The sky fell that day.
Not literally, but for billions of people across the world, it felt like the end of everything.
Ten years ago, the tower appeared — just like that, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. It rose high, piercing through the clouds, taller than any mountain, as if defying the heavens themselves. Its color was like obsidian, yet a bright blue light radiated around it, glowing as if alive.
They called it: Tower of Architect.
No one knew where it came from. Not a single satellite captured the moment it appeared. It was as if the tower hadn't arrived... but rather, had been activated. Like an ancient structure long dormant beneath the sea, finally awakened.
And then... the monsters started coming out.
Strange creatures never recorded in any biology or history book. Some resembled ancient beasts, others looked like demons from old myths, and a few were too horrifying to describe. They emerged through dimensional rifts opening around the tower, then scattered across the world.
Major cities became slaughterfields. New York fell in three days. Tokyo held out for a week before its defense walls collapsed. Jakarta, Paris, Cape Town, Rio — all met the same fate. Military systems and even nuclear weapons couldn't stop the onslaught of creatures from the Tower.
The human world... collapsed within months.
But just when humanity was on the verge of extinction, a miracle occurred. Some people began to change. They called it: Awakening.
Ordinary people started gaining powers. They became connected to a mysterious system linked to the Tower's very existence. They received a Class — like in an RPG — granting them unique abilities: Swordsman, Elementalist, Summoner, Artificer, Beastcaller, even Blacksmiths appeared.
Those who survived and developed their powers were called Ascenders.
It was these Ascenders who began to fight back, halting the monster invasion, and even... entered the Tower.
They thought the tower was merely the source of monsters. It wasn't.
Inside the Tower, there was a world.
Each floor was a vast realm — like a miniature world. There were forests, cities, kingdoms, deserts, even floating mountains. There were strange races never seen on Earth. Civilizations thriving... and some on the brink of collapse.
And most importantly... there were Artifacts.
Mysterious objects with great power, sold for high prices on the Earth's black market. Artifacts could cure diseases, extend lifespan, strengthen Classes, or even shape entire territories. Thus, thousands began entering the Tower — not just to save the world, but for riches... and a better life.
Because Earth... was now plagued by monsters.
Cities lay in ruins. Safe zones were overcrowded with refugees. Energy and food were scarce. Living on Earth meant surviving in hunger and fear.
But inside the Tower?
An ordinary person could become a noble. A farmer could become a palace guard. And those strong enough could take control of a floor, turning it into their own domain — complete with cities, armies, and their own economy.
The Tower became a new world. A world where humanity could start over. An alternate civilization.
However, not all floors were friendly.
Beyond the 100th floor — known as the final limit of the Tower — rumors speak of hidden floors only accessible to those who have achieved the highest forms of power. These floors are ruled by entities called Floor Gods — not gods in the mythological sense, but living beings who are part of the Tower's core system.
And this... is where the story begins.
A ten-year-old boy living in the city of Surabaya, named Arven Kael, watched his apartment collapse with his mother inside. He saw his father try to fight a monster with an empty pistol. And he could only run, hiding among refugees in underground tunnels.
He didn't Awaken.
No power. No hope. No future.
Only ruins, trauma, and the harsh reality that in this world... justice belonged only to the strong.
Now, ten years have passed.
Arven Kael lives in this new world — a world divided between those who can climb the Tower... and those who can only watch from below.
But fate has finally knocked on his door.
And unexpectedly... The Class he received was nothing special.
But that Class... might hold a great secret.
