The Press Conference
In a large hall filled with journalists from all over the world, Yacoub, Soma, David, and Hamza sat at a table in front of the media. The cameras flashed, and reporters prepared their sharp questions.
Yacoub sat calmly next to Hamza, while Soma looked exhausted from sleepless nights haunted by nightmares. David, on the other hand, was extremely excited, not caring about anything other than the discovery that would be announced.
Yacoub whispered to David in a low voice: "Are you sure about your decision? You realize the immense pressure we've been under from various parties to prevent the release or sale of this. How did the news leak? I thought it was Egypt who leaked it, but when the intelligence officer came in angry and told us they would protect us, I realized it wasn't them. But here we are... a global conference with all these channels."
David looked uneasy, turning his eyes away from Yacoub, avoiding looking directly at him.
"I... didn't publish anything."
Yacoub's expression shifted to one of doubt as he asked directly: "So how did the news spread?"
David sighed, then spoke hesitantly: "I told my girlfriend... and you know I come from a wealthy family, and so does she. I think she told her family, and from there, the news leaked."
For the first time, Yacoub's face showed clear anger. "Are you serious? You've put us in a difficult position because you couldn't keep quiet? I thought there was a complex scenario behind this leak, but it's just your mistake!"
David lowered his head in apology: "I was just so excited... she called me and asked, and I couldn't keep it in."
Yacoub shook his head in disappointment, then spoke firmly: "Don't worry, the Egyptians already know it was you. When the intelligence officer entered, you were visibly tense. I don't think they need any more evidence. But it seems they've decided to keep quiet because the announcement now has become a priority. So just act like nothing happened, it's too late."
The Beginning of the Conference
One of the reporters stood up and directed a question to Yacoub: "Mr. Yacoub, as the head of the research team, how did you discover the electricity inside the pyramid? What steps did you follow?"
Yacoub answered diplomatically: "This discovery would not have been possible without the efforts of everyone working with us, especially Mr. Hamza." (He gestured toward him) "Moreover, Soma and David played a pivotal role in reaching the results."
Hamza took over the conversation, speaking with a calm smile: "Although we worked hard, the credit for noticing the anomaly goes to Mr. David, who had early suspicions about the pyramid."
The cameras turned toward David immediately, and one reporter asked him: "Mr. David, what made you suspect that the pyramid contained an energy source?"
David smiled with enthusiasm and said eagerly: "I read an old article that talked about how the angles of the pyramids precisely align with the four cardinal directions and how the locations of the three pyramids match the Orion's Belt in the sky. Additionally, there is an old theory that the type of stones used—limestone and granite—could generate weak electric currents through natural ionization, but this has never been proven."
He paused for a moment, then continued excitedly: "I began to wonder... could the pyramids really just be tombs? After all these astronomical and engineering calculations? So I asked my family to supply us with the latest biological and computational devices, and after months of work and research, we discovered that the energy stored inside the pyramid is enough to supply the world's electricity for 200 years! From the violent consumption of electricity."
A murmur of astonishment spread throughout the audience, and the conference continued with further questions about the discovery and future experiments.
Global Reactions
As the conference ended, global media outlets exploded with reports and articles: "How long will Egypt's secrets continue to be revealed?!" "Electricity inside the pyramids... what next?!" "Are modern Egyptians truly the descendants of the Pharaohs?"
Amidst this uproar, some international parties began to spread suspicious theories, claiming that modern Egyptians were not the true descendants of the Pharaohs and that this energy should belong to the whole world.
The Egyptian Government's Response
In a high-level security meeting, a senior officer in the military spoke sternly: "I knew this would happen, which is why I didn't want to release the news. If it weren't for our adherence to international laws, we wouldn't have to uncover this secret now. According to Egypt's sovereign laws, any natural resources or discovered energies within its borders are considered the property of the state, and no foreign entity has the right to claim them." He then looked at his assistants and ordered them, "Tell the forces to be on high alert!"
The Egyptian President Declares Martial Law.
The public takes to the streets in massive protests, voicing their support for the military and the government.
All of Egypt becomes one heart, defending its right to this discovery.
Western Reactions
In a closed room, representatives from major economic and political powers gathered.
One of them spoke angrily: "How did you let this happen? Now Egypt is no longer alone... the Arab world is rallying around it, and China and Russia are getting closer to striking a deal with them. If this continues, we'll lose all our influence!"
A representative from a wealthy family replied: "Not only that, the closure of the Suez Canal due to tensions is costing us billions of dollars daily. If we don't act, the Egyptians will make a deal with China and Russia, and we will lose completely."
Everyone fell silent for a moment, then one of them suggested slyly: "We need to change our strategy... we'll pretend to agree to Egypt's terms, join the project with them, and then... look for other opportunities to control it later."
Everyone agreed, though some couldn't hide their displeasure at Egypt's victory in this round.
The New International Agreement
Headline:
"Establishing a global company to extract and manage the energy of the pyramids under Egyptian leadership, in partnership with China, Russia, the Arab nations, America, and Europe."
The world is watching...
The negotiations have ended, but the story is far from over.
