Kawakami clapped her hands lightly, gaining the class's attention as she stepped behind the teacher's podium.

"Let's begin attendance," she announced, her tone crisp yet warm as she scanned the list on her clipboard.

She called out the first name.

"Miku Nakano."

A soft-spoken girl with medium-length reddish-brown hair tucked behind one ear looked up. A pair of sleek blue wireless headphones rested around her neck, their triangular logo catching the morning light. Her dark blue eyes met Kawakami's for a moment before she gave a subtle nod.

"Here."

She wore a cozy long-sleeved sweater over her uniform and black tights, giving off a reserved, quiet aura. Shun glanced at her, noting the way her bangs covered her right eye.

"Lilysa Amano."

A girl with shoulder-length pink hair adjusted her glasses with a refined touch. Her posture was straight, her uniform crisp, and she exuded a composed and studious air.

"Present." The girl answered with a smile.

"Shouko Komi."

A delicate girl with long, flowing black hair sat perfectly upright. Her large, glistening eyes spoke volumes despite her silence. She simply nodded in acknowledgment. Kawakami gave her a kind smile.

"As expressive as ever, Miss Komi. Thank you." Kawakami then continued.

"Yanagi Uzaki."

The silver-haired girl raised her hand lazily, a playful smirk tugging at her lips.

"Yup, I'm here, sensei."

Her silver bangs fell over one eye, and the way she slouched slightly in her chair gave her a mischievous air. Shun couldn't help but wonder what kind of trouble she was capable of stirring up.

"Marin Kitagawa."

"Yo~!" came the enthusiastic reply.

The blonde girl waved cheerfully, her long hair shimmering under the classroom lights. She'd styled her uniform just enough to push the dress code, but her confidence made her stand out more than her outfit ever could.

"Ako Tamaki."

A quiet voice answered, barely above a whisper.

"H-Here..."

Shun turned slightly to see a girl with long dark blue hair and eyes to match. She kept her head low, fiddling nervously with her pen as she avoided eye contact.

"Maria Mikhailovna Kujou."

Maria gave a graceful nod as she stood for a brief moment. Her light brown wavy hair framed her soft features, and her golden eyes gave off an aura of refined calm.

"Present, Kawakami-sensei."

"Sumire Yoshizawa."

The final girl stood confidently, her reddish-brown hair tied back neatly, her glasses perched perfectly on her nose.

"Here."

Her voice was clear and firm, and her posture resembled that of an athlete used to precision and discipline. Shun noted her poise with interest.

After a few more students were called, Kawakami looked over the class with a satisfied nod.

"Excellent. Everyone's present and on time. Let's proceed with today's lesson. Open your books to page twelve."

As the students moved to retrieve their materials, Shun leaned back slightly in his chair, his gaze drifting across his new classmates. Each of them stood out in their own way and Shun smirked thinking about ways of taking advantage of everyone.

He remembered in his past life about these characters from their respective anime. Though, he doesn't have a perfect memory of his past life because he didn't have it at that time and simply knows few of them. Though, he can't exactly speak about the things.

Soon, homeroom ended, and the students began preparing for their next class when the classroom door opened. A stunningly elegant woman in her late twenties stepped inside.

She had a slender, curvaceous figure and moved with the poise of a dancer. Her long, straight black hair reached her mid-back, with short bangs delicately framing her forehead. But what truly stood out were her upturned red eyes—gentle yet piercing.

She walked toward Shun with a soft, graceful smile and stopped at his desk.

"You must be the new transfer student. Good morning," she greeted warmly, bowing politely.

"I'm Yor Briar, your Health and P.E. teacher. It's a pleasure to have you with us."

Shun gave a respectful nod.

"Shun Satsujin. Nice to meet you, Sensei."

Yor smiled sweetly, though she awkwardly fumbled with her clipboard as she tried to update her attendance.

"A-Ah, sorry! I can be a little clumsy sometimes..." she said with a nervous laugh. "But I'll do my best to help you stay fit and healthy during your time here."

'She's from Spy x Family,' Shun thought, studying her movements.

'No Loid in sight though. And she's strong—her movements are disciplined beneath that soft exterior. Impressive.'

After a brief conversation, she bowed again and walked off, her heels clicking softly as she left.

The next teacher entered shortly after—her presence like a sharp blade. She was a young woman with long brown hair tied in a ponytail, with bangs swept to one side.

Her brown eyes were focused and serious. Wearing a black blazer over a crisp white blouse, a short skirt, black stockings, and black heels, she radiated professionalism.

She approached Shun without delay.

"Shun Satsujin, correct?" she asked, voice calm but firm.

"Yes, Sensei."

She gave a nod.

"I'm Sae Chabashira. I'll be your Social Studies teacher. I expect diligence and responsibility in my class. I don't tolerate sloppiness."

"Understood."

Sae gave him a long look, as if trying to assess him.

"Good. I hope you won't disappoint. Welcome to the class."

She turned away without another word, heading to her desk.

'She's strict, like I remember from Classroom of the Elite,' Shun noted.

'She won't let anyone coast through.'

Lastly, the door swung open and in came a tall woman with extremely long, somewhat disheveled black hair falling all the way to her calves. Her unkempt bangs veiled her deep purple eyes, and she wore a white lab coat lazily draped over her wrinkled shirt, loosened tie, and black pants.

She walked toward Shun and gave him a half-hearted wave.

"Yo. You're the new guy, right? Shun, was it?"

Shun nodded.

"Yeah. Shun Satsujin. And you are?"

"Hiratsuka. Shizuka Hiratsuka. I teach Modern Japanese. Don't worry, I don't bite," she said with a casual smirk.

"Unless you hand in a blank essay."

Shun gave a slight smile.

"I'll keep that in mind."

She tilted her head slightly, observing him.

"You remind me a bit of someone... Anyway, welcome to hell—I mean, high school. Try to survive."

With that, she shuffled over to her desk, yawning mid-step.

'Yup,' Shun mused.

'She's definitely like Kawakami... single, overworked, and in desperate need of a weekend getaway—or a boyfriend.'

The bell rang, signaling the start of lunch break.

Shun was just about to stand when he sensed someone approaching. He glanced up and found Masha standing in front of his desk, smiling warmly.

"Привет, Шун."

(Hello, Shun.)

"Привет, Маша. Чем могу помочь?"

(Hello, Masha. How can I help you?)

"Мы собираемся пообедать. Хочешь пойти с нами?"

(We're going to grab lunch. Want to come with us?)

Shun smiled warmly and nodded.

"С удовольствием. Спасибо, что пригласила."

(Gladly. Thanks for inviting me.)

Masha chuckled.

"Пожалуйста."

(You're welcome.)

She turned back and gestured for Komi Shouko and Miku Nakano, who were nearby. Komi gave a shy nod while Miku gave a small wave, pulling down her headphones.

Switching back to Japanese, Masha smiled.

"Let's go before the line gets too long."

The four of them headed to the canteen, now bustling with students. After queuing up, they each grabbed a tray. Shun, however, began piling on significantly more food than the others.

Masha blinked and giggled.

"Wow, Shun. Are you planning to feed the entire school?"

Komi shyly raised her notebook and wrote:

"That's… a lot."

She turned the page toward Shun, her wide eyes full of curiosity.

Miku leaned closer, trying not to sound too surprised.

"You seriously eat all that by yourself?"

Shun laughed lightly.

"Yeah, I've always had a big appetite. That's actually how I got into cooking—it started out of necessity."

Masha tilted her head, intrigued.

"You cook too? Now that's cool. You'll have to let us taste your food sometime."

Shun smiled at her.

"I'll make you a bento next time. You'll be my first critic."

Masha grinned.

"I'll be gentle with my review. Probably."

They found a spot near the windows and sat together, enjoying their lunch and the easy company.

Once they settled into their seats by the window, the atmosphere quickly grew light and friendly. The sunlight streamed in, casting a gentle glow on the table as the four of them began to eat and chat.

Masha leaned her cheek against her palm, glancing at Shun with a curious smile.

"So, Shun… do you like animals? Do you have a favorite?"

Shun took a bite of his katsu and chewed thoughtfully before replying with a small grin.

"Yeah, I like animals. But if I had to pick a favorite—it's definitely cats. Especially Persian cats. I mean have you seen the fluff!?"

Shun wanted a pet but he is always on a mission and can't take care of them. He wondered if Kawakami would allow a cat in her home.

At that, Komi's eyes sparkled. She raised her notebook and quickly scribbled something down, then turned it toward Shun.

"I love cats too."

She had drawn a tiny doodle of a curled-up cat beside the text.

Shun smiled warmly.

"Nice drawing, Komi-san. You've got good taste. Have you ever thought of getting a cat?"

Komi nodded slowly, then scribbled again.

"I want one someday. A fluffy one."

"You should. They're great company," Shun replied, his voice gentle.

Masha grinned, watching the exchange.

"Komi-chan doesn't open up to just anyone, you know. You must have a talent for this, Shun."

"Maybe I do," he replied, offering a playful smirk.

Noticing Miku quietly picking at her salad, Masha nudged her gently with her elbow.

"Come on, Miku. Tell him about your hobby. You know, the thing you're super passionate about?"

Miku stiffened.

"Masha… don't." she muttered, her cheeks already turning red.

But Masha leaned in with a teasing grin.

"She's a total Sengoku history nerd. She could probably list every major battle in chronological order and tell you who was wearing what."

"I-I just think it's interesting," Miku said quickly, clearly flustered.

Shun chuckled softly and leaned a bit closer, resting his chin on his hand.

"That's actually really cool, Miku-san. I love hearing people talk about what they're passionate about. It's the best way to get to know someone."

Miku blinked at him, surprised by the genuine interest in his voice.

"You… don't think it's weird?"

"Not at all. In fact…" he smiled, lowering his voice slightly.

"If you ever feel like sharing, I'd be honored to hear your take on the Sengoku period. Maybe we could watch a documentary together sometime?"

Miku's face went bright red, and she turned away slightly, biting her lip to hide a smile.

"M-maybe…"

Meanwhile, Komi glanced between the two of them and slowly wrote something down.

"Shun-san is smooth…"

She quickly covered it before anyone could see.

As they continued eating, Shun shifted his attention back to Masha.

"What about you, Masha? You've been asking all the questions. What do you like, aside from teasing your friends?"

Masha laughed, brushing her light brown hair behind her ear.

"I'm into a lot of things. Music, painting… and I like singing too. But it's not like I'm good at it or anything."

Shun tilted his head.

"Now Kawakami clapped her hands lightly, gaining the class's attention as she stepped behind the teacher's podium.

"Now you've got me curious. You'll have to let me hear you sing sometime."

"Maybe if you're lucky," she said with a wink, but her cheeks turned slightly pink.

"Now you've got me curious. You'll have to let me hear you sing sometime."

"Maybe if you're lucky," she said with a wink, but her cheeks turned slightly pink.

"Now you've got me curious. You'll have to let me hear you sing sometime."

"Maybe if you're lucky," she said with a wink, but her cheeks turned slightly pink.
