On their way back home Krishna and Karunakar hadn't looked at each other. Aparna just kept talking and krishna nodded , karunakar occasionally replied. Aparna ''let's drop krishna off first, Brother. You can head to your work from there and I have some work on my to home.'' Karunakar ''How come you have work every where you go? Are you sure you are not lying to me so you can fool around to your wish.?''with his face full of question marks. Krishna turned towards Aparna with a dubious look. Aparna '' Krishna , don't look at me like that. I really swear I've gotta do something.'' ,looking at her brother and Krishna alternatively trying so hard to convince them with her face. '' Brother, trust me on this. I won't wander around and go to home as soon as I finish the work.''Aparna continued, looking like she was about to cry. Karunakar'' don't cry. Idiot. I am just messing with you. Be careful on your way back and tell our mother that I will be arriving a little later than usual. Make sure to eat properly and rest early.''
Hearing this Aparna face instantly lit up as if her sorrowful face was an act . Karunakar let out a sigh as if realising he cannot win against his sister's sad face once again.
As they were talking they reached Krishna's house, they split up from there in their respective directions.
Krishna went into her house welcomed by aunt Kasthuri with a sweet smile over her face. Krishna'' aunt, am I late? Did father already leave'' asked as she looked around searching for muthyalaiah. ''No no.. You aren't. Temple is far from here. I'm surprised you came back earlier than expected. Your father'd just left to the farm.He asked me to tell you he will come early in the afternoon.''aunt kasthuri replied walking towards yard to water the plants. Krishna walked towards her room recalling the events that happened earlier.
She sat over a wooden bench in her room looking at her left hand which was held by karunakar earlier. She covered her face with both palms shaking her head violently in disbelief by remembering herself calling him Karna right to his face ,making muffled noises. Her eyes got moistened as she recalled karunakar cupping her face and gently wiping her tears. She placed her forefinger and middle finger gently rubbing over her forehead where she can still feel tingling sensation from karunakar kiss. She immediately closed her eyes from embarrassment. Despite everything, she felt happy about their short and blissful moment they had earlier..... she got up of the bench as she heard aunt kasthuri calling her. She changed her silk saree into comfortable half saree and placed her ornaments in a secured place and went to aunt kasthuri to help her watering yard and planting new ones.....
Same is happening with karuakar.
As he left krishna at her home, and made sure krishna and Aparna left the place, he immediately ran ... to the place where he was holding krishna's hand.He ran and ran and reached the place in no time and as he arrived, he leaned against the tree under which they were sitting earlier.

At Siva home... karunakar '' Siva ... Sivaa.. come out.''called ot loudly. A person in his early 20's appeared at the main door'' don't call for me from here. Just come inside.'' Siva replied smacking karunkar's shoulder so hard. 'Uh..' involuntary sound escaped karunakar's mouth, gently rubbing the shoulder he was smacked on '' Siva , I can't come to field tommorrow. There will be two people coming to replough the land. Guide them.'' Siva nodded okay ,'' and what is the reason for your absence?'' aksed with winking his right eye and leaning towards him with a playful attitude. Karunakar replied '' temple...'' Siva as if understood something '' are you going with Krishna?''asked curiously. Karunakar just nodded and added '' Aparna too''. Siva placed his right arm over karunakar's shoulder '' listen brother, you better not slip this oppurtunity. Make sure to tell her.''
Karunakar ''I don't know when i can be honest with her.!'' Sighed. ''Don't worry. You will definitely get a chance tommorrow. Make sure to hold it tight.'' Siva reassured karunakar with an encouraging smile....

He looked at the place where they sat earlier and looked at both of his plams placed together infront of his eyes in disbelief. As he reminiscing, he remembered Krishna calling him KARNA.... with a sad and longing voice but filled with something else , he experienced the same feeling now as he felt then. Karna .... karnaaa...karnaa.. voice of krishna calling his in a name kept ringing in his ears. He felt exhilarated, and gently tracing his lips with his forefinger...

''MORON'', ''HOW CAN YOU LOOK AT HER NOW.???'', ''THINK A LITTLE BEFORE YOU ACT.....'' cursed himself out of embarrassment ..... smacking his head from both sides with his hands with feeling of frustration. He looked at his palms which held krishna's face so gently as not to cause any dicomfort to her, his face became red and heat rushed to his head and neck. He really felt happy as he looked at those palms and was very happy to hear 'Karna' from her. '' when will she call me that again? Wait, when can I see her again, wait what to DO WHEN I SEEE HERRRR AGAAIIIINNNNNN??'' his voice ranged all pitches.
OVERJOYED....
another person who is happy for them is Aparna ,as she knew they both liked each other since they were little. As time passed they began to avoid each other, or feeling awkward in presence of the other one.... slowly they realised and gradually learnt to accept their own feelings.....''aaahh, should I start preparing their wedding dresses?'' talking to herself with her left fist under her chin in the middle of the road .... chuckling to herself.
