"Mr. Adams, sir. This is actually another world. Another universe. I understand that you can't seem to believe it now. Trust me. You can go and come back to this world as well as your own real world." Joe started to talk as we sat in the living room.
"Another world? I thought so. But I don't understand why it's happening so suddenly." Robin sighed, placing his palms on his cheeks. "And how do I shift from this world to my real world?"
"You have an important mission, that's why you're brought here. I have no idea on the mission. I'm sure Mr. Gerald will brief us later. About going and coming back, you just have to clap twice and say 'Shift!', sir." Joe replied as Robin listened carefully.
"Okay, okay. I seem to get it now. I'm an agent here meanwhile in my real life, I'm just a clerk... Is this like a dream, Joe? I've always wanted a cool job just to show them I'm capable of doing anything." Robin stood up and punched the air as he talked. "Not only that, Joe, it's finally my time to shine." He looked up at ceiling while spreading his arms.
"Sir, I believe you already shine. And this is not a dream. It's just another world that you don't know you exist in it." Joe stated bluntly.
"Oh, come on, Joe. Just say it's a dream. It means so much to me. But it doesn't matter since it's happening for real now. And let me try something!" Robin replied as he sat back down.
Seconds later, he clapped his hands together twice and said "Shift!". To his surprise, the same, familiar white light appeared again for the second time. He was dropped in his bedroom in his real world. He looked around to make sure it was his bedroom. Then, he did the same thing and there he was again in the living room with his assistant as he shifted to another world.
"It works! That's so cool. I can do this if those targets suddenly attack me." Robin said, his eyes seemed to shine.
"Sir, shifting worlds doesn't mean you can run away from those targets. Do you think the top agent would do that?" Joe replied, shaking his head.
"You're right. I need to look cool and handsome. But it's hard to differentiate these two worlds. Let's just pick names for both worlds, then. Do you have any idea, Joe?" Robin wondered as he looked at Joe.
"What about Robin A World and Robin B World, sir? I mean, Robin A is your real world and this world can be referred as Robin B." Joe suggested.
"They sound ridiculous. However, I can't think of anything else, so, I'll accept those names. Thank you, Joe." Robin said, nodding his head. "I should change to formal attire to meet Mr. Gerard, then."
"It's Mr. Gerald, sir." Joe said, correcting Robin.
"That's what I said, Joe. Mr. Gerard." Robin replied back as he stood up, looking at Joe.
"Mr. Gerald with an L, not an R." Joe explained, drawing the letters with his fingers.
"Oh, my bad. It's Mr. Gerard, then." Robin said, walking away to his room.
"Whatever you say, sir..." Joe sighed softly.
. . .
"What is this button for?" Robin asked as he found a small yellow button at the bottom of his suit.
"It helps you to shape shift, sir. You can choose whether you want to change your clothes only or to be another different person." Joe answered.
"Shape shifting? I can do that? Then, why do I have so many clothes in my wardrobe if I can just change clothes like this?!" Robin asked again with a pouting face.
"After all, it's just a suit, sir. You'll still have to clean it to wear it again. The button is also on the other clothes, too." Joe said, shaking his head for the second time. He didn't know dealing with Robin was a bit tough. "You can clean your clothes with this spray, sir. You just need to spray this on your clothes and they're ready to be worn again." He added as he walked to the wardrobe to get the spray bottle he was talking about.
"Alright, alright. Thank you for telling me. So... no washing machines here?" Robin asked, raising his brows.
"Washing ma... chines?" Joe asked back. He didn't seem to get what Robin was saying.
"Oh, right, right. I get it now. In Robin A World, we have these machines to wash our clothes." Robin said enthusiastically. "This world is so cool! Let's go now. We don't want to be late."
"Got it, sir." Joe replied as Robin closed his wardrobe and was ready to walk out of his room.
"Before that, I forgot to ask you something." Robin said as they both walked out of the house.
"Feel free to ask me anything, sir." Joe replied politely.
"If I'm here at Robin B, what happens to the other 'me' in Robin A?" He asked his assistant.
"Well, the other 'you' will just be the same. What I meant is that the other 'you' in Robin A is different from the 'you' in Robin B. You don't know what he's doing at Robin A and vice versa." Joe explained slowly.
"Oh, it's around midnight now in Robin A, so, the other 'me' is maybe sleeping." Robin said, nodding his head to show that he understood.
"Alright, here we go, sir." They stood in front of a huge car. "But before that, sir. I forgot to introduce you to the guardians of your house."
"G-guardians?" Robin gasped, looking around.
"Yes, sir. They're flying creatures that will help you guard your house. Meet Dory and Flint." Both of the guardians appeared in front of Robin and Joe.
"Oh, hello, sir! I'm Flint. Don't worry, we'll guard your house will all our hearts!" Flint said, smiling widely at his master.
Flint wore a blue suit and hat with black shiny shoes, his wings were light blue. His blonde hair a bit long.
"Yes, sir! As you know, I'm Dory." She smiled and took Robin's hand. "We'll take care of your precious place just like we should!"
The other one appeared with a purple long dress, a small tiara on the head and with light purple wings. Didn't forget the black heels, though. Her hair was in a bun neatly.
"O-oh, alright! Thank you so much. It's very nice to meet you two. We'll be out for now. Take a rest if you're tired, okay?" Robin replied.
"We're never tired of you, sir!" Flint said enthusiastically.
"They're just loud, sir. I'm so sorry." Joe said as he rushed Robin to get into the car.
"Shut up, Joe!" Dory yelled and Flint rolled his eyes at Joe. Joe just smirked at them.
"Take me to fly around sometime!" Robin said loudly as he got into the car.
"Will gladly do so, sir!" Dory and Flint both replied at the same time.
