In the vast, silent expanse of space where stars flickered like distant memories, an old man stood alone his withered robes stained deep crimson, fluttering in the cosmic winds. He was encircled by a council of beings, each one exuding immense power, eyes filled with judgment, hate, and betrayal.
They loomed before him like gods ready to pass sentence. One stepped forward his aura blazing like a miniature sun. His voice was cold, every word cutting through the void like a blade.
"Blood Spirit Wizard," he began, contempt thick in his tone, "you threw our entire wizard civilization into a catastrophic war with the God Race for your own selfish gain."
The others nodded, their expressions grim.
"You were the root of the conflict between gods and wizards. You played both sides, plotted in shadows, and caused the deaths of countless prodigious wizards. All for your so-called pursuit of truth."
The Flame Lord raised his hand, flames igniting in his palm as he spoke his final words.
"You still dare to call yourself a wizard after that?"
With a flick of his wrist, a colossal fireball erupted in space its glow dwarfing nearby stars. It surged forward, roaring like a beast hungry for vengeance. The Blood Spirit Wizard did not flinch. When it struck, his body was engulfed in searing fire, and within seconds, he was reduced to ashes.
But death was fleeting.
In a flash of crimson light, his form reconstituted flesh weaving from blood mist, bones assembling like clockwork. Though reborn, his aura flickered, strained. The resurrection had cost him dearly.
A twisted grin curled his lips.
"We are wizards," he said, voice hoarse yet defiant, "seekers of truth. That is our purpose. My methods may be cruel but truth is not found in comfort. Truth demands sacrifice."
The Flame Lord staggered, taken aback by the sheer shamelessness of the reply. But before he could speak, another voice rang out cold and hollow like wind in a crypt.
"There is a limit, Blood Spirit," said the Bone True Spirit Wizard. His skeletal staff pulsed with eerie light. "Even those of us who walk the Black Path are not as heartless as you. The sins you've committed they go beyond cruelty."
But the Blood Spirit Wizard only laughed. A quiet, almost peaceful sound.
"From the beginning, until now I have sought only one thing: truth."
He raised his head, eyes gleaming like blood-stained rubies.
"Indeed truth is cursed. But if I had another chance, I would still chase it even if it meant damnation."
The space around him began to darken. Blood seeped from nowhere, filling the void, turning it into a sea of crimson. It was his Blood Law Domain, and its power stunned even the oldest of wizards.
Whispers echoed from the ranks of lesser mages watching from afar.
"How many has he slain to create such a monstrous domain?"
But Blood Spirit Wizard gave them no time to ponder. With a final roar, he unleashed his ultimate spell sacrificing his true origin in the process. The spell twisted space, light, and law itself.
The two True Spirit Wizards paled. Without hesitation, they abandoned the lesser wizards and fled through a rift in space, their voices filled with fear and fury.
"That lunatic, he was planning to take us down with him!"
"Let him die. He sacrificed his origin. He can't survive this."
But just as they thought the storm had passed, a new ripple pulsed through space.
The Flame Lord froze.
"Nothis isn't just Blood Law anymore"
His eyes widened in horror.
"This is the fluctuation of Time Law?"
Bone Wizard's voice trembled as realization dawned.
"Not Time Law, it's a Time Rune. That bastard he's trying to rewrite history!"
Before they could react, a blinding explosion tore through the cosmos millions of kilometers across. At its center, the very fabric of space and time shattered, folding in on itself.
Silence returned.
15,000 years earlier…
Within a lavish mansion nestled in ancient mountains, a fifteen-year-old boy bolted upright in bed. His breaths were rapid, eyes filled with disbelief. Then, slowly, a smile spread across his face wild, triumphant.
"I did it" he whispered, laughter rising in his throat.
"I succeeded!"
