Magic system:
The origin of the magic system is still unclear. The ordinary people began to awaken magic right after the dragon dungeons appeared all over the world. Ever since then, there's has been people with various kind of magic power. There are 5 ranks among magic users.
1. Beginner: This is the rank a magic user is given when they are admitted into the Magic Academy. There if they can complete the Magic courses, they will be deemed worthy of becoming anything they desire. Such as Warrior, knight, Healer, Mage etc.
2. Certified : After earning the qualification certificate, magic users can become an adventurer to raid Dragon Dungeons, be medical specialties, body guards for the high ranking elites etc.
3. Experienced: After a magic user make a name for themselves by showing the result of their preferred job, they are promoted to this rank.
4. Master: A rank for very strong Magic users. Magic users of this rank are well respected, earns a lot and become the head of the Job they are doing like becoming a guild master or becoming the head medical specialist.
5. Grand Master: A rank for very selective few. Magic users of this rank are immensely strong. They are given absolute authority of decision making, authority to override laws, execute a fellow magic user. Anything they say are absolute. Beside these privilege, they earn a lot of money, unlike other magic users. But, even if a magic user becomes strong enough to qualify for the Grand Master rank, they won't be promoted to this rank unless they have traits like kindness, consideration, empathy and many other positive character traits. The magic Association follows this rule strictly. Because if a magic user with negative characteristics is promoted to this rank, they would cause chaos like the time when magic first appeared.
Magic Potions:
There are magic potions of many kinds. Magic researchers have developed many magic potions like Mana replenish Potion, Fatigue Removal Potion etc over time.
Mana Replenish Potion: As the name suggests, a user drink this potion to replenish their mana. But consuming too much of this potions is unhealthy.
Fatigue Removal Potion: Magic users drink this potion to remove fatigue.
Peak Attaining Potion: A forbidden potion. If someone drinks it, they can temporarily attain their peak of magic. But it comes with a cost-- the consumer loses half of his life span and mana.
Like this, there are many kinds of potions.
Dragon Hierarchy:
1. Infant
2. Ascendant
3. Advanced
4. Planetary
5. Divine
For a dragon, their strength, power and ranks are predetermined from their birth. But there's one exception: a dragon of Infant rank can rise up to the Ascendant rank. But after that they can't progress any further. As for other ranks they stay the same. For example, If a dragon is born with Advanced rank, they will always remain in the same rank
Now, if you had paid attention to Laymar's rank, you will see that he is in "Divine" rank. But that doesn't mean he is as strong as the Divine rankers yet. Him and his skills are still Infant tiers. So, as he will level up, he will climb up the ladder and eventually become as strong as Divine rankers.
