It's been a full year since Dante arrived at Kaer Morhen.
While he was having fun then and there with Ciri and the gals, the raven-haired would study the runes that are lost in this unique universe, and lastly, he would continue to perfect his portal. Which was happening right now, as the young man stood up from his desk, beaming with happiness.
"At last!" He shouted quietly, no matter how happy he was, he shouldn't wake a sleeping pig that's laying in the bed near him. 'One whole year huh... now that I think about it, I never got to celebrate my birthday... wait, at beenz too, I never got to celebrate anything at all...'
Shooking his head to rid him of his thoughts, Dante looked at a big paper made of the highest quality and smiled, 'Now all I need to do is compress it, and I'm all good...'

"So... Lord Beerus, what brings you here today?" A certain kai with round glasses was comforting his hand in front of the god of destruction. He had a 'chubby' body, making him look like a goof with the glasses on.
"Yes, I have a little business with the Saiyan inside." The god of destruction cupped his hands behind his back, making King Kai flinch in return.
A certain black-haired guy with a funny-looking hairstyle scratched his head, "Yikes!"
"H-How rude of me..." King Kai stuttered but tried to keep calm, "Goku, come say hello to L-Lord Beerus!"
"Oh! Can I really?" Goku asked but didn't wait for an answer and jogged towards Beerus in excitement. "What's up? I'm Goku!"
He introduced himself only to get bonked by King Kai who had shark-like features forming on his teeth.
"W-Why'd you do that?"
"I knew you were going to say that. Don't you know how to greet someone? Idiot!" King Kai berated Goku. Though he was berating Goku, he weirdly out of character, he lacked the emotion of some sort.
"That hurt!" Goku winced but immediately corrected himself, straightening up his back and marched towards Beerus and Whis. "Good morning, Sir!"
"Uhhh... My name is Son Goku, Sir"
Not minding their antics, Beerus questioned what he came for, "Good morning, Goku. There is something I would like to ask you..." he said while smiling like the monkey was a prey, "Er, Super..."
"Super Saiyan God..." Whis immediately corrected Beerus before he could make a mistake and embarrass himself, not that anyone would dare to laugh though. Other than him and a certain raven-haired.
"Yes, yes. Do you know anything about a 'Super Saiyan God'?" The god of destruction scratched his forehead a little bit, then nodded to himself signifying he was sure of his question.
Goku on the other hand, raised a brow in confusion, "Super Saiyan God? I know about the plain old Saiyans..." he muttered and cupped his chin, "No, I've never heard of it, man..."
Sensitive to everything at the moment, King Kai glared at Goku, making him straighten up his back even more.
"E- I haven't heard of it, Sir!"
"This is the first time I'm hearing of the term 'Super Saiyan God'. I also have never heard of it myself." informed King Kai as respectable as possible.
"Is that so? Hmm... I've heard you're the one who defeated Frieza?" Beerus walked towards Goku and stopped just in front of him, not minding their antics.
"Eh? Oh, Frieza, yes! I defeated him all right, Sir!" replied Goku enthusiastically but was surprised as the Cornish Rex looking humanoid cat started to poke his chest, lift his arm, and poke it after.
'Whuh?'

'Whuh?'
Dante woke up dizzily as he finally got to rest so late at night yesterday. No, he actually got to rest at dawn, but his body was attuned to waking up early because of Ciri always nagging him to train her.
He was really happy, he finally got to connect both the universe he was currently on to the one he came from. It took a solid year to make it, and his hard work coupled with persistence finally paid off.
'Wait, speaking of the rune...'
He hastily got up, only to find a certain ashen-haired holding a stone with carvings unto it. The girl looked calm and neutral, but he knew how she was feeling right now. "Ciri..."
"You finally finished it, huh..."
Ciri cracked her voice, shivers went her, weakening her body. She placed the rune back at the table and crossed her arms as if to comfort herself. "After all these months of failures and constant beratement you gave yourself... I'm proud of you... I really am..."
She was holding her tears as much as she could, but the dam couldn't handle the pressure as the water finally flowed when Dante suddenly hugged her.
Ever since they shared their feelings, Ciri knew Dante was going to go back to his universe, no matter what, and Ciri knew that. She had a lot of time to accept the truth. However, for some reason, her heart still aches, and doesn't want to accept it until now.
She cried on his chest silently, while the lad didn't move as his shirt was damped with tears. For a while, he then slowly walked backward, leading her to the bed to make her comfortable. It took a few seconds but they were now on the bed, laying down. Tears were still flowing outside of the ashen-haired's eyes as they were cuddling, her head against his chest, listening to it with her heart matching his beat.
Dante only caressed her cheek, the back of her hair, kissing her forehead, nose, cheeks, making fun of her lips while kissing it. He did anything, just to cheer her up. He didn't want her to forget about this, he wanted her to accept this. They promised to never let go, and wait until they'd see each other again, and they'll keep that promise.
"You know... this was supposed to be a surprise, but seeing your face now makes me kinda feel bad about it..."
Ciri only sniffed and looked at him, confused, "Hmm?"
Dante scratched his head sheepishly, "Well, you know... remember when we talked regarding the runes and stuff?"
"Where you'll immediately use it and go back right after you finish making it, yes?" Ciri slowly nodded her head.
"Well... I talked to all of them about this since Yennefer will take you from Kaer Morhen to train you starting next month... I've decided to delay my travel and wait for her to take you before going back to my universe." Dante filled her in with his plan for her to which the ashen-haired was taken aback.
"W-What? Really? Is that the truth? You're not lying are you!?" Ciri burst into tears, hugging him with joy.
"Of course that's the truth, when have I ever lied to my wife?" Dante bit her nose jokingly, sharing her laugh.
"Never! hehe~" Ciri grinned despite the continuous sobbing, but glared a little, "You just deflect questions!" 'Wife...'
"But I'm still not lying though," Dante whistled, breaking his eye contact. "I'm just being smart."
"You're smart, but you're also an ass, you're making fun of me every time..." Ciri complained, then widened her eyes, "I know! You're a smart-ass!" She laughed so hard that she was having trouble breathing which made the raven-haired sweatdrop.
"I changed my mind, I'm using the portal now..."
"Go ahead, smart-ass!" Ciri taunted him and laughed at her own joke again.
Sighing to himself, this made Dante a little sad, 'I wonder how troublesome our child would be if we had one. Not that it's bad, worst-case scenario, our child would get both of our personalities...
...
Yeah, that's bad... really bad...'

A man was sitting on a throne as he crossed his leg and placed an elbow to the arm-rest for his face to rest on his fist.
"-your endeavors become fruitful my king..." A middle-classed elf bowed in front of the king and left.
"Imlerith, how are the dozen newly dispatched navigators?" The king waved his hand to signify that it was okay to be casual.
"The ones you personally picked are fine young elves, they'll make the elven race proud with their abilities. A few slip-ups then and there, but nothing a war can't teach." Emlerith, who was a gigantic man leaned to one of the pillars near the king and grinned. He had a three-red-line tattoo on his face, a bald haircut, and had a club/scepter-like weapon on his back. "Although, a certain individual hasn't been showing up lately to our meetings, my king."
A big door opened revealing to people, Ge'els and Caranthir.
"My king, I have fetched General Ge'els, he was busy painting and wanted to kick me out, so I decided to teleport him to the castle doors immediately." Caranthir bowed with his head low.
"*Sigh* So he's still not here?" Ge'els rushed inside, not wanting to anger the king. He turned his head to look around and found nothing. "Avallac'h has grown bolder than ever."
"No matter... I received a piece of information from a navigator," The king stood up and walked towards a window, "a world known as 'The continent' has been showing off the signs of the elder blood, I want you to search for the body that's carrying that blood. If it's a boy, kill him and gather his blood. If it's a girl, you know what I want."
All of them bowed before him with synced voices, "Yes, King Eredin!"
"Soon... soon we will rule everything, that is my promise..."
