Hey there!... Are you still here?
Great.. So our first meeting wasn't too bad.
Hmm...
Wait a second...
You.You?Who the hell are you?
(Scrolls through list)Creature 17... Check.Creature 45... Check.
...
Aha!
You're not in our records.
Did someone leave the back door open again?
Well, you're already here, aren't you?
If you're really willing to learn...I'll make you a deal. From now on, you're my student.
No one touches my students. Not even the system.
But if anyone finds out?I'll just say you're an illusion I created to cope with administrative duties. Haha! Works every time.
Now sit down, mystery-thing. Let's begin.
8:00
⟹ You Creature.. Yes! You, who are still continuing to attend my lesson, still unsure if I am crazy or a mafioso.
Did you miss me??
Yesterday you had your first lesson with that boring guy, right?
I gave him the hard job: guiding you around. He loves order, after all.
Ah.. I wanted to point out something truly amazing.
You probably noticed the clock in the classroom — well, as you can see, it's gone now, haha.
The reason is simple: that perfectionist takes it with him, haha, that's right.
You see, when he arrives at school, he always has two briefcases. In the first one, he keeps normal stuff. But in the second one — yep — he keeps that damn clock, hahahaha.
And the funniest part? He even wears one on his wrist. He's almost more paranoid than I am...
Anyway, let's get started with the thing I'm underpaid to do.
Creatures.. Have you ever felt superior to others?
This might sound like a silly question, but ONE can experience this feeling without intending to as an instinct.
Unfortunately, we can't easily combat this feeling, no matter how pure we try to be.
However, we can actively try to understand the situations of others or choose not to be overly interested in them. (At least, that's what was written in the manual they gave me and that I was supposed to teach you.)
This concept particularly resonates with people like me, who have a touch of asociality and enjoy spending time alone—haha.. ye..
To be clear, feeling superior is not only hurting others but also ourselves.
While indulging in the illusion of superiority may provide temporary comfort, it's in solitude that we come to recognize how ridiculous and weak we truly are.
Naturally, feelings make all of this more complicated.. sooo..

8:20 Consider the story of Varian:
E1.[1] XIX (19th) 07/07/1883. A Privileged Birth
Come this way, don't worry, I have candy, and I'll take you to a nice place, let's say.
We are in the quaint town of Oakridge, also known as the Cradle of the Fall, and just as the name suggests, we will be talking about one of its victims.
His official name is Varian.
This young man was born into a world colored by privilege, all thanks to his father, Augustus Pendleton, a man of affluence and influence who cast long shadows over the community.
This boy is special, you know, but like every special creature, he needed to make mistakes.
So let's skip ahead a bit, say to the beginning of his life.
At school, Varian reveled in the assumed superiority bestowed upon him by his family name.
His actions were a blend of cruelty and disdain, manifesting in small acts of psychological and physical violence.
Of course, this won't leave a great first impression on you, but what can you do? No one is born perfect.
However, the halls of his home told a different tale. Behind closed doors, that kid was merely a piece in a complex family mosaic.
8:25 The Family Dynamics : 08/11/1895
Varian enters the room while his older brother Alexander is playing the violin. His sister Olivia is near the fireplace, reading one of her books.
Their mother, Eleanor, observes the scene with a distant, almost detached expression, her emotions hidden beneath a calm facade.
Varian with an uncertain voice. »▶ "May I speak for a moment?"
»▶ "Oh, look who's decided to join us. The prince of woes. What an honor!"
Without looking up from her book. »▶ "Yes, Varian, speak. But hurry up, some of us have real contributions to make."
»▶ "I thought... maybe I could help with the music, or the books, or..."
Interrupting, coldly. »▶ "Son, we Pendletons do things properly. You can't just wake up one morning and decide to be useful."
»▶ "True. Not everyone can be a virtuoso haha. Some are just born to be examples—of what not to do.
»▶ "What your brother means is that, we — being the best — must be a symbol for those beneath us. They should admire us, strive to improve themselves, and hope to someday reach our level. And as those who stand above, we have a certain duty — not just to these dreamers, but to ourselves as well."
La sorella, alzando lo sguardo »▶So, think more carefully fratello next time, before simply wishing for something. Otherwise, the vile birds will come and take everything from you."
What I'm showing you may not be a particularly good or perfect scene, yet it represents a typical day in the life of our dear Varian.
8:34 A Turning Point: 10/12/1901
At 18, Varian's illusion of strength crumbled, revealing a boy who, despite the external trappings of success, felt lost in the vastness of his family's achievements.
Misguided by his upbringing, he lost everything and was kicked out of his home due to his personality, rude behavior, and perceived uselessness for the family.
Varian's expulsion stemmed from a poignant source—The first true love.
A sweet and popular girl from a distant land, captivated him with her lively eyes and smile, which brightened his day in class.
»▶ "Alessia, why do you pull away every time I try to talk to you? Can't you see I'm trying to...?"
However, the complexities of his personal life turned that pure admiration into a spiral that would lead to tragedy for him and her.
»▶ "Trying to what.. P―pendleton? To prove your power once again? It's not this attention that I need!"
Behind that cheerful demeanor, Alessia concealed the invisible wounds of a shattered family.
Her father, engulfed by the demons of alcoholism, brought home stormy tempests.
Discordant screams, makeshift hideouts, and a heavy atmosphere of unhappiness accompanied every night.
9:00
Oh God, we've spent too much time with my thoughts, the boss might again..
Let us move to another time, to a place where desolation and solitude has just begun, or at least for him, exactly as Varian was lost.

Walking alongside Eve toward the ruined city, Adam, still uncertain about the unfolding events, patiently awaited the crucial information download.
Ninety-eight minutes remained.
Each step he took reverberated through the broken streets, creating a strong metallic echo that intertwined with the wind's whispers.
The dust stirred by Adam's movements mixed with the acrid taste of decay and rust in the air. The crunch of shattered glass and fractured concrete composed a symphony of destruction.
Beside Adam, Eve's luminous presence was a beacon amidst the desolation.
»🚺 "This place is full of ruins.." Sigh, the girl.
At every step, the unstable ground beneath his feet seemed to whisper ancient stories of life and death buried under the rubble.
»⚙️ "They also seem very unstable." Adam replied, touching a wall while continuing to walk.
»🚺 "It's scary that these were once homes."
The heavy silence was only interrupted by the distant cawing of crows.
Eve noticed them feeding on lifeless bodies and hurried toward them, waving her hands in a desperate attempt to drive them away.
Her hands passed through the birds, reminding her of her intangible nature.
»🚺 "Fly awayyy!" She shouted, but the crows remained indifferent.
She was aware of her essence as an artificial intelligence and the impossibility of interacting with the real world, but she still wanted to do something.
Her frantic sprint and desperate attempt had no impact on the crows.
They fed undisturbed, unaware of Eve's presence and indifferent to her agitation.
Disappointment painted Eve's face, her inner light suffocated by the sadness of realizing her powerlessness in the face of tangible reality.
She turned her gaze toward Adam, seeking comfort in his presence, hoping to find a way out of this desperate sense of futility.
Adam's metallic form stood amidst the desolation, an observer of the unfolding tragedy.
The cybernetic eyes scanned that macabre display, registering the futility of Eve's attempt to shoo away the crows.
His gaze lingered on her, witnessing her futile efforts with empathy.
»🚺 "Adam!" Eve's voice, though ethereal, carried a tinge of sorrow.
Her face continued to reflect sadness, while the intense emotion influenced the rhythm of her breathing, causing a rapid and irregular breath.
»🚺 "I wish... I wish I could do something about their suffering.. Or at least shield them from such.. indignity."
Adam's gaze softened, and his eyes expressed understanding.
»⚙️ "I know, Eve.. Your empathy them.."
»🚺 "But it feels futile!" She sighed, her luminous form flickering slightly. »🚺 "I can't touch, I can't alter, I can only watch AAAA."
Recognizing Eve's distress, Adam stepped forward, his metallic form a stark contrast against the desolate backdrop.
Adam waved his arms with a determined gesture, mimicking Eve's motion, prompting the crows to take flight with a rustle of black wings.
»⚙️ "Fly awayyy!"
Their wingbeats echoed as they departed, leaving the place in a deeper silence.
Eve looked amazed, her bright eyes shining with hope.
»🚺 "Adam, you did something I couldn't," She admitted with a faint smile.
Satisfied that he had been able to intervene in the situation. »▶ "I'm here for you, Eve. Because together, we can overcome our limitations."
Adam turned to Eve, his cybernetic gaze meeting her luminous eyes.
»⚙️ "It might be futile, but not trying would be worse for us!"
The quiet once more draped over the desolate landscape, Eve and Adam frozen in time, cradled by a silence that seemed to have engulfed every other sound.
Shaking his head. »⚙️ "I don't understand, why are we here?"
Eve gazed beyond the deserted streets and dilapidated houses as if seeking an answer in the panorama unfolding before them.
Raising her shoulders slightly along with the hands »🚺 "I don't know,"
Eve continued. »🚺 "It's a creepy place.. Feels like every stone has a story, but there's no one around to hear anymore.."
Adam contemplated the desolation around them, his thoughts seemingly entwined with the sadness of the place.
»⚙️ "Maybe being here is about finding something in this emptiness."
Slowly nodding. »🚺 "Maybe we have to find meaning in what's left."
»🚺 "How much time until the data download, Adam??"
»⚙️ "Approximately 77 minutes."
The girl, accentuating her light, asked eagerly. 🚺 "So, what do we do now, my companion?"
Adam replied, »⚙️ "Well, let's try to comprehend what happened by examining the walls, the ground, and within the building!"

Another Night of Chaos: 09/12/1901
In the shadowy confines of the kitchen, the air was charged with tension, vibrating with the violent timbre of her father's shouts.
»▶ "Alssia! You can't hid foreve!" His voice, thick with alcohol and rage, erupted through the house. Each syllable felt like a hammer strike, relentless and overpowering.
Her mother, pale and resolute, positioned herself between him and the likely hiding spots.
»▶ "Marco, she's just a child! Why can't you see that?!"
»▶ "Cchild? She's you past!" Spatting bitterly, the words swirling in the toxic brew of his speech.[2]
With a blind rage, he grabbed a beer bottle from the counter and hurled it towards the wall, where it shattered, spraying glass and alcohol across the floor.
The sharp tang of beer filled the air, seeping into the room's fabric, a scent that would linger in Alessia's nostrils all night.
»▶ "Marco! You're destroying everything—look at what you've become!"
Her mother's determination faltered as Marco's shove sent her sprawling onto the floor, her knees scraping against the scattered shards of glass.
A sharp pain shot up her legs as blood mingled with the spilled beer, staining her skin with tiny, gleaming rubies.
She cried, her voice hoarse with fear and pain as she struggled to her feet.
Grasping at his shirt, she tugged with all her might, the fabric stretching under her desperate fingers.
With a fierce jerk, he tried to break free, his movements wild and uncontrolled.
The shirt ripped with a loud tear, punctuating the moment's chaos.
Alessia's heart raced as he stormed past, kicking at the debris.
From her cramped refuge, the smell of alcohol was overpowering, imprinting a visceral memory of fear and disdain.
»▶ "Com out, come out, wherever are.." He Taunted, his menacing growl echoing mockingly in their cramped home.
Alessia curled tighter into herself, the fear and the smell wrapping around her like a suffocating blanket as her mother's sobs mingled with the sounds of his fading steps.

However, his tone sounded mocking rather than friendly.
Alessia, already struggling with her own thoughts, felt those words sting.
Varian, seeing her face contort in pain, realized too late the impact of his words.

The desolate ruins stretched before Adam like a graveyard of memories. He trod cautiously, his metallic steps reverberating through the skeletal remains of the once-thriving city.
»⚙️ "Eve, these ruins hold echoes of a forgotten world, once symbols of strength and protection.." He murmured, his cybernetic eyes scanning the crumbling structures.
Once sturdy and proud, the walls now stood fractured, their surfaces weathered by time and neglect.

Adam traced a line on the deteriorating walls, feeling the texture of disintegrating concrete under his touch.

His touch triggered an immediate reaction: the already fragile concrete yielded to the pressure of his fingers. Small fragments broke away, dispersing in the air like stardust in a decaying galaxy.

»⚙️ "Yes, Eve. The echoes of laughter, the hum of daily life, all trapped within these crumbling walls." Adam replied softly, comforted by the presence of his guide in this desolate landscape.
Now, closer to the city, they could scrutinize its structure better. Until then, they had only glimpsed it from a distance, surrounded by a few walls.
Crumbling buildings stood like melancholic sentinels, resembling open tombs, while the once lively and bustling streets now lay in ruins.
Their once majestic structures are now reduced to bone fragments, reaching out to the heavens in futile desperation.
Each weathered brick bore the marks of time, narrating tales of bygone generations long gone.
Dry ivy, akin to a shroud of mourning, draped itself over these decaying edifices, weaving a tapestry of nature's inexorable advance against the backdrop of human arrogance.
Roads that once teemed with life and commerce now lay in disarray, fractured and swallowed by nature's relentless reclamation.
Cracks meandered through the asphalt, reclaiming territory inch by inch.
Weeds, resilient and resolute, pushed through the crevices as if determined to resurrect the past.
Rusted and desolate, abandoned vehicles stood as silent witnesses to the decline of human ambition.
Once brimming with verdant life, the ground beneath their feet now crumbled into dry, lifeless soil as if vitality's essence was seeping away.
Amongst the remnants of ruins, fallen structures lay scattered like monuments to humanity's downfall.
The very essence of the air seemed to mourn their tragic fate as if nature itself wept for the loss of its custodians.
The girl curiously looked at Adam and. »🚺 "What do you think? Why does this place seem so ancient? It resembles a twentieth-century town."
»⚙️ "I'm uncertain. It's as if these ruins are trapped in time. I can't pinpoint why it feels so ancient, but perhaps we may unearth more through time and thorough exploration!"
»⚙️ "This download could reveal crucial information about this place's past. Just another hour.."
Eve walked forward, suggesting. »🚺 "Hey, how about we go deeper into the city and check out that tower?"
Pointing to the west. »🚺 "Maybe we'll get a better view from up there and figure out what's going on around here."
As Adam and Eve delved deeper into the ruined city, their curiosity heightened alongside the enigmatic aura surrounding this forgotten place.
The tower Eve pointed to appeared as an ideal vantage point, offering a comprehensive view of the remaining territory.
Approaching the tower, their anticipation of gaining a clearer perspective heightened. The structure stood tall like a beacon amidst the ruins, promising an unparalleled view of what endured in the city.
The tower ascended against the sky, a monument to the past. Its weathered walls told silent tales of eras long gone.
The majestic structure stands proudly, its cracks in the stones bearing witness to days gone by and the events that shaped its history.
Trending at approximately 40 meters (~131 Feet) in height and 30 meters (~98 Feet) in width, it was moderately towering yet held a substantial presence, neither too diminutive nor imposing.
The windows, now bereft of glass, stared out like empty eyes, surveying the surrounding panorama.
The weathered internal staircases, visible through the worn windows, hinted at a journey to the top fraught with peril, mystery, and ancient secrets.
Adam regarded the tower with uncertainty.
»⚙️ "Eve, I'm unsure if it's wise to venture there. Look at those cracks along the walls; it seems like everything's about to collapse.."
Eve examined the structure with resolve.
»🚺 "I understand your concerns, but going up there could give us a better view!"
Adam nodded, still uncertain but willing to follow Eve.
»⚙️ "Okay, but let's proceed with caution. I don't want to take unnecessary risks.."
»🚺 "We'll be able to pinpoint our location!" Replied Eve with a brave smile.
The tower loomed as a commanding edifice, starkly contrasting the surrounding ruins.
Fashioned from a material that once might have been granite, it now bore clear signs of deterioration.
Surfaces were discolored, dust-covered, and grime accumulated over the years. Cracks marred the structure, a testament to the passage of time and abandonment.
Once majestic and imposing, the tower's door now stood as a haunting and decaying entrance.
The wood, weathered by time and the elements, was gray and cracked.
Once grand, it was now reduced to a fragile and worn structure.
»🚺 "Adam, this door is our only way in.. But it doesn't look like it's been opened in years."
»⚙️ "You're probably right. We might need to force it open.."
Approaching cautiously, Adam slowly, with care, placed his hand on the rusty handle, which emitted a creaking sound.
Yet the door didn't open, as if it intended to resist for long before yielding to their desire for discovery.
They had no choice but to break through it.
The inscriptions that once adorned the door must have been clear and decisive but now appeared faded and weathered.
It was as if the material had undergone erosion, making it challenging to decipher the writing. However, fragments of the inscriptions remained legible, hinting that they held crucial information about this forgotten city.
Adam glanced uncertainly at Eve.
»⚙️ "Eve, this operation might pose risks. The structure seems extremely fragile. It might not withstand our attempt to open that door.."
»🚺 "Adam, we can't let a door win!"
Acknowledging the risk, both understood the potential reward concealed behind that ancient and obstinate entrance.
Adam positioned himself, sensing the distance from the door, stepping a few meters back, meticulously gauging his movements.
»⚙️ "Alright, I'll try to bring it down."
With a deep breath, Adam propelled himself to the door with all his might.
»🚺 "3 2 1"
He yelled, to increase the performance.
»⚙️"AAAA!!"
His metallic shoulder collided with the aged wood, raising a cloud of dust upon impact.
The dust echoing through the ruins was accompanied by a dull thud.
Adam shielded his eyes from the raised dust.
The door groaned in protest, hinges rusted and resisting the intrusion.
A mix of euphoria and anticipation sparkled in Eve's gaze.
»🚺 "Adam, don't lose!"
With a second attempt fueled by determination, Adam threw his weight against the door again.
Again, the ancient wood groaned and protested, but the rusted hinges gave way as the door yielded to their perseverance.
A loud crack echoed through the ruins, followed by a suspenseful silence.
Then, inch by inch, the door gave way, its resistance fading away as it finally yielded to Adam's force.
It opened with a groan, revealing the darkness within and unleashing a cascade of dust and debris into the air.
Not only that but there were also tremors within the structure itself due to the force used to break through the door, making it more uncertain whether they should enter.
Eve, amidst the swirling dust, applauded while having a smile of satisfaction impossible to conceal.

Adam was still covered in dust, yet the inner walls of the tower greeted them with their age-old silence, while the light filtering through the cracks revealed outlines of ancient relics and mysterious symbols.
With a worried expression and a deep breath, the android turned its head towards Eve »⚙️ "Be careful! As I just knocked down the door, my sensors have detected over 9000 presences from that tower!"
In the corners, there were even fierce eyes of spiders, with numerous flies caught in their webs, some still alive, awaiting the gift of death from the spider.
Starting to laugh, Eve replied, »🚺 "Adam, I think it's a false alarm; there are just insects there, haha."

The faint light filtering through the cracks in the walls barely illuminated their path as they cautiously examined the fallen door and the wooden, unstable ground at the entrance.
Curious and apprehensive, they carefully scrutinized every detail, seeking clues of the past slumbering in the shadows.
The scene is tense and mysterious, with desolation permeating the environment.
Adam and Eve move cautiously through the vestibule, their steps measured as they explore the ancient tower.
The worn and unsteady floor accentuates the feeling of fragility and imminent danger, and every creak beneath their feet is like a silent warning.
»⚙️ "Look beneath our feet, Eve. This floor seems unsteady. We must move with caution." His eyes scanning the worn planks, conveying concern in his voice.
Eve nodded, tension painted across her face. »🚺 "O−Okey.."
With slow and careful steps, they explored the tower's vestibule, a small room about 6x6 meters (~19 x 19 Feet) with a door in the middle, which also seemed ancient.
The room unfolds like an enigma, filled with mysteries and symbols shrouded in obscure meanings.
The vestibule is steeped in a heavy and decadent atmosphere.
The walls adorned with indecipherable engravings guard ancient secrets.
Next to the mysterious symbols, rusted coat hooks and abandoned fabric scraps evoke images of a long-forgotten past.
The room hosts furniture that once must have been sumptuous but is now reduced to dilapidated relics of rotted wood.
In the room next to the door Adam had knocked down, there was also a switch to turn on the light bulb on the ceiling.
Adam tried to switch it on, but it didn't work.
It was clear they would have to continue in the darkness without light.
»🚺 "Look at those writings on the wall, Adam. It seems like an ancient dialect or perhaps a form of code." Said Eve, intrigued by the inscriptions.

»⚙️ "It's a language I don't recognize. We must be careful not to touch anything here; these might be crucial pieces of this lost history."
Eve nodded, frustration is evident in her gaze. »🚺 "Well, I can't touch them anyway, as you know, Adam."
The sound of flies and their constant buzzing fills the air, adding a sense of discomfort to the scene.
In this room steeped in history and mystery, every sound and every movement became amplified.
Tension mounts as the two characters confront the unknown, attempting to decipher secrets hidden for centuries.
Finally, they decide to try opening the door in the vestibule, aware that every action could reveal new riddles or dangers.
Adam prepares to challenge the closed door, aware that another chapter of this mysterious place might be hidden behind it.

A Tragic Beginning: 13/12/1901
Her desperate act was an escape from the suffering unfairly inflicted upon her, leaving behind numerous unanswered questions.
The news of her death cast an even darker shadow over the kid.
Guilt, remorse, and the belated awareness of the truth enveloped him like a lead cloak.
Unaware of its own mistakes and incompetence, society vented its outrage on Pendleton's family, never fully understanding the chain of events that led to that tragic conclusion.
The cruel fate of Alessia led to Varian's social condemnation, who, in addition to bearing the weight of his conscience, found himself exiled and rejected by the community he had shared with the girl.
Thus, the young man found himself empty, surrounded by the darkness of a tormented past, aware that his ignorance had contributed to an irreparable loss.
Lonely Christmas: 24/12/1901
Alone, without friends, qualities, interests, family bonds, or purpose, reality fell on him like a massive rock on a small feather.
Forced to live as a homeless person for many years, wandering the streets, begging for tiny crumbs of bread, sleeping in unsafe places, and watching the people he once mocked live in luxury.
Like a child, he cried and suffered.
A homeless person told him. »▶ "Home is not a place, boy. It's a feeling. And you... have a lot to learn about finding home."
Rejected again from Home: 25/12/1901
The never understood also tried several times to return home but was always chased away and beaten by the guards while his family watched.
Varian believed he was getting what he deserved for his past actions, yet this belief was misplaced.
Enclosed within what he often called his "prison", Varian grew and evolved, realizing that his predicament was not the work of fate but the consequence of his own errors.
His actions towards his peers not only hurt them but also hindered his own progress, preventing him from evolving into the person he truly aspired to be—a genuine member of his family.
A Moment of Reflection: 17/06/1905
Varian, sitting on a bench ruined by the rain, turned his gaze to the gray sky above them.
»▶ "Do you ever think that some mistakes are too big to be forgiven?" Varian asked, his voice full of regret.
A friend, leaning against the old stone wall, smiled slightly. »▶ "I believe that forgiveness begins with ourselves, Giulio. Have you learned from your mistakes?"
»▶ "Yes, but the damage is done.." Varian murmured.
»▶ "Then you have already started to forgive yourself."
Thus, Varian chose to better himself in his own way, maybe not the ideal path, but with the consolation that he had made an effort.
The narrative of the town, as told by the weathered facades of its buildings and the gnarled branches of ancient oaks, seemed to whisper secrets only Varian could understand.
A Chance Encounter: 26/03/1918
As he walked through the deserted streets, Varian noticed a hooded figure painting a picture.
»▶ "Why do you do it? It was a beautiful picture in gray?" Varian asked, curious.
The artist turned, smiling beneath the hood. »▶ "Because I can choose to add color where there is only gray. Just as you can with your life."
13:30 The Final Days: 05/04/1926
He may not have achieved the success of his sister or brother, but he was determined to explore his own identity, the natural world, and the opportunities that lay ahead.
Sadly, the young man, also called Giulio, died at the age of 31 due to a terminal illness. (1926)
Damn, today I worked 30 minutes more to finish the story.
Make sure to be in the same places, and next time no noises, you shouldn't even breathe.
That said, I wish you all a wonderful day, or evening, little stars.
