In front of a waterfall stands a young man, appearing no older than twenty-one. His fist reaches toward the sky—triumphant—until, suddenly, his body begins to fall.
For a moment, it looks like he will crash onto the hard ground, but just before impact, soft vines burst from the earth, rising to catch him.
They weave together, forming a protective bed, wrapping gently around him in a shield-like cocoon.
I open my eyes, unsure how much time has passed since I fainted.
I find myself encased in vines, formed into an oval-shaped nest with me at its center.
Instantly, I assume it's a monster, and my instincts take over—I summon my sword from my inventory and prepare to strike.
Just as my blade is about to cut through the vines, J's voice booms in my mind.
"STOP, SIR!"
Startled by his urgency, I halt my attack.
"Why? What is this?"
"Sir, this is Mother Nature protecting you. When you collapsed, it created a protective barrier to keep you safe from monsters."
I blink.
"Mother Nature is... protecting me? Why would it do that?"
"Due to your newly acquired skill {Magic & Sword Grandmaster}, you possess control over the elements. They serve you and regard you as a noble existence. Any magical attacks—excluding weapons—will not harm you unless the attacker has a higher-realm skill than yours."
My breath catches.
"I don't think I can be surprised anymore... This is beyond OP—I might just have a heart attack!"
I take a moment to steady myself.
"Alright—how do I get out of here?"
"Simply focus on the vines and command them. They will obey."
"That easy?"
I gather myself, inhaling deeply, trying to channel the most dignified tone possible.
"Let me out."
Instantly, the vines retract, gently placing me down before retreating into the ground.
I exhale slowly, then open my eyes—and the world looks completely different.
Everything is more vibrant, infused with energy.
I can see magic—woven into the air, the earth, the trees, even the light and shadows themselves.
And the magic... reacts to my gaze.
Overwhelmed, I sit down, steadying my thoughts, letting everything sink in.
Minutes pass. My mana pool refills completely, reinforcing my strength.
I open my status, excited to see the changes.
"It's decided—I will be a one-man army."
Even though my level is low, my current stats make me powerful enough to wage war against an entire Familia, like Soma Familia.
I also notice that my WP has skyrocketed to 3162, thanks to the two peak-legend realm skills I acquired from fusing hero-level abilities.
That's when a realization hits me.
"Wait—did I just find a loophole in the system?!"
A wicked grin forms.
"J—buy peak-hero level skills for every skill I have that isn't Legend Realm, then fuse them until they all reach Legend Realm!"
"Are you sure, sir?"
"YES—do it fast!"

With my new strength, I realize I can clear a massive part of this forest within a month—then head to the city early.
I stand up, ready to hunt.
Drawing my black katana, I expand my domain, scanning the forest for prey.
Two minutes into my casual walk, I detect movement to the east.
I focus—and find a group of six goblins battling a bear.
I teleport closer.
At the battle's edge, I see the goblins using poisoned arrows—yet the bear doesn't move forward to attack.
It's guarding a cave.
I scan inside with my domain—and detect two young bear cubs.
"She's afraid—if she moves, an arrow might hit her cubs. But if she stays still... the poison will kill her."
A decision clicks into place.
"I was planning to hunt anyway—I may as well do some good, too."
