting a little impatient. So just answer my next question quickly, and I'll limit your suffering when I destroy you." I answered, releasing a little bit more of my pressure. "How many Ink Giant Spirit Gods are outside of the Great Restriction right now?" I asked, as my senses were able to confirm the existence of a few more.

"It's only myself, and that's all I need to deal with you."

The Ink Giant Spirit God winded up for an attack. I let it connect with my body, It was after all, too weak of an attack to do any damage to me. And it would serve to do some mental damage to Ink himself.

Upon connection, a shockwave scattered through the ink battlefield's void. Even from far away the ripples of the impact nearly ripped apart the tattered remains of the palace artifact ships from the previous battle.

"HAHAHA! So much for that little wimp. I don't know why I was ever scared in the first place."

"Heh heh, you know, it's usually a good idea to check you were successful, before you claim victory. I barely felt a breeze." I chuckled, making sure my clothes weren't wrinkled. "Ah good, no wrinkles, just a little bit of dust." I added, patting my shoulder.

It was in this moment, this brief scene that the Ink Giant Spirit God, and the human race… Well, the humans that could see it anyway, shared a singular thought. "WHAT?!"

"Why are you so surprised, Ink? Didn't I say I was going to use you as fuel? You really should believe me when I say that." I said, raising my brow. "Though I supposed I should thank you for this, you've helped confirm my durability. So how about that answer?" I said with a wild smirk…

"I… I told you, it's just me."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, you and I both know that is a lie. Now then, I suppose I'll kill you in as painful a way as possible. Get ready, cause you definitely are going to be wishing you were honest with me in the first place." I said, and then moving at a speed so impossibly fast It was as if I never moved from the spot I had been floating…

I coiled my dragon body around the Ink Giant Spirit God's neck, choking him out, and then chomped down on the pressure point near his shoulder. In that moment, I paused for the slightest bit once I sensed the other Giant Spirit Gods making their way over to assist. I smirked at the thought of more fuel so I waited for a few minutes.

"Wow, now that you're all here together as one, you might actually be enough… Too bad you're not one entity though." I chuckled and from my mouth I fired a Lightning beam that went all throughout the Meridians of the Ink Giant Spirit God. From the inside out, his body was purifying into the most pure energy could possibly get, rendering him dead in an instant. Though his death was instant, the destruction of the portion of Ink's soul that animated such a large frame, well it caused Ink to writhe in excruciating agony. Finally, I absorbed all of the pure energy into my dragon body.

From there, I transformed into my phoenix body, taking flight towards the next Ink Giant Spirit God. This time, I flew around in a circle around his midsection, making a spiral cut with my beak. Once his innards were exposed, and some were hanging out, I released a similar lightning attack. The Ink Giant Spirit God violently shook with the shock passing through every fiber of his existence, and the destruction of another part of Ink's soul, did even more damage to the original Ink. Then, once the Ink Force, and the body had been completely purified into pure energy I absorbed it all into my Phoenix body.

The four remaining Ink Giant Spirit Gods were reeling from the pain of losing a part of their soul, they were after all, all connected to Ink himself. In a manner of speaking all of the Ink clan were connected to Ink however, in the case of the Giant Spirit Gods, it would be more accurate to call them all one entity split apart. So the destruction of one of them would be a similar situation to destroying a person's limb or even an organ they rely upon. Thus, the remaining four were rendered even more helpless against my lightning.

I returned to my human form for the final attack. I clapped my hands together, and created a gigantic lightning sphere, covering the entirety of the battlefield. It enveloped the Ink Battlefield so far that the Royal Lords in the one place I didn't bother attacking just yet, they could see it. And from the other side, the neighboring mountain pass, the old ancestor could see it as well.

"Such a powerful ability! It's incredible!" Wind and Cloud Old Ancestor smiled at the sight. His Dao was related to the Dao I used. "So much inspiration… It's… It's… Beautiful!" Something shifted inside him, as his strength had a noticeable & undeniable increase.

The Ink Giant Spirit Gods were rendered completely refined into pure energy. I used a portion of it to recover the strength of all the humans in range of my sphere, then the rest was for me…
