{Timeskip - for the thousandth time}
Luke opened his eyes and recalled what had happened, 'so that was what the awakening feels like,' Luke thought, as he felt his chest and touched the spot where the core went in. He felt the core beat as it radiated power 'That's weird, I haven't cultivated yet. How did I get power already?' He thought as he immediately said "Status"
[ Name: Luke Wayne
Affinity: Power (Tier-9)
Skill: Ergokinesis (SSS-Rank)
Rank: Apprentice (F)
Titles: Reincarnator, The Perfect Being, Balance Breaker
Existence: 700]
"Holy shit" Luke gapped at his status, especially at his titles and Existence. 'Affinity and skill are explanatory. Meanwhile, Rank is the level of your power; a higher rank always wins unless the other person has a close rank and a lot of buffs. It goes from Apprentice, Adept, master, Grandmaster, Saint, King, Emperor, Ascendant, Transcendent, and each of the ranks is divided from F to S. Finally, Titles are achievements that offer passive boosts and increase existence level. The universe itself grants them, while Existence Level is your impact on the world. It is mostly ignored since no one knows what to do with them.' Luke thought in amazement, he checked his titles first as he tapped on each of them.
[ Title: Reincarnator
Description: You are a reincarnator from a different universe.
Effect: As a reincarnator, your soul is stronger than most beings in the universe, making you delight to any demonic race. Also, you get one additional life if you are ever to be killed, as death loves you too much to take you away from life.]
[Title: The Perfect Being
Description: You are a perfect being, someone who naturally has the highest tier and skill, not only that, but you have intelligence and beauty on top of it.
Effect: Charisma increased, chance to acquire Ruler's Aura.
[Title: Balance Breaker
Description: You broke the balance of the world, and the chains of fate failed to bind you.
Effect: You are resistant to fate. Everything you touch becomes unpredictable, your future can't be guessed, Time can't touch you. You partially exist outside of the world.]
'How the fuck did I get this op titles from? The worst one here is the reincarnator which gives me a life, only reason it is not the best it because now I have to save my soul from every demon in the fucking world' Luke marveled at his status and said sumgly "Well, As expected of the future strongest being. I guess this is as to be expected."
Just then, Samuel came into the room, his green eyes found me, and he immediately kneeled and said, "My lord, the duke requests your presence." Luke raised an eyebrow as he said
"Samuel, we have been friends since when did you kneel in front of me?"
"Well, I didn't expect my childhood friend to be an SSS-rank skill and tier 9 affinity holder," Samuel replied jokingly as he got up from the ground. He then turned serious as he said, "About the Duke, his face seems to show some emotion when he passed you to me."
Luke stayed silent for a while and then said, "I don't care, if he wants to show love now after all that has happened, then I must inform him that it's too late and his son doesn't care anymore."
Samuel stayed silent and sighed heavily before saying, "As a friend, I support you in every decision you make, but I, as a third party, at least want you to not hate the duke." Luke just nodded and got up from his place and walked over to his wardrobe, which looked more like a room than anything. He chose a more dignified yet still comfortable look with a long coat, and white plain t-shirt, and black cargo pants. His modern looks were thanks to his favorite item in this whole universe, the soul contract.
He used it to build a fashion business here, basically the same formula as the tech company. Find a modern equivalent of a fashion business and then force him into a sla–I mean soul contract and explain to him the jest. Then, trial and error until you get it, this business raked him more coins than even his tech company since the clothes he produced are cheap and comfortable for even the common folks.
After wearing the clothes, Luke went to meet his father in the office. He had to go a long way, during which Samuel and Luke chatted most of their time, and when they finally arrived before the doors crafted from elven trees. Samuel pushed it forward and went sideways and let Luke go in, there behind a desk made of gold sitting on a chair which is also made of gold was Luke's father, Damion Wayne.
His wrinkled face and white hair did nothing to stop that man from still looking sharp as hell, his jawline was something Luke wanted to inherit. You could cut a diamond with a jawline like that, but enough on that, as Luke came in with hands behind his back, he said, "My lord, you asked for me?"
Damion looked at Luke for a second, his eyes still dead but he said, "Yes, I saw you awakened a perfect awakening. Congratulations, what are your plans?"
"I plan to train here for a while, then attend the Dolarus. After which I plan to explore the world and conquer the 4 unbeatable dungeons." Luke said, Damion closed his eyes as if contemplating something before saying
"Your mother has fixed your engagement with the royal princess of the empire when you two were just born. Do what you will with this information." Luke was shocked at this fact, the royal princess was the daughter of the emperor and empress. Not to mention, she was said to be beautiful enough to make Aphrodite jealous of her. Marrying her would be anyone's dream, but for Luke, this was a nightmare.
'Just when I locked in on leaving everything behind and chasing power, my oh so kind father pulls up ancient records or whatever. Now, I am stuck in a hard place since breaking the engagement will be equivalent to admitting that something is a flaw in the opposite family.' Luke's thoughts swirled, and his business acumen also clicked in, 'Wait, since I am the emperor's son-in-law so I could influence the law of the empire to create a banking empire.' Luke thought of the profits and power it would bring as he quickly forgot about his previous plans.
