Nerdy hadn't thought of it clearly but at the time, the decision made sense.
"All points on Intelligence!" he said, rapidly smashing the plus button on the floating hologram. "If I become smarter, even though I'm already a natural born genius, then wouldn't that make me basically unstoppable?"
He laughed maniacally. "My genius, it scares me."
Who cares about Agility?
If you're a genius then you wouldn't need to move. Others will move for you. They will treasure your words like the word of the Lord and crawl between your legs.
Same thing goes with Strength.
Why need power and the might to take on hundreds of enemies alone when you could be so much more! Investing in Strength would mean you could handle a country but Intelligence would let you control the world.
"They might think I'm stupid," Nerdy said, grinning. "But I know that people tend to covet what they don't have and I reject that statement! If I consolidate what I already have—add more intelligence to my superior intelligence, then I will come out on top."
He clicked confirm and a bluish spark radiated from his eyes. In an instant, his view got wider and bigger. His brain achieved more curls and wrinkles than an old lady with a type 4 hair. He could hear colors, see taste, and smell sound.
He felt alive.
Then came the sudden kneeling of thin skinny legs turning into jelly. The overbearing weight of gravity thrust upon his body. His eyes trembling in horror as his face crumpled into oblivion never to be seen again.
A muffled laugh of defeat and insanity escaped his lips.
