Monk Hongyun looked at Su Mo in shock, seemingly forgetting how to speak for a moment.
But after a short while, he came to his senses and sighed, "That's right, after all, this matter originated from me. If it were Benefactor in my place, I'm afraid you would not have left easily without seeing the Evil People repent."
Su Mo, however, shook his head, "Maybe I wouldn't have acted at all. There are too many injustices in this world, how could I possibly manage them all?"
The old monk seemed thoughtful upon hearing this, but then he heard Su Mo ask, "How did Master handle it back then?"
The old monk thought for a moment and said, "I... did not act."
"It's only human nature."
Su Mo nodded. The old monk was a bit stubborn, often getting stuck on details.
However, as an outsider, he wasn't in a position to criticize.
