Chapter 1 - Did My Type-Moon Game Become Reality?

Tap, tap, tap...

In a dimly lit room, a young man leisurely tapped on his keyboard.

The glow from the computer screen illuminated his rather handsome face.

And as he was looking, a special interface popped up on the screen.

[ENEMY KILLED]

Seeing the notification on the screen, the young man couldn't help but smile with satisfaction.

"...Finally, I've cleared all the CGs.

That wasn't easy."

Alvin had been pulling all-nighters for nearly three days now.

On the first day, when he received that mysterious package, he was filled with skepticism.

After all, the package contained a USB drive, inside of which was a small game called Playful Type-Moon.

At first, he thought, *Are game ads this advanced now?*

He hadn't even spent any money yet, and they were already sending him a USB drive, delivered right to his doorstep.

But when he opened the game, Alvin was stunned.

Thousands of unique character illustrations, countless intricate branching storylines, beautifully crafted dungeons, and special CGs unlocked as character affection levels increased... The immersion of this game was simply unparalleled.

Some of the special CG animations were particularly worth revisiting.

For example, Morgan le Fay in the Bathroom with Alvin, or Artoria in the Office, and so on...

Even now, Alvin would occasionally open the "CG Gallery" to admire them.

As for what exactly these CGs contained, well let's not go into detail here.

After all, those with high moral standards probably wouldn't care to know.

In any case, to unlock these special CGs and achievements, he had been grinding through the game for the past three days.

If it weren't for the fact that he was in a place called the Clock Tower and had access to a special potion to keep him going, he would have probably passed out from exhaustion by now.

Click.

As he moved the mouse across the computer interface, Alvin lightly tapped the keyboard, his eyes fixed intently on the screen.

[You have obtained a special achievement: Camelot's Night Watchman]

When this window popped up on the screen, Alvin finally let out a long sigh of relief.

Yes... After three days of intense gameplay and navigating countless complex choices, he had finally achieved a special hidden achievement.

[Camelot's Night Watchman.]

Originally, the main objective of this stage was for Alvin, as the antagonist, to destroy the Camelot Empire and bring an end to the Age of Gods.

However, in order to obtain the special hidden CGs and achievements, he chose another bad ending.

This ending wasn't about destroying Camelot.

Instead, the player had to first max out the affection levels of characters like Morgan le Fay and Artoria first, then pretend to accept Morgan's temptation, join forces with her to stage a rebellion, and defeat King Arthur.

At the end of the story, the player would descend upon Britain in the form of a "Demon Dragon."

At this point, there were two choices: one was to assist Morgan le Fay in defeating King Arthur.

The other was to sacrifice oneself to ensure King Arthur's victory.

Alvin chose the latter.

First, he would draw the hatred of the entire empire, and then Artoria would sever that hatred, becoming the beloved and revered "King Arthur."

If only he could wear a mask, Alvin would have definitely given himself one and taken on the name "Zero."

Because it was perfect... Absolutely flawless!

Such a perfect way to clear the game—even now, as Alvin thought about the plot he had experienced in the game, he couldn't help but feel a lingering sense of satisfaction.

Just as Alvin moved his mouse and began humming a cheerful tune...

Knock, knock.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.

"Alvin, the afternoon class for the Mineralogy Department is about to start. Don't be late again."

Following that, a lazy yet pleasant female voice came from outside the door.

"I'll be right there. You go ahead to class, Reines," Alvin called out without turning around.

After a moment as the sound of footsteps outside gradually faded away and his eyes couldn't help but show a hint of emotion.

To be honest, when he first crossed over into the Type-Moon world and became a student at the Clock Tower, he was filled with despair.

After all, he knew all too well how dangerous this world was, with magis everywhere and the occasional Holy Grail War breaking out.

'But with the mindset of "since I'm here, I might as well make the best of it," Alvin eventually settled into this world.

There were still fifteen minutes before class started.

'Before heading to class, why not take one last look at the special CG I have just unlocked...'

With that thought in his mind, Alvin clicked on the "CG Gallery" button, and a series of beautiful yet indescribable images filled the screen.

Among them was the latest unlocked CG: The Witch's Regret.

Morgan le Fay, with her long hair cascading down and a crown on her head, held a glass of red wine as she slumped on the throne, with a dazed expression.

The red wine trickled down her snow-white, slender legs, staining her delicate feet under her dress with a crimson glow.

Her small, red lips were tightly pursed, and her gaze as she looked out from the screen was filled with confusion and loss.

Even through the screen, such an exquisite scene was enough to spark the imagination...

"Should I say, as expected of the Queen? Tsk, those thighs, that outrageous chest... so beautiful, hehehe..."

Tick... tock...

The clock on the wall ticked forward.

Just as Alvin was about to click on the CG image, a window suddenly popped up on the computer screen:

[You have triggered the special storyline 'Death of the White Dragon.' You will gain an absolutely immersive experience and embark on a brief yet wonderful new life.]

[Agree/Decline]

"I've already collected all the CGs. How is there still DLC...?"

Seeing the notification on the screen, Alvin was stunned for a moment, a flicker of confusion in his eyes.

Driven by curiosity, he moved the mouse and clicked the "Agree" button.

Thud.

In an instant, it felt as though his brain had been struck by a powerful force.

Alvin's vision spun, and everything went dark.

With a dull thud, he collapsed onto the desk, his consciousness rapidly fading.

Then, after just a few seconds, his consciousness began to slowly reawaken...

When Alvin opened his eyes, the first thing he saw wasn't his surroundings but a special deep blue countdown timer.

Countdown: [42:59:59]

At the same time, a system prompt quietly appeared before his eyes.

[After your departure, Artoria and Morgan le Fay became estranged.

The corrupted Morgan le Fay left Camelot alone, seeking a way to resurrect you.]

[You have triggered a special storyline: Camelot After Alvin's Death.]

Boom!

As Alvin read the system notification, his mind felt as though it had been struck by a thunderous blow, leaving him in a daze.

And while he was still in a state of confusion, the countdown ticked forward once more.

Remaining time: 42:59:58...
