Chapter 6 - our set home

Five weeks passed since the children fled their cursed village. Through hunger, rain, and exhaustion—they kept moving. And then they found it.

A hidden paradise.

A wide waterfall roared into a crystal-blue lake. Trees stretched endlessly. Fish leapt in the waters. The grass was soft, and the sky—open and bright.

They had found their new home.

Only 8 years old, but survivors already, the children began to understand nature. Thanks to Hena, the smartest among them, they learned how to live off the land.

Hena: "Okay, listen up! This place is perfect. But we need shelter—proper shelter."

Zyroth, Nell, and One got to work, sawing branches, stacking logs, and tying leaves.

Hours passed. The result?

A crooked, barely-standing pile of sticks and hope.

Hena (facepalming): "What the hell is this?! It looks like it's going to collapse if a squirrel breathes on it!"

Zyroth: "Hey! It's got… character."

Hena: "It's got disaster, dumbass."

While Hena yelled, Kenny wandered deeper into the forest. He found a cave—huge, dry, and hidden beneath vines.

Kenny (rushing back): "GUYS! I found something!"

The group followed, and when they saw it, they knew: this was their base.

Zyroth (grinning): "Look at this! A real home. No thanks to Hena's dumb nature lectures."

Hena (blushing): "SHUT UP, you idiot…"

Nell (laughing): "Ease up, Hena. He's just messing with you."

One (grabbing a stick): "I'm out. I need to train. You guys are too loud."

Zyroth: "Hold up! I'll train with you."

The two disappeared into the woods, sticks in hand—pretending they were knights.

Back in the Village of Furry

The village was in ruins—burned and cursed.

Mayor (to the crowd): "Those cursed children brought ruin! Look around you—we can't stay here."

Villager: "Where will we go, Mayor?"

Mayor: "The Alitic Kingdom has answered my request. A knight has come to escort us."

An armored knight stepped forward, carrying the seal of Alitic—a powerful neighboring kingdom.

Alitic Knight: "A Chaos presence has been detected here. You must evacuate. We will guide you to safety."

A woman screamed from the crowd.

May (crying): "My son… he was slaughtered. By a nightmare. It was that boy—the red-eyed one! He's cursed! He took the other children and ran!"

Alitic Knight (calmly): "Let us speak in private."

Inside a candlelit room:

Knight: "What's your name?"

May: "May. Please… make them pay. My son—he's dead. That monster possessed the red-eyed boy…"

Knight: "I understand. The kingdom will take care of this. I swear it."

The next morning, the villagers packed what remained of their lives.

The Alitic Kingdom would take them in.

But behind their calm words… the hunt had already begun
