A dream!
Ken is running through a vast, misty forest. The sound of leaves crunching beneath his feet echoes in the silence.
"Father! Wait! Please, wait!" Ken yells, chasing the silhouette of a tall man walking ahead of him.
The figure turns slightly, just enough for Ken to almost see his face… but then everything fades to white.
Ken gasps and jolts awake, sweat on his forehead.
"Ken! You're going to be late!" his mother calls from outside his room.
"Remember, you have a school trip today. Hurry up!"
Ken sits up, catching his breath. That dream again... Dad... he thinks to himself, looking at a small framed photo of his father on his nightstand.
Scene Shift: The School Bus
The scene changes to a cheerful school bus, bouncing along a countryside road. Students are chatting excitedly. Ken sits near the middle, beside his two best friends.
Lana, sitting by the window, leans forward with a wide grin. "I heard we're going to a historical ruins site today! I can't wait! I wonder what kind of ancient stuff we'll find."
Ken chuckles. "You really never get tired of learning, do you?"
Lana smiles. "Knowledge is power!"
On the other side, Art slouches in his seat with headphones on, lazily tapping away at a game on his phone.
"Wake me up when we reach. Or when there's food," he mumbles.
Ken shakes his head. "Still the same old Art..."
The narrator speaks:
"Ken is what most would call an ideal student—polite, smart, athletic, and kind. Loved by his teachers, admired by classmates. But there is one thing even Ken doesn't know… A truth hidden from him for years: his father disappeared mysteriously when Ken was just a child.
Will Ken ever uncover the truth about his missing father? Or will fate pull him into something far greater than he ever imagined?"
