Samantha dragged herself into her room.Thank goodness some the maids were around to relieve her of her load when she came in.
" I need water," she sighed. One of the maids moved to get the water for her, but she stopped her. " No, no, no. Andrea, don't bother. I'll get it myself. I'm sure you must be tired from today's work, by the way, "

" I am alright, Your majesty," Andrea replied." No, I insist, go back to your room and rest,"
" But your Majes...."
" I insist."
Andrea finally surrendered and said, " Alright, my Ladyship. I will leave now. "

Sam got up and moved to the kitchen. The royal kitchen is a great and grand structure in Vandamore's castle.The royal kitchen is filled with various aromatic and rare species of spices. The royal chef, Sarah, was a fairy. She was a very kind and generous person. Samnatha loved Sarah so much. Sarah was always the one who made cupcakes and snacks for Sam at midnight. Anytime she was being punished by her aunt, Queen Alex, and her punishment was starvation.
Sarah would make delicious, mouth-watering cupcakes just with a flicker of her wand, which was a surprisingly old as her and then she'd sneak them into Samantha's room.
Sometimes Sarah would stay for a while in Sam's room to talk with her and provide company.
Samantha walked into the kitchen and saw the one person who could spoil her day, Rosella. Rosella was making tea from hibiscus leaves. She had the gift of nature. She could create trees, flowers, and even gardens just with a flicker of her delicate fingers.Rosella, truly, is one beautiful lady, but she was a biting dog under a princess gown.
Sam wondered why Rosella was making tea herself instead of sending one of her servants as she usually does.
" Samantha," Rosella called upon sighting Sam, " How good to see you," She said sarcastically, " How was your day with the large-muscled-sword-swinging-sweaty-pigs
Sam rolled her eyes, " I had a great day with the large pigs who if not for they protecting you, your enemies would have snuck up to you at night and strangled you to death" She demonstrated strangling with her fingers, ...like me". She reached for a glass cup.
Rosella quickly grabbed the cup with one of those green limbs she created with her magic. " Oops, sorry, but I'm going to be needing that."
" That's mine," Sam groaned, " Get your green limbs off my cup."
Rosella gasped mockingly. " Oh my. I never knew it was yours. Is your name stamped on it?"
" You do not need a galss cup for tea. Get a mug. I reached for it first, " Sam groaned
"And I got it first,"
Sam sighed in frustration, " Just take your tea and leave me alone, tree limbs?"
" Yes, I will. Just a few more minutes, ordinary being."
" What is it now?" Sam rolled her eyes in frustration
" It's nothing much. I just wanted to let you know that I would be getting married to Prince Lucas of Audinburgh very soon. It's just a matter of time."
" Pfft," Sam smirked." I bet you don't even know him. This is just going to be like one of those failed planned marriage right?. "
" Shut up, Sam."
" So tell me," Sam smirked, " Are you going to run away this time, or you're going to create a green monster to scare your suitor away just like you did the last one?"
" Shut up, Sam." Rosella was getting pissed already.
" Look, Rosella. You don't even know who this man is and you want to get married to him. Get your head straight, flower girl. "
" I don't need advice from you, Samantha. I've always made my decisions on my own. I.." she was cut off when someone came in.
