After the argument with So Ji Ran, Kim So-hee went to the store where she always meets Jeong Tae-ho.
"I always meet that idiot here... STOP! Why am I even thinking about that?"
Kim So-hee entered the store, got some ramen, prepared it, and sat at a table by the glass wall.
Unexpectedly, someone approached from behind and whispered in her ear.
"What are you doing here?"
Surprised, Kim So-hee looked up and saw Jeong Tae-ho's smiling face.
"You?!"
"Yeah."
Jeong Tae-ho sat next to her and ordered the same ramen they had argued over at this very store.
"I didn't allow you to sit."
"And I didn't ask."
"Good for you."
"So, why are you here?" Jeong Tae-ho asked.
"Not your business."
"Come on, tell me."
Jeong Tae-ho seemed even more curious.
"I won't tell you."
"How does he imagine this? Am I supposed to just say, 'I got kicked out of my house because of a stupid test,' or something?"
But that's exactly what she said to him.
Jeong Tae-ho paused for a moment, surprised. Then he asked.
"Why don't you go to Park Nuri's place?"
"I can't. She and her parents are going to Jeju."
"I see... Well, maybe you can come to... ahem... my place?"
Kim So-hee was so shocked that her chopsticks fell from her hands.
"WHAT?! WHAT?!"
Jeong Tae-ho put his finger to his lips and motioned for her to be quiet.
"Don't shout."
"Why would you come up with something like that?"
Jeong Tae-ho covered his face with his hand and slightly tilted his head.
"If you don't want to, then fine. I just asked."
"Did he just blush? Haha! This is so..."
"Why are you silent?"
Jeong Tae-ho looked at Kim So-hee, speaking quietly, his ears and neck turning red.
"Why did I even ask her? I should've just stayed quiet. Idiot!"
"I'm thinking! Don't bother me!"
"I honestly don't know. It would be better to go to Park Nuri's, but she's probably not home. And I don't know anyone else..."
Kim So-hee was thinking as if this was a matter of life or death.
Meanwhile, Jeong Tae-ho sat red-faced, waiting for her answer.
"... Besides, I could stay with him until Park Nuri comes back. There's no better option."
"Listen, can I really go to your place?"
Jeong Tae-ho looked up.
"Yes. Do you have another option?"
"Well, there's the street, but your apartment sounds better."
"That's what I thought."
Jeong Tae-ho smiled.
"Are your parents going to mind?"
Kim So-hee asked, unsure.
"Well, you don't know. I live alone."
Kim So-hee wasn't surprised; she had suspected as much.
"Alright, finish up. Then we'll go."
"Okay..."
As soon as Kim So-hee finished her ramen, they got ready to leave.
Jeong Tae-ho opened the door and let Kim So-hee go first. He held the door for her until she was through.
"Tomorrow, the sun will rise in the west."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm just saying. Never mind."
Jeong Tae-ho closed the door and stepped out.
Kim So-hee started walking, and Jeong Tae-ho approached from behind, lifting her backpack from her shoulder.
"I'll carry it."
Kim So-hee glanced at him and smiled.
"You wanted to. I didn't make you."
"Yeah, yeah. Give it here."
Jeong Tae-ho took her backpack and threw it over his shoulder.
When they arrived at Jeong Tae-ho's apartment, he opened the door and again held it for her.
"Come in, Your Highness, Princess Kim So-hee."
Jeong Tae-ho bowed his head slightly, gesturing for her to enter.
"Oh my..."
Kim So-hee muttered, but Jeong Tae-ho still saw the smile on her face.
Jeong Tae-ho followed her inside and closed the door.
