Chapter 7 - 7

At night, I sat on the sofa, stunned.

Since I made those calls, I had successively found the contact information of the parents of the two friends who had lost contact.

Noah Wilson and Oliver Smith had also passed away.

These were my four best childhood friends.

After junior high school, we left our hometown, some went to the provincial capital, and some moved to the south.

Now, without exception, they had all died within two years, and the details of the cases had all been kept private.

I didn't have time to grieve, and I found a police friend to inquire about the news. After confirming my relationship with several of the deceased, the friend finally agreed.

He reviewed the electronic files, and then sighed in the phone, "No wonder, it's a really terrible case."

The friend paused, "All four of the deceased were skinned alive."

I couldn't help but clench my phone.

"Okay, thank you."

I hung up the phone and stared at the dark night outside the window, and my face was faintly reflected on the window.

I found myself smiling.

I couldn't tell if it was a bitter smile or a sneer.

That female ghost wasn't just targeting me, she was trying to wipe out the few children from back then.

She had been targeting me for a long time! And she wasn't even prepared to let me go!

After figuring this out, I took out all the tape and gauze in the house, and wrapped myself up tightly for two hours.

Then, before going to bed, I took the powder given by Father Michael O'Connell.

I looked at myself in the mirror, and gave a middle finger to the air, not knowing if the female ghost was still in the room, or if she could see me.

But since this female ghost was clinging to me, and since she had brutally killed my childhood friends.

Regardless of what deep hatred she had in her life, I had no room for compromise now!

I gave a middle finger, and sneered at the empty bedroom in the mirror: "Don't be so pleased with yourself, I'm not that easy to kill."

Fuck you!
