Legion respects those who are smart. It is without a doubt that it was a good idea for the clone of Jason to escape because if he hadn't run with his tail between his legs, Legion-1 wouldn't mind converting him to Legion there and then.
Legion-1 then stopped thinking about the small shrimp that just escaped and instead focused on the void universe. He had more important matters to deal inside of dwelling on some weakling.
He laughed and jeered at the will of the void universe, "Who will save you now?"
The will of the void universe replied with a cold, stern voice, "Nothing you do will matter at the end. You're just a rat at the bottom of a well. You're trapped now, and you will remain trapped forever."
Legion-1 didn't mind being talked down to like that. He said, "We will see about that."
Then he slammed into the golden sphere around the Will of the Void universe.
