The Duke sat down facing his wife, his presence was a bit too much for them to handle because none could look at his eyes except for his second wife who wanted to show her husband that her resolve is strong to make her son the heir.
"Where is he?" The Duke asked in a jesting manner, "At a brothel and you expect me to make him my heir."
Those words were met with resistance "Atleast he is fucking whores, not a young girl forcefully like your eldest." All of a sudden Duke just laughed "The audacity to accuse that useless child of being rapist all well knowing he was framed while it was your son who fucked that kid... Your son is nine yet you encourage him to do such acts, but just like how Estefan was punished, I'll do the same to you two."
"WHAT!" She stood up shocked and in anger as if her son did not touch Erika nor Cornelia plotted it. "What shall be the punishment?" She swallowed her pride while asking her husband. "Marriage." Duke's answer was quick, it was clear that he already made up his mind in marrying Erika to Carnel, the second son of the Duke.
Duke looked at one of the Guards in the vicinity, "Fetch me Carnel, he is probably at some brothel." The Duke ordered and his words were true.
In the City, there was an exclusive red light district which was allowed to exist because it brings profits. Inside one of the brothels, a couple of Angeras knights were seen having food. The first floor was a restaurant while the second floor had the actual service.
As they were eating their belts began to illuminate, one of them grabbed the communication mirror which was the one lighting up and it was due to someone calling them.
But they were alerted to drag Carnel back to the Palace. The knights stood up and marched towards the second floor since it was the direct order of the Duke.
There were many rooms on the second floor but none had doors instead transparent curtains which showed a silhouette of a woman on top and laid on the bed, their visage was mesmerising along with the smoke, incense sticks made to sexually turn on anyone who smells it but the knights were trained to control themselves.
They moved forward and at the centre there was a larger room, it consists of a massive bed which can hold more than ten humans easily.

One of her personal guards said while holding their swords hilt but they honestly can't do anything since they knew the moment their swords were unsheathed they'd die.
But the Duke sighed "Useless, if your son proves to me that he is worthy in ten years then I'll consider it." But she asked "Consider it? You only have two more heirs left." The Duke simply laughed "So? I can fuck more and get more children, maybe I'll take the woman behind you." The lady turned her head and stared at the young servant girl who trembled while looking down because she knew that the lady would probably kill her now due to the Duke's words.
"Do not think I won't replace you just because of your brother. I'll just kill your two sons and then take in a new girl and fuck her in front of you." The Duke quipped before exiting the room.
Lady Cornelia simply stood up and slapped the servant girl who the Duke was talking about. The Duke may not be serious with his words but she definitely took it seriously "Alberto, kill her and her entire family." She ordered her head guard who did exactly what she told him to do.
There was no ounce of mercy shown, "I must prepare my son's or else he'll simply use some random useless reasons to deny them of their birthright." She muttered out of worries because the Duke was not trustworthy considering the things he had done to those around him.
The Duke meanwhile walked with Grandmaster Mason who asked "You sure about this?" Hearing that the Duke stopped and stared at the large Portrait of his father hanging on the wall. "I can't be great like him, but I have to ensure those two brats won't be like me... Unfortunately her eldest son is exactly like me, my only hope is the third boy to get better." Duke Gerin pondered, "Was it a wise choice to kill Estefan? He was different." Grandmaster asked the Duke, "Maybe! He was indeed different but considering his mother, he would probably have ended up as a snake which would bite me later on so I didn't want to take an unnecessary risk even if he could have been better." The Duke continued to walk.
But none of them knew the fact that they didn't raise a snake but turned it into an even worse monster out of foolishness and that monster would end up trample on everything.
The Duke married his second wife due to being pressured by the King. The King wanted his sister to be part of the Angeras Family since it was the only Family who the kingdom couldn't defeat but had to sign a treaty with for them to be part of the Nation.
This made Angeras rather a thorn for the Royal Family who viewed them as a blemish in their conquering era. So they have tried many ways to take control of Angeras and make them kneel but it never worked out until now. Under Duke Gerin, Angeras fell into a weaker state albeit still strong but politically not enough.
The King forced the Duke to marry his sister, that alone was a sign of weakness which made Angeras look bad. If the King's nephew becomes the next head of the family then it practically means the Royal Family not only wins but also gets to incorporate a strong ancient household into theirs which will only strengthen House Agares the Royal House.
Duke Gerin didn't have any ways to counter it except training one of his last remaining sons in ways where they will be loyal to him and the identity of Angeras but he was a incompetent father who didn't care much about his sons which created a distance between him and his sons.
He also cruelly punished his innocent eldest son simply due to his mother, that alone made him appear like a ruthless cunning man who will do anything to appease his own wishes.
The family was at its worst under Duke Gerin as he effectively dug a large hole for all of them to be buried, especially considering he is the reason why Estefan is getting stronger with every intention of massacring everyone.
