Chapter 10 - First Shelter – The Beginning of Dwarka

First Shelter – The Beginning of Dwarka

The wind howled across the raw Australian plains, whipping dust and golden light across the shimmering dome of the newly anchored Agniveer. Beneath that alien sky, amidst untouched wilderness, the first heartbeat of a new civilization began to thrum.

This was not merely survival—it was resurrection.

Blueprints of a Dream

Deepak Rawat stood before a transparent display panel in the command tower, tracing plans that looked more like divine architecture than human engineering.

Each building was modular, self-sustaining, and AI-integrated. Every corner of the plan had purpose—recycling water, generating power, growing food, teaching minds.

"Every inch of Dwarka will be alive," he murmured. "Breathing, thinking, adapting."

Rakesh entered, eyes sharp as ever. "Just like our ancestors' cities—but this time, we won't let them fall."

Deepak smiled. "Not while we draw breath."

Rising from the Dust

At sunrise, the Builder Yoddhas began assembling the first layer of Dwarka—The Inner Ring.

Massive drones carried translucent, ultra-light building plates that expanded and locked like origami. Walls unfolded themselves. Floors grew from the earth like vines of light. Green roofs seeded themselves with embedded biospores, already sprouting within hours.

Children ran between construction zones, awestruck. Diksha watched in awe as a 40-foot tower bloomed out of nothing in under ten minutes.

"It's like watching magic," she whispered.

"No," said Neha, watching with pride. "It's science shaped by vision."

---

The Dwarka Code

But Deepak had a vision beyond architecture. He summoned the family for a sacred moment under the starlit dome.

"There must be laws," he said, voice echoing. "Not of punishment, but of harmony."

And so, they created The Dwarka Code:

1. Every life—human, animal, plant—is sacred.

2. No greed. No kings. Only purpose and contribution.

3. Science shall serve life, not enslave it.

4. Education is free, compulsory, and lifelong.

5. Nature is partner, not property.

Aditya raised a hand. "Will everyone follow these rules?"

Deepak kneeled beside him. "We will build a world where they'll want to."

The Night of the First Rain

As the first week drew to a close, something miraculous happened.

Clouds rolled in from the sea. Thunder cracked open the sky like ancient drums. And then—rain.

Not acid rain. Not poisoned droplets. But fresh, clean, soul-healing rain.

The family stood outside, laughing as it soaked their clothes. The Yoddhas raised their heads silently, letting water cleanse their metallic skin. Even Chirag's digital voice wavered. "Moisture levels… optimal. This moment… is beautiful."

Khushboo cried openly. "We've been given a second chance."

And under that rain, the people of Earth who once fled their dying world, stood reborn.

---

Children of the New Dawn

While adults planned, the children began shaping the soul of Dwarka.

They built wooden bridges across streams, painted murals on metallic walls, planted flowers and designed their own robots. Their laughter filled the air like birdsong.

Sanno watched as Kshitiza led a group of robot caretakers to decorate the outer ring with wildflowers.

"See, Ma," she beamed. "If Dwarka is our home, it should smile."

"Yes, beta," Sanno said softly, her heart full. "And may it never stop."

---

A World Hidden from the World

Before they slept that night, Deepak activated the Cloak Shield—a planetary-scale quantum camouflage that masked all signs of Dwarka from satellites, ships, or even psychic sensors.

To the outside world, Australia remained a wasteland.

But deep within the invisible boundaries, something divine was rising.

Dwarka.

A secret utopia.

A hope reborn in soil and steel.

And this was only the beginning.
