"You look in good condition, did you find the bed comfortable? I brought it straight from the capital" These are the first words of the man dressed as a samurai.
"Who are you?" Izumi says, trying to contain her nervousness.
"A messenger from God"
"...Really?" the young woman tries to say without being disrespectful.
"In a way, yes. But leaving that aside, I need a few things from you"
"You won't get anything from me. I won't betray my village. It doesn't matter if you torture me"
"Hahaha, I'm not interested in information about your village, not in the least, and you in particular shouldn't talk to me about treason. After all, your clan is about to launch a coup in the village"
"What are you talking about?" The young woman says, not believing anything the man says.
"That is the reason you are here, your clan plans to carry out a coup d'état and take control of Konoha. Maybe adults have tried to keep the information away from younger people, but it's the truth. Very soon that will happen, or at least that's what your clan believes"
"Are you crazy? That's never going to happen. Manipulation won't work with me"
"The Hokage knows, Danzo knows, and the council suspects it. Your friend Itachi is the one who told them"
Izumi's face fills with horror as she hears the man's last words, but he doesn't stop and continues.
"You have been able to feel the discontent of the clan with the village authorities. A civil war is imminent, but that cannot happen, as it would mean the end of Konoha. The other hidden villages wouldn't waste such an opportunity"
The young woman sits up in bed, still surprised and unsure of what she's hearing. The man takes a chair in the corner of the room and sits across from her.
"I don't know very well when it will happen, but it will happen. Your clan will be annihilated before the insurrection occurs"
"That's not true, it's impossible for that to happen. Itachi… I don't believe you, that won't happen" Izumi says in a defiant voice.
"What you believe, what I believe, it's all irrelevant. We'll all know in due time. Now, what I need from you is a small experiment, with your Sharingan in particular"
"The secrets of my clan cannot be revealed" the young woman interrupts decisively.
"I know almost all of your clan's secrets, things that even you don't. I remind you that I also have your partner Yuina. Perhaps she's more cooperative than you? I really have no intention of harming either of you, but I can be very persuasive when I need to"
"Where is she? What happened to the others?" Izumi asks a little nervously.
"She is fine, she is still sleeping, your other companions are also fine, although since they are not Uchiha, their treatment will not be the same as yours. Depending on how helpful you are, that's how I'll end up treating you all"
"Bastard!"
"I'll be honest with you, the last thing I want is to hurt you. In fact, I kidnapped you to save you from a horrible fate. You may not see it that way, but I'm doing it in part to preserve a fragment of your clan. And before you ask, no, I can't save your entire clan, nor can I tell them about the impending attack. I'm not strong enough to stop it, nor will I be responsible for a civil war"
They both remained silent for a few moments, he staring at her and she staring at the floor.
"The only thing I can assure you is that the help I ask of you does not reveal any of the secrets of your clan, nor am I going to ask you for information about the village. We could say that it is just a small payment for what I am doing for you" The man finishes saying.
Izumi doesn't respond and simply stares down, as if searching for answers in the cracks in the floor, or in her toes. The man, for his part, leaves the room and closes the door again.
…
[Touki]
The moment of truth is approaching. Touki can feel it in the air every time he looks at the faces of the Uchiha clan members, a subtle nervousness and paranoia that's impossible to hide.
Fortunately, the kidnapping of Izumi's team didn't attract much attention, as it's common for a team to occasionally fail a mission, no matter how easy it seems. But the Uchiha clan's reaction was equally noticeable, forbidding its members from leaving the village for the time being, ruining Touki's plans to capture more individuals.
Izumi was very uncooperative at first, but after a few days without food, coupled with Touki's constant insistence that all he wanted was for the young woman to use her genjutsus to test some artifacts, she eventually relented, on the condition that she could reunite with Yuina.
Both girls ended up locked in the basement of a castle, belonging to one of the samurai that Touki trusts the most.
The experiments involved testing masks capable of interfering with anything chakra-related, but Touki has never been able to test them against genjutsus, especially those performed through the Sharingan. The man already has a similar program in his armor, but it has never been used in combat.
Izumi represents the perfect opportunity to test and perhaps optimize everything designed for defense against genjutsus, especially if we think that she has a three-tomoe Sharingan.
The results were highly satisfactory. Using volunteer samurai, Izumi's attacks went from being effective without the masks to completely ineffective with them on. Although, if Izumi really wanted to, the masks could last less than a minute before they ran out of energy, and much less if the young woman managed to make eye contact.
In the end, it all came down to power and energy, requiring the artifacts to store much more energy if they were to defend against more powerful genjutsus, though with no guarantees. Touki's programs are not yet at the level of being able to infallibly deal with high-level mental attacks, but perhaps only holding out for a few seconds is necessary to be able to use other methods to deal with it. The man is capable of working wonders with the few resources at his disposal.
After the experiments, Touki promised Izumi the good treatment of her comrades and allowed Yuina to stay with her, but refused her pleas for release. He will only be able to try to convince her of something once the clan massacre is carried out.
Touki has been unable to find a way to find out the date of the Uchiha massacre without having to kidnap one of the few who know, including Itachi, which he refuses to do, so he had no choice but to find a way to monitor the clan 24 hours a day.
The man had to use all his ingenuity to develop the crudest of possible plans. He created special sensors that detect chakra levels in the environment and trigger a remote alarm in another device when the levels get too high. The principle is simple, but the problem is that Touki must stay at a certain distance and monitor them at all times. A problem that forced him to spend every evening at home, unable to leave the room where the sensors are located.
Touki has placed three sensors disguised as stones, two on the perimeter of the Uchiha district, very close to several homes, and one hidden inside the police station. He knows very well that both Itachi and Obito will attack simultaneously using all kinds of jutsus, triggering the sensors, and when that happens, he will be able to intervene in between to try to obtain some benefits.

Touki isn't afraid of the attackers, knowing he can retreat at any time. Furthermore, both are known for holding back their best attacks and will be severely limited within Konoha. The only thing that worries him is the two Uchiha's ocular powers, so he's prepared something very special in case he has to defend himself against one of them. Now he just has to hope the sensors work.
