"So what can you say about them?" Jules asked as they walked to meet the others.
"Rajin is a rapist and cruel monster. The sword he uses is one he stole from an Ostian noble once. He uses it to... thing to people. He is the youngest of the three. Sajin is the most bloodthirsty among them. He is the one covered in scars with the purple Mohawk. He is the oldest and a senior member of the mountain bandits. Mejin is the .. kindest torturer you will meet." Samara said. Her voice turned low as she spoke next. "He will break your bones and use the herb remedies to make you better. The smile on his face is that of a sick Wyvern.
"Bad people." Sarapa said quietly. Jules and Samara nodded agreeing. The little girl gripped her pitchfork tightly. "Poke and fall back. Keep doing that until they are dead."
"That is correct." Jules said. They were getting closer to the trio. "After this, I will head to the mountain to take care of them. This needs to be my territory only. Samara, you two will tag team Rajin."
"And the others?"
"Mejin will not be a problem. As for Sajin.." Jules raised his sword up, the tome in his hand was held tightly. "..I will practice my sword work with him."
"What the hell do you think you are doing Samara?!" Rajin yelled. He did not even look at Jules. His brothers did though. "Get your ass back here. I have something for you." The man patted the sword on his hip lewdly.
"Humph!" Jules grunted as he fired at Mejin. 'Flux!' The tome glowed with magic and boosted the effects.
"Brrrrr!" Three black spheres wrapped around Mejin before closing. "Verp!" The magic erupted violently against the man's arms and the side of his face.
"Ahhhh!" Mejin screamed. He rolled on the ground in agony. Jules looked at the health, and felt it was about right it did not oneshot the man. His gamble paid off well enough.
"You.." Sajin looked at his disfigured brother in anger. He turned just in time to dodge Jules's sword strike. "Humph! It is not the easy to kill me."
"Ching!" Sajin was no slouch. He moved in for a strike immediately after the dodge. Jules did not dodge. Instead, he reached for the dagger on his hip and gave a thrust to Sajin's hand.
"Fwip!" The axe cut Jules across the chest with a fairly decent amount of damage. "Schlick!" From the angle, the thrust cut across Sajin's hand. Four fingers fell to the ground as well as the axe.
"Ahhh!" Sajin screamed and reached down for his axe with his other hand. He bit through the pain with pure fury. "I will kill you!"
"Woosh!" With an upward swing, he caught nothing but air. Jules had jumped to the side as soon as the bandit reached down. "Damn you!" Sajin turned right as Jules stabbed at his side with the sword.
"Schlick!" Jules left his sword in there and stabbed the man in the eye with the dagger next. "Thump!" Sajin had ducked and caused the dagger to pierce his skull.
"Well damn son... that is just neat." Jules stared at the dagger in awe. It was only an inch deep. "What a thick skull you have." As Jules marveled at the work, Sajin struck with the axe.
"Foolll." Sajin slurred a little. When his axe strike did less damage, he couldnt understand why. "Hoowww?" Jules blocked the next strike with his left arm. The blade cut a little shallow proving his thoughts to be true still. "Yoou monsster."
"Not really, just a little stronger than you still." Jules pushed off and delivered a kick to the man's leg. It barely did a thing. Seeing Sajin swing again, he stopped it with an outstretched fist before it moved to far.
"Foool!" Sajin slurred. Jules's knuckle was barely cut however. A quick look at his health and he saw it barely moved. "You are sturddyyy. Would havvve sold well. Good moneyy." His speech was getting worse.
"Nah. I would make a really bad slave. I have so many issues. Most likely beaten to death the first day." Jules said. His face twisted into a sneer as he noticed Samara bashed her axe against the other one. "I can not let them finish before me."
"Pbblt!" Jules grabbed the dagger and his sword, giving them both a twist at the same time. "Thump!" Sajin dropped to the ground dead. With a flick of his sword, Jules chopped the man's head off. The orbs leaving quickly into Jules.
"Neat." Jules said as the experience passed over some memories. He turned to the others and watched them hold off Rajin before finishing him off. 'The level difference, my defense stat, weapon triangle advantage, this armor played a good part. The pain was there, but Health itself plays a big part. Glad I was right after replaying the gba game a little more.'
"Hiyah!" Sarada yelled. She stabbed the pitchfork into Rajin's throat. Samara had the man in a death grip from behind. Her axe was on the ground broken.
"Kuff! Hehehe killed by a bitch and a brat. Hehehe perfect!" Rajin said his final words. His head lulled and the experience orbs went into the others.
"Good work." Jules said with a smile. He turned to Mejin and watched as the man continued to crawl away. "You are not allowed to leave." Grabbing him by the ankles, Jules dragged the bandit back to the others. Samara picked up the dropped axe and equipped it. 'What is that?'
Sarapa Level 5 ??? (Maxed)
if things would go like the way of Fire Emblem Sacred Stones, she would be able to class change on the next map. Hopefully, that was not the case. It would defintely make things weird. Maybe he just needed to return to the house for it to happen.
Amelia was on the ground exhausted. Her Heal staff was broken from overuse. Her shield had more cracks in it than anything. Sojin looked relatively ok, and his sword was fine as well. Darian was still standing diligently on watch. Tara was hovering over the other two.
Amelia Level 4 Acolyte, Sojin Level 3 Myrimdon. Amelia had gained three levels, while Sojin gained only one. Tara walked over to Jules after Samara took her place. She leaned close to whisper to him.
"The boy barely listened. He spent most of the time watching the fight between each of you. he mumbled some comments about Amelia that you should know." Tara voice turned even lore as she spoke. She told Jules everything that happened.
"If not for Darian and Amelia trying so hard, I think things could have gone bad." Tara spoke quickly and kept nothing from Jules. Something compelled her to speak honestly. "I think he is up to something. He has no real care for Amelia."
"I see. Since we do not have a staff for her to train with anymore, nothing to be done. Good work. You did really well." Jules walked passed and dropped the other bandit next to the other two. "Here Amelia, use this and kill those two first." He passed her the dagger to use.
"Gulp.. do I have to?" She asked slightly scared. "I never killed anyone before." Tara was to busy enjoying the level u from completing the quest Jules gave her. She read over the part about Sjoin and pouted a little. But the exp from Amelia more than covered up for it.
"That is why you need to do this even more so." Jules said. He showed where to stab for a quick death. As well as the place to stab for a slow death. "It is your choice how they die."
"I understand.." Amelia gripped the dagger tightly. It shook and rattled from her nerves and how tight she held it. "I can do this.. I can do this.."
"You can do this." Jules squatted right next to her. Eye level as she moved closer. "Tell yourself whatever you have to. Whatever it takes to get through this. Ending his life is just another means to an end."
"Schlick!" The dagger cut right through the man's neck. "Thuck!" She then stabbed him the heart." Feeling the blood on her hands, Amelia started to throw up.
"Urrrp!" Her puke landed all over the bandit. He died humiliated. The other two watched in fury. As the orbs floated into Amelia, she got up on shaky legs. "Just one more."
"No, that is good enough." Jules grabbed her by the waist and pulled her back. "Go inside an cleanup. There is a lot to do. Sojin, take care of the other two."
"I do not want to." Sojin said. "They are helpless to do anything." Jules nostrils flared at the stupidy of the boy. Sojin looked back defiant. "I am not a murderer!" Jules walked over to him slowly.
"Smack!" He smacked him across the face so hard, the boy slid 30 feet to the side. "Thump!" He rolled in the dirt before stopping.
"Are you dumb? Did you forget they were going to sell you three? What do you think would have happened if I did not interfere?" Jules felt a wave of building anger inside him. Images played out exactly what would have happened to the three. 'This class is giving me possible visions now? Or I might just be letting my imagination run wild.'
"That is no excuse." Sojin said getting up.
"Oh and when you attempted to attack me, was that not attempted murder?"
"I just wanted to knock you out!" Sojin said. "I would not have killed you."
"Right.. just left me out cold. In the mountains where bandits were looking for you three." Jules said. "As if they would not sell or kill me either." Jules stared at the boy. "You are a little monster arent you? One of those little psychos."
"I am psycho? How do you figure?" Sojin asked.
"Hmm, no matter." Jules just wanted to say that before he looked at the other two. "Samara, Darian, finished them off." Darian took them both out quickly. Samara was clutching her side injured. "You should have said something. I will prepare some herbs for that."
A few orbs enter Jules and he received info about a large bandit group that would make there way down in three days. They were going to raid all the towns and sell the people and all the valuables they could find.
(Bandits have gotten word of the unrest in Caelin. The leader Grizzbran is moving all bandits across the area to take over.)
(Level Up 1)
"Rest well, we move to attack the bandits later today." Jules ordered. He moved to the house. Samara following behind.
Tara walked with Amelia consoling her. Darian remained outside and disposed of the bodies. Of course, he looted them first. A few golds and a bottle of antitoxin to help tide them over.
Jules had pulled out six of the herbs. Grounding them up into paste, he applied it to the wound. Afterwards, he placed a fresh herb on the outside to help. With Samara moving around sweating, it would stimulate the herbs even more. As Samara wrapped everything up tightly, Jules spent his stat points and tried to figure out how to trigger the others Class Change without the map feature.
"Thank you. I will go and see if there is anything to salvage from the other houses." Samara left quickly. She did not trust Jules might change his mind and do something else to her instead.
"Ok." Jules said quietly. He logged off to the dashboard.
"Beep beep!" He received an email about the tea time. It was rescheduled until later. Which was not really a concern. Checking the other messages, he saw the dlc. With a quick download, he was pissed that he missed it.
(Realm of Trials: Access 5 times a day. Allows training as well as items. Dive down furthur to uncover secrets. Death reduces level and drops stats by 15% for a day.)
"Reminds me of the Tower of Valni from Sacred Stones. Time to use it. Guess I am going ELite for awhile." Jules logged back in after replying.
