Chapter 3 - Chapter 3— Chaos vs Corrupted: Beginner’s Hell Mode

Cain didn't wait.

The corrupted reincarnators charged—limbs jerking like broken puppets, systems glitching visibly across their skin. Glowing blue fragments flickered beneath their flesh like exposed code.

"They used to be like me…"

Whatever brought them here… whatever broke them… Cain had no intention of joining their ranks.

He hurled his rib-bone spear at the nearest one.

The creature slapped it aside like it was nothing.

Cain cursed.

[Activating Skill: Chaos Flame – Level 1]

Black fire roared to life in his palm.

It wasn't clean.

It wasn't perfect.

It was wild.

And that suited him just fine.

The first corrupted lunged.

Cain twisted to the side, slamming his burning palm directly into its face.

The thing shrieked—blue and black light wrestling across its skin.

But even burning, it didn't stop.

The second and third came at him together.

Cain's mind raced.

[Warning: Mana Low – 12/50 MP Remaining]

[New Objective Unlocked: Survive the Corrupted Reincarnators]

Bonus Reward: Unknown.

"Oh yeah, that's super comforting," Cain grunted.

He ducked under a swipe, rolled, grabbed a shattered bone sword from the ground.

Swing.

Slash.

It barely slowed them down.

Then… something in him snapped.

Not fear.

Not rage.

Something older.

Something that didn't belong to a human at all.

A voice — buried deep within his soul — whispered like a pulse:

"Use me properly, idiot."

[Hidden Function Detected: Chaos Flame Evolution — Fragment Release]

Cain's eyes widened.

The system glitched violently.

Screens flashed like lightning.

[WARNING: Unauthorized Skill Activation Detected.]

[Proceed Anyway? Y/N]

Cain grinned through bloody teeth.

"Oh, hell yes."

He slammed both hands together — forcing black and violet flame to spiral wildly between them.

[Chaos Fragment Unleashed.]

A burning symbol—ancient, jagged, divine—ignited beneath his feet.

The corrupted froze.

Their hollow eyes stared.

For the first time… they hesitated.

Cain stood slowly, fire rising behind him like a chaotic storm.

"Let me show you what a real accident looks like."
