Two days had passed since the night I slept with Atlas. Two days of trying to wrap my head around the fact that I had given myself to him without hesitation. Two days of wondering when, or if, he would contact me again.
But Atlas has never been predictable. He has always been busy with his position, always showing up when I least expect him or when I don’t want him to. And since the other night, I haven’t heard from him. Which only made my situation that much more complicated.
My mind was utterly possessed by the memory of our union. The way his touch had ignited every nerve, the way he had driven me to the edge of ecstasy. Every fiber of my being aches to return to that moment, to be enveloped in his embrace once more, surrendering completely to his commanding presence.
