Keshav and Jasmine nodded, feeling a mix of exhilaration and exhaustion. They were elated by their victory and proud of their accomplishment, but they were also tired out from the battle.
They entered the hotel, immediately enveloped by luxurious atmosphere. The hotel was lavish, with crystal chandeliers hung from opulent ceilings and marble floors that gleamed in the soft light. The furniture was extravagant, with velvet couches and plush rugs that exuded luxury and grandeur.
They were greeted by the friendly staff, who led them to a private dining room. The room was tastefully decorated, with richly embroidered wallpaper and fine china laid out on the table.
The meal was a spread of the most exquisite dishes, each one a symphony of flavor and texture. They ate and drank, feeling like royalty in this opulent setting. The conversation was light, filled with laughter and banter as they relaxed and unwinded after their arduous battle.
After dinner, they were led to their suites, each with a suite like bedroom and luxurious bath. The beds were king sized and comfortable, with silky sheets and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was equipped with a hot tub and a rain shower, and the entire suite was filled with the scent of fragrant oils.
Keshav and Jasmine entered same suites, feeling a wave of exhaustion wash over them. They quickly took showers, relishing the feeling of hot water and fragrant soap against their skin. Then, they collapsed onto the beds, in each others arms, surrounded by luxurious comfort and softness.
The beds were like clouds, enveloping them in a cocoon of comfort. They closed their eyes, feeling the tiredness take over, their bodies and minds finally relaxing after the intense battle. They knew that tomorrow would bring more challenges, but for now, they would let themselves succumb to the allure of sleep and rest.
They fell into a deep, dreamless slumber, their bodies and minds completely relaxed and at ease. The world outside seemed to fade away, and for a few hours, they were free from the burden of their responsibilities and duties.
The night passed, the sky outside slowly turning a shade of grey as the first light of dawn broke through the horizon. The sounds of birds chirping and the city coming to life began to fill the air, signaling that it was time to get up and face another day.
When Jasmine woke up, she saw Keshav was not beside her, but she didn't mind. Stretching her limbs and feeling the stiffness from the battle the previous day. She yawned, rubbing the sleep from her eyes and getting out of bed.
She padded over to the window, pushing aside the curtains and letting the light stream into the room. The city outside was just waking up, people starting to go about their daily routines. Jasmine took a deep breath, feeling a sense of peace and calm wash over her.
She made her way to the bathroom, turning on the hot water and letting it flow over her body. She stood under the stream of water, letting it soothe her sore muscles and wash away the events of the previous day.
After her shower, she wrapped a towel around herself and made her way back to the bedroom. She got dressed in clean clothes and sat down on the edge of the bed, running a comb through her tangled hair.
She thought about the events of the previous day, the thrill of the battle and the joy of victory. She smiled to herself, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. But at the same time, she felt a wave of exhaustion wash over her, her body and mind still tired from the intense battle.
Just then, there was a knock on the door and Claire's voice came from outside "Jasmine, lets have breakfast. Keshav is already waiting for us there."
"I'll be right there," she called out, finishing off her hair and getting up from the bed. She walked over to the door, opening it to find Claire standing outside, a smile on her face.
"Good morning," Claire said, her gaze traveling down Jasmine's form appreciatively before snapping back up. "Ready for breakfast?"
Jasmine nodded, a small smile playing on her lips as she noticed the way Claire had checked her out. "Yes, I'm starving," she said, stepping out of the room and closing the door behind her.
They made their way to the hotel restaurant, the scent of freshly brewed coffee and bacon filling the air. Keshav was already seated at a table, sipping coffee and looking through his tablet.
He looked up as they approached, his gaze meeting Jasmine's. His eyes lingered on her a beat too long before he gave her a small smile. "Morning," he said, his voice still gruff from sleep.
"Morning," she replied, sliding into the seat across from him. She had noticed the way his gaze lingered on her and she couldn't help but feel a shiver of excitement run down her spine.
Claire joined them, and they ordered their breakfast, falling into easy conversation. They discussed the events of the previous day, the battle with the boss monster and the thrill of victory.
Jasmine watched Keshav as he talked, feeling a mix of admiration and desire. His muscular form was accentuated by the tight shirt he wore, and she found herself unable to tear her gaze away from him.
While they were having breakfast a notification came to Claire's phone after reading which her mood turned heavy.
Jasmine noticed the sudden change in Claire's expression and felt a sense of unease settle in her gut. She exchanged a worried look with Keshav, wondering what could have caused this reaction in Claire.
"What's wrong?" Keshav asked Claire, his eyebrows furrowed in concern.
Claire sighed heavily and showed them her phone, the news headline on the screen reading "In country H a dungeon break occured in a city causing a boss monster of level 110 to come out. With just 1 attack it level 80% of city killing hundreds of thousands"
Jasmine and Keshav read the headline in shock and horror, their faces pale. The destruction caused by a boss monster was always immense, but this was on a whole new level.
Claire continued "It was lucky that city was issued evacuation orders many days ago or else casualties would be in millions"
Jasmine and Keshav nodded, feeling a sense of dread and helplessness wash over them. They had faced powerful boss monsters before, but none of them had caused this level of destruction.
Claire continued "Now that monster had maid the destroyed city his domain."
"Domain?" Keshav echoed, his mind racing. "That means anywhere within the bounds of that region is the monster's territory. It can spawn more monsters, set traps, and manipulate the very environment to its advantage."
Claire said "Yes. Its like dungeon had manifested in reality."
Jasmine's mind raced, trying to fathom the scale of destruction that this monster could cause if left unchecked. "So, what's the plan then? We can't just leave a monster of that level roaming free."
Claire shook her head "Don't know. Its not our country."
Claire said "Then what can you do. Its just first dungeon break of this level. There will be more in future. We are 7th largest country covering approximately 2.4% of the Earth's total land area. Your schedule if filled to prevent something similar happening in our country."
Jasmine and Keshav fell silent, knowing that what Claire was saying was true. They couldn't be everywhere at once and they had to prioritize the safety of their own country first.
But that didn't stop the feeling of helplessness and frustration from gnawing at them. They had the power to make a difference, to help those in need, but they were confined by their duty to their own country.
Then something came to Keshav's mind. Keshav leaned forward, a look of determination crossing his face. "Wait a minute. We may not be able to help directly, but there's something I'm thinking."
Both Jasmine and Claire looked at him curiously waiting for him to continue.
