Somi
"So, what are you doing in this exhibition?" I asked Kai. I just processed the fact that he was really respected. Why not? This man work on National Geographic! He blinked few times. Than again gave us his signature beautiful smile,"Actually, I'm here for survey."
My grandma chuckled,"And he was surveying on me too." He laughed at my grandma's humour. Literally first with my mother and now with my grandma. He seemed like easily could comfortable with elders.
My grandma continued,"But he's really sharp minded, young man. He asks questions so cleverly. He know how to play with words." He smiled and bowed to my grandma once again.
"So, You have more work, now?" I raised my eyebrows. He pressed his lips together and nodded,"Yeah. Sometime we can't have holidays. Especially when we want to spend time in this rare yet unique exhibitions."
How heartbreaking! This exhibition was really rare and unique, conducted by Institute. It was collaboration of multiple captures. I assumed that Kai also like these things. And I was right.
"So, I'm going..." He said, and smiled, A BRIGHT SMILE,"Bye, Grandma." he bowed.
I and my grandma looked at each other then she smiled and chuckled,"Bye, Young man. And come our home once. I wanna have a coffee."
"Sure." The smile still plastered on his face. As soon as he walked away from us my grandma looked at me.
"He seems really good. And I swear, he's not like other men." She nudged my shoulder few time. I sighed,"But granny, he's younger than me. What if he prefer submissive younger girls too like other men."
She smacked my shoulder. It's really hurts! "If he hasn't problem then why are you whining!" She spated dramatically.
I sighed,"I wonder, How you can be old aged." She scoffed,"We always should walk along with time. And also it's common nowadays. I saw a drama where the boy was four years younger."
"It's my life. Not a drama." I sassed. My grandma raised her eyebrows,"So, you can consider him as a brother? Don't your little part of you want him more than that?"
I paused. It's true. I didn't want him as 'Brother'."He's my friend." I won't let the unwanted crush control me.
My grandma chuckled,"Okay. Go with friends. But he's really perfect. Whoever have him as partner. She's really lucky."
I nodded at looked at the ground. She was right. But I'll not take any decisions by blinded feelings.

"Wow... So that boy works there!" My mother exclaimed as she cut the carrot. My grandma and mother like usual gossiping. Sometimes I joined them too. Duh!
I walked in the kitchen,"Done? He is talented. And it's obvious, people like me always get the good." I opened our refrigerator and grabbed my favorite apple juice.
My mother and grandmother had same vides. Even though they were Daughter in law and mother in low duo. My grandma was korean while my grandpa was french. She was really a great mother in law. Every girl wished mother in law like her. She came for a vocation with us. She lived in Korea.
They both laughed something they said within them. I sighed and went to dining table and sat on chair. It's already seven in evening and also a Sunday. I didn't saw any sign of Simfloni. She told be she had a date. I'm really wanted to know how that went. But she didn't replied my message yet.
My phone buzzed. Kai's message came.

Jesus! This man was really unexpected. I ran to door and opened the door. Found he was standing, five steps far from our entrance door. He was wearing the same attire as morning. The sky blue shirt and a shit cotton jeans. Upper three bottom undone this time, which was giving me a good show of his chest.
He looked from the phone,"Oh! You here." He was sweaty. Because his chest literally shining. If any of my girls group's friend was here, they would definitely drooling by now.
I shake myself mentally, "You shouldn't come at this hours. You must be tired." He grinned and walked close to our entrance,"It's okay." he expanded his hand towards me which was holding a plastic bag.
I slowly took the bag from his hand. I flinched when I heard my grandma said from my behind,"Young man, you came? Come come. Somi!" She smacked my shoulder again in front of him! Oh god! Please swallow me!
His eyes moved between me and my grandma, he let out a soft chuckle. My cheeks heated,"Don't you know the manners! Who make their guests stand outside." she scolded.
"No no grandma. I've to go as tomorrow is monday." He oh so politely said as always.
But My grandma was my grandma. As stubborn as me. She said,"I'm not requesting. I'm ordering young man. Come in."
He looked down, swallowed then grinned and nodded. He couldn't never ever win over my grandma. But her heart as I saw my grandma. How she was behaving with Kai.
She guilded him to our living room. My father who was watching football match on TV turned his face. He was almost laying on couch casually. He sat up hurriedly and smiled,"How are you, boy?"
Kai bowed respond,"Good, uncle." By this time my mother walked in,"You... Is it needed? You could've give me two days later. Sit"
He just smiled and sat in couch. My grandma gave him a glass of water,"Drink this."
I could sense, Kai indeed was feeling awkward at this rate. My mother again came with coffee,"I heard, you have work today too. Don't your mother scold you?" she asked as she literally ordered him to take the coffee.
He smiled,"Well, I live alone, aunty." My mother and grandma frowned,"Where your mother lives?"
"Actually my parents is in US now. My mother is a cancer patients. Last stage." He said, with sadness laced tone. I saw the way his shoulder fall down.
My grandma smiled softly, she sat besides him,"Don't worry. You can come to us on holidays if you feel alone." He looked at her, he was clearly somewhat shock. My mother's expression softened too,"Yes of course. See, blood relation doesn't matter nowadays."
"And also you're a strong man. Like a Man." My father laughed. Lightening the atmosphere,"And also you're our daughter's friend. See Somi, learn something from him." my father taughted me. I huffed.
"No, uncle. She's perfect." He spoke in his soft honey coated voice.
I smiled. He became really close to us. Within few days. Everything was happening so fast.
