Prologue

Glory is a word with a lot of weight and a thing everyone desires, but how does one accomplish such a thing? Is it through honorable feats, protecting the weak, or simply making a name for himself through strength alone? Then what is honor and how does one gain it? Through bravery alone? Through staying true to himself and to his moral values or is it just by making other people respect him? And lastly duty ... they must follow their lord's orders even if they are against personal principles. One order could slay hundreds or protect even more but even so, that is a knight's path full of glory, honor, and duty of course that is for the ones who can make it and enjoy the privileges that come with it.

If those are the main principles of a knight then what about faith? The foundation of the church? For an entity that could slay hundreds if a noble orders it faith is something normal knights neglect but not by templar knights who follow faith more than empty orders created by greed. But even so, faith is nothing in front of heresy ... if you have the path of a knight which is full of hardships confronted by your will only you also have the path of a templar knight guided by faith and the belief in god then you also have the path of heresy.

Heresy is a word described in many ways, this time is about demons who offer the short path to power, a cheating path where you lose yourself but gain a lot of power. But even so that power is useless when you have to carry the orders of Lamush the strongest demon. Demonic creatures that only view destruction as their objective considering such things as revenge for the shame they faced in the antic age making them unable to walk on the continent and forcing them to make contracts with humans to take their so called revenge but even so that age is a story for another time.

So there are three paths the knight path one of honor, glory, and duty the templar one where faith and belief in god is everything and heresy where you give up your humanity for strength... I wonder which path our hero will choose...
