The jungle was thick with mist and the buzzing of insects, but Zairon walked as if the world itself parted for him.
The Gate shimmered in the distance—pulsing with a deep crimson glow. Marked on the ancient hunter maps as a C-Rank Gate, it was one of the highest-risk locations accessible to mid-level hunters.
"Perfect."
He smirked, brushing aside a giant leaf as he stepped into a clearing—only to pause mid-step.
There were three women standing near the entrance to the Gate.
Each of them radiated strength.
One held a silver bow crackling with electricity, her cloak swaying even in still air.
Another had twin daggers and eyes sharp as blades—silent, deadly, poised.
The third wore a flowing black robe, her hands glowing with spiritual energy—clearly a healer, but her presence was anything but soft.
And more importantly—
They were all beautiful.
Zairon's mind spun with wild thoughts.
"This must be fate. The Sovereign God needs beauties beside him, after all. Of course the Gate gave me three. The universe is too kind."
He adjusted his expression into one of pure innocence, dropped his shoulders, and approached like a lost puppy.
"Hey! Uhm—sorry to intrude. I saw the Gate and thought maybe I could join? I'm just a struggling E-Rank trying to get some EXP."
The archer narrowed her eyes. "This place isn't for newbies."
The rogue flipped her dagger. "He'll die in five minutes."
The healer stepped forward and gave him a once-over. "...He's cute. Let's bring him."
"Bless you, healer waifu," Zairon thought as his inner voice exploded with joy.
"Today's gonna be a fun hunt."
He smiled weakly. "I'll stay out of your way, promise."
"For now."
Because deep down, Zairon wasn't here just to flirt.
He was here to learn—observe their fighting styles, their synergy, their techniques…
And when the time came—
To outshine them all.
