Chapter 9 - CHAPTER 8 : THE DEMON WHO WALKS WITHOUT HIS CHAINS

Scene: Skies above Elarion Fields

The young god, still hovering with a smirk, watched Kael's body float back up, cloaked in black mist.

But that was no longer Kael.

That was Azrion.

Eyes burning like violet stars, hair flowing with shadows, the wind screamed around him.

The young god chuckled.

> "So… the demon speaks. Is that all?"

He raised his hand, summoning another divine spear.

But Azrion… didn't move.

He just tilted his head.

> "You don't know fear," Azrion whispered, his voice like ice under fire.

> "Let me teach you."

In a blink—he vanished.

The arrogant god barely had time to flinch.

Azrion's hand was already around his neck.

> "You called me pathetic."

> "Let me show you… how a true demon kills."

CRACK!

Azrion slammed the god down into the ground.

The earth split. Trees incinerated.

Mountains in the distance cracked just from the impact.

The god coughed blood.

But Azrion wasn't done.

He grabbed the god's wings—those radiant divine wings—and ripped one off with bare hands.

> "Still feel holy?"

The god screamed.

Azrion didn't flinch.

He dragged him through the air, smashing him through boulders, burning him with shadow fire.

Then he raised the god by the throat… and whispered:

> "You should've killed me."

> "Now, you've killed your pantheon."

He plunged his fingers into the god's chest—pulling out the heart, crushing it into black dust.

The body fell… lifeless.

Somewhere far away…

The ancient god fell to his knees.

The vision in his mind was clear.

Azrion—still sealed. Still incomplete.

And yet… this was the destruction he caused.

He spoke aloud, voice trembling with fear and awe.

> "He's not awakened… yet he defies fate."

> "Each seal broken will be a new apocalypse."

> "The gods were fools… thinking time had tamed him."

> "You didn't kill a demon... you awakened a calamity."

He turned to the sky.

> "The Demon King… has remembered who he is."

Meanwhile...

Kael's soul floated inside the abyss.

He could see Azrion through his own eyes.

He whispered softly.

> "Is this… really me?"

Azrion's voice echoed in reply.

> "No. This is us."

> "And this world… will never forget your name again."
