Chapter 1 - The Unseen Bond

The mansion was quiet that evening. The only sounds were the soft rustling of the wind through the trees and the distant echo of the grandfather clock ticking.

Rev sat in the shadows of the grand hallway, his gaze fixed on the heavy wooden doors. There was an anticipation in the air, one that clung to him like a second skin.

He hadn't seen his father in days, and with each passing hour, his thoughts were filled with questions. Mr. Robert Forton had always been a distant figure in his life

commanding, powerful, and cold. But tonight, there was something different.

The door creaked open, and Rev stiffened. His father stepped inside, his presence like a storm breaking over the mansion. Mr. Forton was tall, his figure imposing in the dim light. He had a way of carrying himself that commanded attention, even when he didn't speak.

"Father," Rev whispered under his breath, his heart suddenly racing.

Mr. Forton's eyes found him in the shadows, and a faint, knowing smile touched his lips. It was rare for his father to smile, but when he did, it was always with an intensity that seemed to pierce right through Rev's chest.

"Rev," Robert said, his voice low and controlled. "I've brought someone for you."

Rev frowned, his curiosity piqued. "Someone?"

His father stepped aside, revealing a figure hidden in the dark hallway behind him. It was a young man, no older than Rev himself. The stranger's face was hidden beneath the shadow of his long, dark hair, but there was something about him that made Rev's heart beat a little faster.

"Who is he?" Rev asked, stepping closer, his eyes locking onto the stranger.

"This is Luca," Robert said, his tone casual but his eyes sharp. "He's someone who will help you understand things you've never been able to see."

Luca raised his head slightly, revealing a pair of dark eyes that seemed to hold countless secrets. His lips were slightly parted, but he didn't speak. There was something intense, almost magnetic, about the way he stood there, as if the very air around him vibrated with unspoken words.

Rev couldn't look away. There was a strange pull in his chest, a sensation he couldn't explain. It was as if a part of him had always known this moment would come.

"Come closer," Robert ordered, his voice firm. "He's here for you."

Rev hesitated, then took a step toward Luca, drawn in by something he couldn't name. As he got closer, the tension in the air thickened. Luca's eyes followed him, never blinking, never looking away. Rev could feel the weight of his gaze on him, as though Luca was studying him, measuring him, even though he wasn't saying a word.

Luca's hand reached out, slow and deliberate, his fingers brushing against Rev's. The touch was electric, sending a shock of warmth through Rev's veins. He felt his breath catch in his throat.

Luca didn't say anything, but his eyes… his eyes said everything. There was a hunger in them, something dark and possessive. It made Rev's pulse quicken, his skin tingle, and a strange heat spread through him.

"Luca," Robert said, his voice now low and commanding, "He's yours now. Take care of him. Teach him. Show him what I could never give him."

Rev felt a flicker of something deep inside him—fear, excitement, desire. He didn't know what his father meant, but there was something in his words, in Luca's gaze, that made his heart race.

He swallowed hard, stepping back slightly, still holding Luca's gaze. "What does that mean? Teach me what?"

Luca's lips curled into a small, almost imperceptible smile. He stepped forward, closing the distance between them. His breath brushed against Rev's ear as he whispered, "It means I'm here to show you what you've been missing."

Rev's breath hitched. The words felt like a command, and yet, there was an intimacy to them, something private. The way Luca's voice slid into his ear made it hard to breathe.

Rev pulled back slightly, his head spinning. "I don't understand…"

Robert stepped forward, his gaze never leaving his son. "You will, in time. What I couldn't teach you, Luca will. He's here to awaken what's been sleeping inside you, Rev. To help you see what I've always known was inside you."

The words felt like a puzzle, pieces falling into place that Rev hadn't even realized existed. The pull toward Luca, the intense attraction, the hunger in both their eyes—it was undeniable.

And yet, confusion still clouded his mind. What did his father mean? What was this connection, this force that was drawing him closer to Luca with every passing second?

"You don't need to understand right now," Luca said, as if reading his mind. "Just know that I'm here for you. You don't have to be alone anymore."

Rev swallowed hard, unsure of how to respond. He'd spent so many years in his father's shadow, trying to understand his cold, distant world. But now, with Luca standing in front of him, everything felt… different. There was a warmth in the air, a fire that had been kindled deep inside him.

Rev reached out, his fingers brushing against Luca's once more. This time, there was no hesitation. No fear.

Only an overwhelming need.

"Don't leave me," Rev whispered, his voice barely audible, as if speaking the words aloud would make them more real. "Please, don't leave me."

Luca's smile deepened, and for the first time since he arrived, he spoke again, his voice low and full of promise. "I won't."

And in that moment, Rev knew that nothing would ever be the same again. His father's words, Luca's gaze, the electricity between them

i was all too much. Too real.

But one thing was certain. Rev had crossed a line tonight.

And there would be no going back.
