Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Clear Sky Douluo!

Tang Hao was deeply astonished because, during his time at the Clear Sky Sect, he had come across this type of Martial Soul in an ancient text.

The Netherworld Begonia, also known as the Death Begonia, was a tale from ancient times.

It was said that a Netherworld Douluo, whose power was unparalleled, possessed this Martial Soul. When the Netherworld Begonia bloomed, it released poisonous fog that could spread for ten miles, causing all life within a hundred-mile radius to wither and perish.

This Netherworld Douluo had once poisoned an entire city with a single Soul Skill called "Netherworld Begonia Bloom."

This legendary event had been passed down through generations and documented in the Clear Sky Sect's ancient writings.

Tang Hao, who had always been intrigued by Martial Souls, remembered these details clearly.

The Netherworld Begonia resembled an ordinary black begonia flower.

Based on the Soul Power Qian Yu had demonstrated earlier, it was clear that the Martial Soul he awakened was exceptional, possibly even more powerful than their Clear Sky Hammer.

A Martial Soul that could surpass the Clear Sky Hammer and was also a black begonia flower led Tang Hao to one conclusion: the Netherworld Begonia! Could it be that the Netherworld Begonia Martial Soul was making a comeback?

Tang Hao's heart raced with shock.

"Dad... what's wrong?"

This was the first time Tang San had seen Tang Hao so taken aback.

"It's nothing, just lost in thought," Tang Hao replied, attempting to sound composed.

"By the way, who is this Qian Yu? I haven't heard of him before in Holy Soul Village."

Tang Hao typically ignored the outside world, so he was unaware of Qian Yu's presence in the village for months.

"Grandpa Jack brought him back from outside. I heard he's an orphan," Tang San quickly explained.

Tang Hao nodded and turned to Tang San.

"Alright, put your hammer away. Remember, you must never let anyone see your hammer in the future. You can only use it when your life is in grave danger!"

"Mm!" Tang San nodded in agreement.

"Also, in the future, always use the hammer in your left hand to protect the grass in your right hand. Always," Tang Hao added.

Tang San nodded, though he didn't fully grasp the meaning.

Tang Hao then stood up and returned to his room without looking back.

Qian Yu ventured into the forest beyond the village and discovered a hidden area.

He conjured a ball of fire in his left hand while ice crystals formed in his right.

The Martial Souls on his hands shifted continuously, transforming from a hurricane to a longsword.

Eventually, a Wheel of Reincarnation appeared above him.

After verifying that he could access all his Martial Souls, Qian Yu withdrew them.

He possessed innate level thirty Soul Power and ten Martial Souls:

Frost, Blazing Fire,

Hurricane,

Thunder,

Rare Earth,

Wings of Void,

God of War Spear,

Godslayer Sword,

Netherworld Begonia,

and

The Wheel of Reincarnation.

The first five were elemental, allowing him to wield the very forces of nature. These Martial Souls were significantly more powerful than those like the Fire Phoenix and Ice Phoenix, which could only utilize elemental Soul Skills without true control over the elements.

In contrast, Qian Yu could directly manipulate these elements, creating frost at will and freely using fire, hurricanes, thunder, and earth.

The Wings of Void was another formidable Martial Soul, granting Qian Yu the ability to fly and even disappear into the void.

The God of War Spear and Godslayer Sword were even more potent, being divine artifacts that surpassed even the Clear Sky Hammer and Seven Kill Sword.

Next was the Netherworld Begonia, which absorbed life and death energy. Offensively, it could kill silently, while defensively, it could protect others from harm.

Lastly, there was the Wheel of Reincarnation, which had only awakened in this life, and Qian Yu had yet to uncover its purpose.

However, he noticed that a significant amount of Soul Power was drawn into it during his cultivation.

Given its name, it likely had a connection to reincarnation, and Qian Yu understood the importance of fully developing this Martial Soul.

After completing his training, Qian Yu returned to the village and spotted a disheveled drunkard near the entrance.

The man, with a stubbly face and ragged clothes, reeked of alcohol. Qian Yu recognized him as Tang Hao, who had been living in seclusion in Holy Soul Village.

When their eyes met, Tang Hao calmly asked, "Are you Qian Yu?"

Qian Yu responded with equal calmness, "Yes, I am. Do you need something?"

Tang Hao then directly inquired, "Can you show me your Martial Soul?" without any further preamble.

Qian Yu gave a slight smile and remarked, "Since when do blacksmiths assess people's Martial Souls?"

Tang Hao, taken aback, looked at Qian Yu in surprise, not anticipating such sharp wit from someone so young.

Suddenly, Tang Hao burst into laughter, and then a formidable pressure emanated from him, quickly bearing down on Qian Yu.

Qian Yu was momentarily surprised, realizing that Tang Hao was likely testing him, especially since he had just revealed his Martial Soul, attracting attention.

While ordinary villagers might not sense anything, Tang Hao, as the Clear Sky Douluo, had immense Soul Power and would certainly notice.

However, Qian Yu was not intimidated by Tang Hao.

Despite having only level thirty Soul Power, his past nine lives had equipped him with valuable experience.

His system contained powerful Soul Guidance Devices and poisons capable of defeating Title Douluos.

Additionally, his Wings of Void could help him escape into the void. In the event of a real confrontation, even if he couldn't defeat Tang Hao, he was confident in his ability to flee safely.

Thus, it all hinged on whether Tang Hao meant to harm him or was merely testing him.

If Tang Hao harbored any intent to kill, Qian Yu would not let it slide.

As the intense pressure bore down on him, Qian Yu remained composed and released his own Soul Power to counteract the oppressive force.

Tang Hao was taken aback; he had expected his pressure to compel Qian Yu's Martial Soul to appear, but he was surprised to find it resisted.

"I didn't realize Holy Soul Village had someone like you," Qian Yu said calmly, meeting Tang Hao's gaze.

Noticing that his pressure was ineffective, Tang Hao withdrew it and coldly inquired, "Who are you, really?"
