'Well, that is taken care of.' Jules had finished looking over and distributing all his stat points. While logged off, his body kept picking herbs and surveying the mountain area. Movements were kept to a minimum of getting acquainted with the terrain and filling out the map.

The terrain advantage was nice. But It did not work in the mountains. He had no new quests available. Besides a feeling of just wanting to go through the mountains for the previous Warlord Quest completion, he had nothing else really.

"Oh, a few houses. Wonder if anybody is home? Well they would be dead since the bandits are all here and whatnot." Jules walked over and checked around the place. A total of four houses to look through. The first three had nothing of note. But the fourth had a few books. Going through them all was easy. They were little rough sketches of Caelian from the mountain top. "Hmm better than nothing." Placing the books back he ducked behind the wall.

Caelian Was just another Noble house or territory. It as part of the Lycian League. A group that banded togethor for various purposes. the more or less on named Leader was House Ostia. It was also the largest within the League. The others did not have to obey the house really, but they had close ties between them all. House Pherae was damn near its direct subordinate. House Caelin and Laus held their own counsel mostly. The others remained neutral.

"What do you think we can get for that lass down below?" Bandit 1 asked his partner. The two were most likely talking about Lyndis. If not maybe another person was around. "She has grown really strong and pretty. The "Eturia Freaks" would like that."

"Heh! I am more worried about who will get her. I am not taking on that Sniper." Bandit 2 said. It definitely was not Lyndis. Lyndis gets a bow on class promotion in a few years but not right now. Which was weird since she would know how to use a bow already from her father's teachings. "Hold up!" Bandit 2 stopped his partner. Pointing to the disturbance in the area. The herbs that had been picked. As well as a door still ajar in house number 2. Jules thought he closed it all the way. Side effects from living alone for the last few years.

'Well, this just got a little more fun.' Peeking around the way. Jules watched as the two moved to the house. With a quick thought, he grabbed one of the clay cups. 'Here we.. go!' Tossing towards house 3, the bandits ran to see what was around.

"Go see, I will go around the back!" Bandit 1 yelled to number 2. He in fact ran to the side instead. Surprisingly the bandits were not that stupid. Soon as bandit 2 opened the door, he ran inside axe at the ready. Bandit 1 leaned against the side. Right in Jules range.

"Flux." Jules said lowly. He needed to recite for the full power. The black dome caught around Bandit 1. "Hah!" Closing it squashed his head killing the bandit instantly. The body slumped against the wall. Moving to the door in a sprint, he made it just in time to spot Bandit 2 coming out. "Tch!" The bandit came out to fast to get a good shot with Flux. "Old school son."

"No!" Bandit 2 looked at his downed comrade. Looking to the side as Jules charged at him. "You will pay for this!" Axe swinging to the side to meet sword.

"Ting!" Weapons clashed, sparks were sent flying. Jules was pushed back with ease. This guy was a bruiser with the strength to spare.

"Your clothes look noble. I will bring your corpse to the right people and fetch a pretty penny." The Bandit was already thinking about the reward. He loved it when these nobles started to squabble amongst themselves. Always fresh for the picking.

"Sching!" Jules's sword came across the bandit's scalp and left a cut. The blood started to drip in the bandit's eyes slowly. Lunging forward, the bandit raised its axe high to deliver a powerful blow.

"Hmmm." Jules pulled his sword in front and turned the blade to help him block. "Ugh!" He groaned in pain and felt his health take a bit of the hit. "There!" Seeing a small glowing black point on the bandit's neck, he pushed off the contact and slashed at it.

"Schlick!" Jules's sword danced across the bandit leaving two distinctive marks behind. He scored a critical hit.

"Ahh!" The bandit screamed giving Jules the perfect opportunity.

"Flux!" The spell went off instantly and wrapped around the bandit.

"Vrrrom!" Pulling in on itself it destroyed the bandit's head leaving just a severed body.

"Woah.. that was different." Jules looked the body over then checked his map. The area was clear so he relaxed a little. The little exp orbs flowed into him and gave him a locked item in his inventory. Checking it, he was surprised to see he couldn't identify it. "Ha that bites."

(Scenario Item Locked)

"Hmm, a bandit hunting I will go." Jules mumbled. If the bandits made it to here, they might have traveled with smaller groups to find the others.

A few hours later it was time to most likely head back. Jules had surveyed a good part of the mountain first layer and had taken out a few bandits along the way. Not a single one would surrender or yield. It was interesting to say the least how they turned violent on sight. Jules was reminded how fun games could be and clear with who was an enemy and who was not. Then again... online games were different at times.

"Hmm, what is this then?" Jules spotted a woman on the ground bleeding. Her name was in question marks and in yellow. "You ok there lady? Are you the Sniper those bandits are looking for?" Standing about 30 feet away, he spotted the quiver had fallen to the side. 'Need to move that away. Just in case.'

"Vroom." Jules wrapped magic around the quiver and moved about 100 feet to the side. Nothing could be done about the bow, however. The woman had a death grip on it. Looking for any other weapons, he spotted a dagger on the boot and hip.

"Hmm not gonna risk grabbing those." Moving his sword underneath the woman, he couldn't help but relate her to an Etruria noble he remembers seeing in the games. But this person was completely unknown to him. "Why do you look like that woman called Cecilia? Has she even turned into something yet?" Thinking about it and doing a time table in his head, their was no way she could be her. Had to be a relative.

The age wouldn't match up right. Cecilia is a Mage General of Etruria. But that is in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. She teaches Eliwood the Marques of Pherae and Hector of Ostia futurfe children in war-craft. A few other things she did that Jules did not care about.

"Why are you here?" Flipping the body over with the sword, he was in for a shocker. "Ha aah ahaha your not a woman at all. Your a man. Those bandits would have been quite crossed if they knew that."

Jules boisterous laughing would have alerted the bandits, but he killed all the ones in the area. As for the sniper, he started to get up. Much to the notice of Jules who had an eye on him while he laughed. Faking himself preoccupied to get the sniper to make a move. Whether it was good or bad.

"Hah!" The sniper swung the bow at Jules trying to trip him. His eyes darted around looking for his quiver.

"Fwip!" It missed as Jules parried with his sword. In his hand a blast of magic fired out. "Woom!" It hit the sniper in the chest causing him to slide further on the ground. Jules stabbed forward towards the man's arms as he rolled. "Chuk, chuk, chuk!" Each stabbed missed hitting the dirt. The sniper saw Jules as he rolled and sped up getting away. Jules sword was forced to stab the dirt again and again as he moved.

"Tch!" Jules scoffed and didn't pursue. He waited till the Sniper try to get up to make his next move. "Hah!" Jules kicked the ground and sent the dirt directly at the man.

"Ahh!" Blinded the sniper started to freak out and look around. "please stop! It is obvious you are no bandit."

"Hmm that I am not. Maybe... I killed a noble and took his clothes. You never know." Jules moved around in front slowly to throw the man off. "Tell me though, whats a "pretty boy" Eturian noble doing around these parts?"

"Maybe I killed a noble the same as you." The sniper said. His heart was thumping a mile a minute. 'I cannot cause problems here. I need to find the others. If only I had my quiver.' Taking a few steps he still couldnt see much. He did notice Jules kept moving around out of his direct vision. Blinking rapidly, he could see just a bit more. "What would it take for you to let me go?"

"If you drop your coin purse and the two daggers. Then run to the left and everything will be squared." Jules said with a smirk. "Or you can die, makes no real difference to me. Oh do you know someone named Cecilia?"

"No." The sniper said. he discarded the daggers and his coin purse. In a flash, he made a dash for it. Jules did not pursue as he picked up the daggers and coin purse. 'He cant know of little Cecilia! I have to find the others at once.'

"Score on some gold." Jules smiled. He just received a 1000 gold. compared to what you could find in games at the weirdest of places, this was a god send. Attaching the daggers to his hips, he put the quiver in his inventory. "Can sell that later."

A strange sensation led Jules towards the side of the mountain. Sword at the ready he took off in a dash. A smile already on his lips. Inside, his magic was growing stronger.

-With the sniper-

"Ha..ha..ha there they are." Sliding down the side of the cliff, the sniper was grateful to meet up with the others.

"There he is!" A soldier said. A few other soldiers walked over to help. "Lord Clemmons are you alright?"

"Yes I am fine." The sniper said. He did not stop them from fussing over him. He was quite injured and was hurt additionally by Jules attacks. "How are the others? Where is my wife Karas?"

"We are fine." A young woman said coming over. She had striking blonde hair and had a youthful look about her, while still appearing wise. Behind her, a little girl no more than four was nearby. She looked just like the man Clemmons. Just.. more feminine. "What took you so long?"

"Haa you are fine Karas as well as Cecilia. That is good. We need to leave, someone knows that Cecilia is hear. A Bern noble knows." The others turned serious as they started to pack up to leave.

"How did you escape?" Karas walked over grabbing his hands. "If a Bern noble found you here, they would not stop till you were dead. As well as the rest of us."

"He actually let me go..." Clemmons said. Now that he could think about it, it was strange that he was not pursued in anyway. "He just told me to drop my daggers and coin purse. Told me to run to the left and that was it."

"Then he saved you daddy." Cecilia walked over. Her eyes glazed over and she started to float. The staff in her hand started to glow and showed an image of Jules talking with a little girl before it shattered. "Ugghhh." Cecilia then fainted. Much to the shock of her parents.

"Saint Elimine has left us." A Bishop said. His look was forlorn as he stared at the remains of the staff. "Haaa we must continue our search. The rest of you should return home. It best you focus on your daughter now. You have done Elibe a great service.

"We need to go back home." Karas said. She look to her husband side and noticed the quiver was missing. "Were is it?" She asked pointing.

"Hehe funny story..." Clemmons said.
