In the kitchen Carl was eating his food absentmindedly thinking of what happened a few minutes ago as the scene kept flashing in his head

Carl was done eating but he didn't enjoy the food due to the thoughts that refuse to leave his head. After washing his face for like 10 times he finally left the kitchen
" Good your done eating. I was wondering why you were taking too much time"
" Anyways Mom sent me a text message saying she would be gone for at least 3 days because Aunt Chloe wasn't feeling well"

I hope she's going to be okay"
Carl really loved this aunty of his so he was pretty worried

" Yes they are but unfortunately Azel has school and he isn't enough to take care of her while that Meat head, since becoming a teacher she has developed a policy of never missing her classes" Cailey said with unhidden grudge then whispered silently

As they were kids Carl and Azel thought it wasn't a serious thing that they would get over it but they kept on going at each other till they finally moved away

" So I called someone to come over"

The person I called over is someone you know quite well and I had to call him over because am worried about you staying all alone in this empty house"

" I can handle it, I've got torches and candles everywhere in the house" He argued

Rodney wanted to suggest himself but he too had to be present where they were going He sighed in regret when he felt the hand on his waist tighten

Carl was still suspicious and curious. " Who?" He asked when the door bell rang
" He's here I'll go get the door" she headed towards the door Carl blocked her path

Cailey seriously asked hoping it wasn't a certain someone
" Are you that dense it's Delph" She pushed Carl out of her way and opened the door
