Realizing that I'm in a fairytale world didn't reassure me; on the contrary, it made me even more worried.
The power scale system in this world is completely broken.
Here there can be gigantic, powerful dragons that capture and eat people, witches so powerful that they can curse an entire kingdom to eternal sleep, a certain magical princess so powerful that she could freeze an entire kingdom... meanwhile I'm just a normal human!

Okay, looking at the 10 cards I got with this Roll, four were almost useless, with Hunter's Night Vision being the least useless of the four.
The pokeball, even though it's only a 1-star card, would still be quite useful in the future if I got a companion or pet.
Opening my profile and seeing that I still had 40 GP left, I decided to roll 10 more cards.

'Holy shit... that's what I'm talking about!' As soon as I saw the last card, I was very excited.
The Miralune kingdom was a coastal kingdom, with at least half of the kingdom making direct contact with the coast.
The biggest problem in dealing with the monsters was the lack of firepower and the danger of injury I would face without any combat experience, since the old Eric was just a pretty face who trained with a sword just to show off.
Sure, it's not like the strength of a normal person is going to do much for the kingdom, and even I in my other world didn't have combat training or worry about getting strong at any point.
However, with everything I had achieved in those 20 Rolls, I was confident that I could protect my kingdom!

Okay, that's very promising...
First for the characters, Percy Jackson was a 'For sure', already assuming the first empty Slot of assimilation.
In the book series Percy showed a very high level of power, especially after he dives into the River Styx, becoming practically indestructible like Achilles.
Unfortunately, I still have my doubts as to whether this invulnerability will come with the character card in the future.
His powers of water control would be perfect for me, not to mention his enhanced demi-god physique and the experience of using the sword he mastered during the series.
With Percy's demi-god physique, I'd have a huge advantage when dealing with monsters, and I could even turn this into opportunities for Miralune, as we'd go from being a small, simple kingdom to one that practically has a demi-god protecting it.
Our relations with neighboring kingdoms will change completely.
But wait...
If I'm not mistaken, Disney has also made a movie and TV cartoons about Hercules... does that mean that if I become a demi-god, I'll also get involved in the whole Olympus mess, if there is an Olympus in this universe?!
That was worrying.
The Olympian gods have always been the most emotionally unstable, the world I imagine I'm in is already extremely messy, if I add the crazy Olympians it will become an even bigger mess...
'Eric, your priority right now is to protect your kingdom, and considering all the cards you've got, Percy is probably the only card with such great firepower that it will really help to deal with the kingdom problem completely...' I convinced myself, leaving the worry of the Olympians for later.
So without further hesitation I placed Percy in one of the assimilation slots, causing a refreshing sensation to run through my body.

Looking at my hands and feeling the power coursing through my body, I remembered that Percy was also much stronger physically than a normal person!
Thinking about how he physically fought gigantic monsters that destroyed buildings, it's understandable that Percy is so much stronger than the average person....
Looking at the glass of water next to my bed that my mother had left, I reached out for it and tried to use my new powers.
Just as I had imagined, the water began to float out of the glass slowly and a little unsteadily, but gradually it was getting easier.
'And all this without needing the big dance moves that water benders from the Avatar series needed...' I was excited by this potential.
Looking at my Status screen again, I was surprised at the unexpected synergy I would have with a power card I had gotten!

Water Breathing already uses control over water to exert a very great power in combat, a power great enough to be very relevant in this world if I master it, and considering that I'm already assimilating Percy Jackson who has even greater control over water than the technique provides, this will make the technique even stronger!
These two alone have already given me so many possibilities for the future, and I haven't even finished organizing all the cards I've got!
