The first strike was swift and terrifying.
Flameguard Assassins, led by Lin, vanished into shadow and reappeared within the enemy walls, cutting down guards before alarms could sound.
In the next second, the sky rained glowing arrows as the Violet Moon Archers unleashed a coordinated volley. Screams echoed as the Ice Serpent Clan scattered in panic.
Sylar raised one hand and activated a summon token.

From the enemy base, a freezing blizzard exploded outward.
"An Ice Element Elder is activating a domain!" Yue shouted.
A tall man with long, silver-white hair rose from the center of the clan, surrounded by floating ice blades.
"Who dares invade the Ice Serpent's land?! I am Clan Elder Beihong, and I—"
Before he could finish, a chain of fire sliced through the air and nearly burned his arm off.
"Shut up," Lin growled, leaping from the shadows with her dual daggers glowing red.
A high-speed battle erupted between Lin and Elder Beihong, fire clashing with frost. Lin was fast, slicing through attacks like wind, but the elder's domain slowed everything around him.
That's when Sylar joined the fight.

Feixue, at his side, smirked. "You mean your pleasure hall."
"I multitask," he replied.

Two of the surrendered Ice Serpent women, both pale-haired and beautiful, kneeled before him.
"We pledge ourselves to you… my lord," they whispered, cheeks flushed, bodies trembling with anticipation and fear.
The system glowed brightly.

"Soon," Sylar said, watching his growing army train in the frost-lit courtyard, "we'll be more than a guild."
Yue looked over the map. "More than a sect."
Feixue wrapped her arms around his back. "More than an empire."
Sylar smiled.
"A myth. A legend. A nightmare."
