Xavier who stood at the back of the door was shocked by the sudden revelation of truth. But he didn't want to do anything just yet because he peeped and saw his father holding a gun. But then, heard a gunshot, he barged into the room without thinking about the consequences.

Then I'll use your wife and youngest son to blackmail them to sign the documents for everything to be in my possession. And the next CEO will be BENARD DRAVEN WITH HIS HEIR, JASON DRAVEN" Benard exclaimed whiles laughing like a maniac.

" Wow! Like father, like son they say. Even a blind man can see the bond between you two. But as you can see, I don't have time for all these drama. Just say your last wish and let's proceed" Benard exclaimed but didn't give time to the duo before he fired three bullets at Xavier.
" Nooooooooo" David screamed and used his last bit of energy to block the impending bullets aimed at his son . Xavier was so shocked that, he could barely register what just happened.
"Daaaaaaad" Xavier shouted after coming out from his shocked state. But his father's breathing has already turned shallow.
David uttered his last words in a tone only his son can hear."Xavier, I love you and our family soo much. Take care of them. You are strong on your own and don't just trust anybody. BE CAREFUL. I have placed a document in the safety lock.
In that written documents contains the contents of my will and your succession of the company when I'm dead. "But Dad, you know I have no skills in this aspect. I don't even know if I can take care of or family" Xavier said in a sniffing voice. " I trust you Xavier. You have to believe in yourself and you'll rise to the highest level"murmured David and took his last breath.
" If you've finished listening to the secret, then I have to finish you off too" said Ben amusingly and continued talking "But, I'll give you a second chance for you to listen to the remaining secrets in the Netherworld. But in the mean time, you have to die Xavier.
He targeted Xavier about to shoot but then heard the sound of a police siren and escaped briskly. When the family of four arrived home, their house was surrounded by police ,ambulance and what they were met with shocked them to the core.
Xavier was sitting in a pool of blood and a dead person's head on his lap in which they came to realize to be the Master of the house. The family cried till there was no tears to shed. They prepared the funeral the next day but Xavier didn't speak to his family or give statements to the police.
He vowed that, he would take revenge . He didn't tell his family because, he knew they would stop his thirst for vengeance because of his safety.
He was calm like nothing had happened to his father and told his family that, he'll start work the next day with the assistance of his father's assistant and lawyer in other to assist the family like he promised.
So, a twenty year old carried all these burden and traumatic events all by himself. From that day, he had insomnia. He couldn't so as much as close his eyes without having a nightmare of that night.
That was what he passed through since that day and he is now 27 years. He has been managing the company affairs for the last seven years perfectly alongside his two best friends, Marcus and Lucas who came from a military background.
