Chapter 7 First Strike
"Hey! What's wrong with you guys? I'm fine, I'm used to it." Yang Le looked at the misunderstood pair and found it a bit funny.
Peter and Gwen now were just ordinary people who hadn't experienced any storms. If he told them he was a transmigrator, they probably wouldn't believe it. They might even think he'd suffered some kind of shock and was unwilling to accept the departure of his Family.
"Actually, Gwen and I are similar to you, Habby. We know that feeling," Peter said after hesitating for a long time.
"You too?" Yang Le looked surprised, as if he was hearing it for the first time.
"Yeah, my parents have passed away. I live with my Uncle and Aunt now."
"My mom is also gone. I live with my dad."
Peter and Gwen knew what it was like to lose Family. It was definitely a pain that could last a lifetime. To ease Yang Le's pain, they also spoke about the wounds buried in their hearts.
"Alright, I'm really okay. Instead of apologizing later, why don't you come find me more often and hang out with this old guy, Miss Trendsetter, Mr. Prude." Yang Le walked between the two, put his arms around their shoulders, and proactively changed the subject.
This atmosphere was making him a bit tense. Originally, Yang Le didn't care that much, but now this fake orphan was almost getting depressed by two people who had actually lost Family.
However, Peter and Gwen were both perceptive people. They both noticed Yang Le's strained expression. They guessed that Yang Le was pretending to be strong so as not to worry them.
Yang Le felt tormented walking this way. No matter how much he tried to liven up the atmosphere, it was still strange. He now wanted to transform into Clock King and jump back in time to when everything hadn't started, but of course, that was impossible because he couldn't transform into Clock King yet.
"Peter and I live in the Apartment in front. Habby, do you want to come up and sit for a while?" Gwen suggested, pointing to the Apartment in front.
"Come on, Habby, it's almost dinner time. My aunt makes really delicious Pie, you definitely have to try it," Peter said, looking at him hopefully.
"Not today, it's too late. The place I live isn't very peaceful at night." Yang Le used an impeccable reason to decline Peter and Gwen. "In a few days, I'll come visit you then."
"Then it's settled. By the way, Habby, do you have any contact information? Preferably a Mobile phone, so you can notify us later, and we can contact each other usually." Gwen took out her Mobile phone from her Backpack, preparing to exchange Phone number with Yang Le.
This stumped Yang Le. He really didn't have a Mobile phone. He only had a Little Broken Watch now.
Fortunately, Gwen saw his difficulty and thought it was his boy's pride acting up, that he was embarrassed to say he didn't have a Mobile phone. So she wrote her Phone number on a piece of paper and handed it to him.
"Keep in touch~" Gwen winked playfully.
"Okay, beautiful lady." Yang Le accepted the note, bowed slightly, and gave a clumsy gentleman's salute, making Gwen and Peter laugh heartily.
"Bye-bye, Habby."
"See you next time."
"See you next time."
After saying goodbye to Gwen and Peter, Yang Le watched them enter the Apartment and then started his way Home.
"Did something good happen?"
Gwen and Peter were chatting and laughing as they climbed the stairs when they suddenly heard a familiar voice from upstairs.
"Uncle Ben!" Peter looked up in surprise and found Uncle Ben standing at the stairwell entrance, carrying Tools.
"Hello Uncle Ben, how was your day?" Gwen greeted Ben politely.
"Not bad, but I guess it wasn't as good as yours," Ben replied with a smile.
Peter quickly climbed the stairs, stood beside Ben, and said excitedly, "Uncle Ben, let me tell you, Gwen and I today..."
"Alright, Peter," Ben gently interrupted Peter. "Let's talk about anything when we get Home. Blocking the stairs will bother others, and I think May will also be very interested. Oh, Gwen, George told me he'll be late coming Home today. Why don't you come to our Home for dinner tonight?"
"Okay, Uncle Ben, thank you for your kindness." George Stacy, as Police, coming Home late was already commonplace, and Gwen didn't find it strange. "Did my dad say what caused him to come Home late?"
"He didn't say, and I'm not comfortable asking either. Sorry, Gwen, you know, your dad's job is quite special," Ben said apologetically.
"It's okay, Uncle Ben, I'm used to it," Gwen waved her hand, appearing not to care, but she was still a little worried in her heart.
'May God bless you and keep you safe, Dad,' Gwen prayed silently in her heart.

"Units, attention, escaped convict Herman has hijacked a bus and has escaped to Queens. Units, please be aware that the escaped convict is carrying weapons."
"This is George, the criminal is carrying weapons of mass destruction. Requesting backup, requesting backup," George Stacy, hiding behind a Police car, kept calling for help on the Walkie-talkie.
"Boom!" With a loud bang, the huge Impact Force overturned the car. The rolling car crashed into the Police car George was hiding behind. The Police car shifted sideways, causing George to stagger.
"fk! My back!" George felt a dull pain in his back. The block in front was already a mess. Herman was wearing a pair of strange Gauntlet, and those Gauntlet were releasing Shockwave of enormous power, making the Police chasing him afraid to even peek their heads out.
However, although Herman had those strange Gauntlet, he was still made of flesh. The Police's Gun could still pose a threat to him. The Police surrounded and intercepted him, forcing him into a Jewelry Store.
The good news was that Herman was trapped. The bad news was that there were people in the Jewelry Store. He now had Hostage.
"This job should be left to Captain America," George said through gritted teeth.
Backup arrived quickly. Seven or eight Police car surrounded the Jewelry Store tightly. A Police officer holding a Loudspeaker kept trying to persuade Herman to surrender.
Unfortunately, the only response he got was the screams of the Hostage in the Jewelry Store and a Shockwave.
Yang Le stood on the rooftop of a building, looking at the mess below.
"Supervillain has made his appearance, how can a Hero run away from the battle?" Yang Le whistled and slowly raised his left hand wearing the Omnitrix.
"Omnitrix! Activate!"

"Wuu wuu wuu..." Betty squatted in the crowd, sobbing softly. Many wealthy women beside her had their makeup ruined by tears.
She felt that today was the worst day of her life. She was about to get off work when suddenly a man wearing a Prison uniform and strange Gauntlet suddenly broke in, knocked down the Security guard in the store in one go, and then took everyone Hostage and confronted the Police.
"Stop f***ing crying!" Herman shouted sternly. The originally rustling crowd suddenly quieted down.
Herman was very anxious now. Originally, his Prison break plan was perfect, but people from other gangs who didn't get along with him discovered his Plan and Reported him. Helplessly, he could only break out of Prison ahead of schedule, which disrupted all his Plan.
He tried his best to escape from Prison, but now he was trapped in a Jewelry Store. He had to find a way out as soon as possible, or he would soon be back in Prison.
"You, come here," Herman shouted, pointing at Betty hiding in the corner. The Energy of the Gauntlet was running out. If this continued, he would be exhausted here. He planned to take Hostage to force a breakthrough.
"No! Sir, please," Betty felt dizzy and desperately tried to shrink back into the crowd, but the people next to her distanced themselves from her. Soon, a space cleared around her in the crowd.
"Stop f***ing nonsense, hurry up and get over here." The dwindling Energy was like a countdown, making Herman even more furious. He directly reached out to grab Betty, who kept begging for mercy.
Just as Herman's hand was about to grab Betty, a thick and powerful Vine bound his hand and stopped him.
"This is illegal behavior! Come with me to surrender!" Yang Le, transformed into Swampfire, looked down at Herman condescendingly.
