Volume 1 “Unspoken Summer”. Tells the story of love and self-discovery between Ellie and Bella, two women who must fight in a world that still largely opposes same-sex love. Set in the 2000s, when LGBTQ was still considered taboo and not fully accepted by society, they find comfort and courage in loving each other amidst the fear of rejection. In Volume 1, we will witness how they grow, face their fears, and struggle to find their place in the world, despite what others may think of them. It’s a story about finding strength within oneself and each other, even as the outside world remains full of prejudice. Volume 2 and Volume 3 will introduce new characters and new stories, but will remain focused on the theme of love between women, taking readers deeper into a world that hasn’t been widely explored, with the hope of providing broader representation for the LGBTQ community, particularly for women who love women.
