Chapter 1 - Reborn

In the Void, where gods roam and the fate of the multiverse is determined.

"But isn't the universe supposed to expand infinitely?" Ashur could immediately see the frustration rise in the entity's faces at the question. Apparently, his universe operators were fond of that question in particular.

The entity put on a smile as though to convince himself he was happy." Well, that absolutely should be the case, my friend, in fact for millions and billions of years, that has been the case where the universe could keep up its expansion in regards to the creation of matter, even allowing sufficient space apart so that different mini universes and galaxies wouldn't even know each other exist. But you humans had to go and ruin it; of course, it isn't you humans fault you gained your power; we were having internal problems at the time, but still, your constant creating has cluttered the universe to the point it isn't expanding fast enough!"

"Uh-huh, so what does this have to do with me in particular? Aren't you guys supposed to deal with this, or, like, have someone who has actually created anything deal with it?" The entity, this time, simply spawned in a gigantic floating screen that immediately started playing a video of him when he was younger, talking in his room alone after finishing DragonBall Super Broly."

"If Akira Toriyama has billions of fans, I am one of them. If he has one fan, that one fan is me. If Akira Toriyama has no fans, that means I am dead. If Akira Toriyama were to die, I would sacrifice my life to die in his place." Ashur blankly stared into the Void as the entity chuckled, "That answer your question?"

Gathering himself and thinking for a while, Ashur responded," Yes, and you know what I stand on it. I agree to take his place in saving the universe, but how exactly am I supposed to do that?"

"Good, I like it; straight to the point, to save the universe, you will basically undergo universal war. I will send you to one of the universes where you will prepare them to fight with you against other universes, or you can try to integrate them, but that is unlikely. Of course, you will have some help via the system, and since you have been so cooperative, I will allow you to choose where you start; I recommend a stable universe that is unlikely to be destroyed due to things like influence on other works and general strength." The entity's words hung in the air, the weight of the task settling heavily on Ashur's shoulders.

The entity snapped, and a list appeared in front of his eyes. "Here's some I think you would enjoy. By the way, each second you spend here is 10 years less time you get to spend preparing, so get to picking; you will begin at the start of the story of these universes."

[DragonBall]

[Marvel 616]

[Dc Earth Prime]

[One piece]

[ Greek Myth]

Looking through the list quickly, Ashur found that these were indeed some of his favorite fiction stories, though he had little time to choose between them. Marvel and DC were immediately out of too many variables, and gaining significant power in them would take hard work. One piece was next off the list due to not being strong enough. Finally, only Dragon Ball and the Greek Mythos were next. Of course, both were viable options, but his godhood would determine his place in the Greek world, and he would rather not have to deal with a serial rapist, so the obvious choice was dragon ball. At least there, he had a clear path to power and apparent wealth, the dragon balls.

Pushing the Dragon Ball option, Ashur asked one last essential question:" What happens if I fail?"

"Of course, you and the earth will be destroyed along with everything else when the universe reboots." The entity said casually, as if he did not just mention the end of everything as we know it "Let me not waste any more of your precious time. Good luck on the mission. I will be watching." It snapped its hands one last time, sending Ashur into a wormhole, confused.

"What?" The last thing Ashur saw was the entity pulling out a large bowl of cosmic-colored popcorn and summoning a comfy chair. "No way! "

Dragon Ball Age 758 (two years after the 23 Martial Arts tournament)

Capsule Corp Event Center

"Welcome to the stage our beautiful and brilliant CEO of Capsule Corp, Bulma Briefs, who will present our Scientist of the Year award for this age 758."

The crowd roared with applause and screams, shaking the very ground with their stomps; it was rare these days for Capsule Corp to host an event of this size. With them already dominating the world in technology, there would be no point in it; people would always buy, and it saved costs on hosting. But today was something special; someone had finally matched up to the young Bulma Briefs in regards to creation, and it was someone who had appeared recently joining the capsule corp family.

Soon, the crowd went silent as a woman with long light violet-dyed hair walked out on stage. She wore Light blue denim Jeans along with a white button-up blouse that had the capsule corp logo pinned to it. She finished the look with a scientist coat depicting different locations around the world on it and goggles lazily hanging around her neck, reminiscent of a recent adventure.

"Welcome again, everyone, and thank you for attending Capsule Corp's first event in a while; as you know, we at Capsule Corp have been extremely busy expanding our business operations op, ending thousands of new restaurants for our culinary sector, rapidly expanding in real estate, and launching hundreds of new products. But I won't bore you with the numbers; we all know why you're all here today. The creator of Capsule Corp's personal Reality Room is here to win his Scientist of the Year award. However, before we get to that, let me speak about my long-time friend. We had been rivals ever since we met in elementary school, competing at who could build the best car; of course, I won, but he put up a fight, and that fight has always stayed with him. I don't know why, but he has always had a look of focused panic on his face as though the world is ending, and it has inspired me to create a world where that is no longer the case, since then we have gone on adventures, saved the world, and of course built new technology, but I just want to say old friend I love you. Will everyone please welcome to the stage our capsule corp scientist of the year, Ashur Satan"

A man joined the women on stage wearing a simple tux with the exact same face of anxiety the women mentioned but a nice smile." Hello everyone, I just want to thank Bulma..." Ashur paused as a floating virtual touchscreen appeared in front of him, setting off thousands of emotions in his head; it simply stated on it in plain text

[ sorry for sending the system late; you will be compensated, PS you are doing great so far]

Tears welled in Ashur's eyes as he began shaking. For years, he had struggled to find a way across the multiverse himself, trying to find some way to activate the system to no avail. He thought it truly was over, with no way of telling how much time was left. He lived in constant anxiety. Finally, he could do his job. Ashur kneeled on stage as Bulma took over.

"Sorry, everyone. It looks like my friend is just too overwhelmed with excitement. It's not every day anyone wins an award so major, except for me or maybe my dad. Anyway, please feel free to enjoy a meal from some of Capsule Corp's greatest and everything this beautiful venue has to offer." Quickly, she grabbed Ashur and pulled him off stage.

5 Hours Later, Ashur's room Capsule Corp Main building

"So what's up? It's not like you crumple up like that on stage and you've been staring into space all day. Hey, look at me. You're still doing it." She grabbed his arm as he continued to look at nothing.

" Ashur you, know I'm not mad at you but couldn't you have at least got out more then " thank you Bulma" I already had enough trouble finding a boyfriend after you scared off Yamcha, now who would want to date me, they'll think they have compete against you for my love!" She flapped his arm up and down trying to get his attention.

" Hey wake up, hey wake up, wake up, wakeup." Bulma continued her shenanigans almost dipping her saliva coated finger In his Ashur's ear before he responded.

"Bulma, do you know why I've always been interested in wormholes and different realities?" Corvus finally turned his head, having made up his mind on how to use the compensation rewards.

"Not in particular Mr.serious guy I just thought you wanted to find a reality where Launch loves you." Noticing Ashur not laughing nor fully paying attention, she called " Hey Ashur, come on, tell me what's on your mind. You keep spacing out. I never really thought about why you like space."

"The world is coming to an end." Releasing what he held in his mind for years from even people like Goku, Ashur breathed a sigh of relief.

"what," The Bulma asked surprised

"Unless we save it, the world, along with the entire universe, will die! Quick I need your help in testing something. I have been given a system and already know where I'm going, but I need to know if you're available to help and if you would like to become my companion ." Ashur, already placing his order in regards to the world, looked Bulma in the eye, a serious glint in his eye

"Well, when you say in that weird way, I don't particularly want to, but then again, when have I not been in? Though it would be nice to know what you're talking about. To be clear, I'm in." Bulma Rambled on she loved a good adventure anyway. How different could this one be?

Turning the screen visible to companions in the system function settings, Ashur invited Bulma on his journey." Right now, you should be seeing a screen asking if you want to join as my companion; please click yes. Also, wherever we go, time should be slowed."

"Ooh, time dilation—that's neat, but aren't you getting a bit hasty? Based on your reactions, you just got the system today, like in some novel." Bulma clicked the yes button appearing in his companion tab.

"Well, I have been waiting for this moment my entire life. Why not get the first use out of the way?"

Ashur clicked on his chosen world, preparing to leave. When he arrived on Earth, he got a message stating he had 80 years until the war entirely broke out, and he would use every second to make sure everyone was fully prepared.

[Generating portal to Nasuverse]

"Wait, how have you been waiting on this your whole life?" Bulma asked, now fully confused

Before he could answer, Ashur was saved by a ding and an ethereal sound, one coming from a bland-looking Time Machine and the other from a red portal appearing on the floor.
