Chapter 6 - REUNION WITH A VIXEN

"Ah… Li Yuxin?" Bai Ruxue said, her tone unusually flustered as she tightened her grip on my arm. "Didn't expect to see you here."

Yuxin froze for a second when she saw us together. Her eyes darted to Ruxue's hand holding my arm, then back to my face—stunned, confused, maybe even a little panicked.

We had broken up just a few days ago.

And now here I was… walking into a luxury showroom with another woman on my arm.

She forced a smile, though it didn't quite reach her eyes.

"I came with Young Master Kang. He's buying me a new car… a gift to celebrate our first anniversary."

She paused, then looked directly at Ruxue and added in a mocking tone,

"But what are you doing here with him? Don't tell me you think he can buy something from this place. He probably can't even afford a tyre."

My fists clenched.

One year?

She had been cheating on me for that long…

And now she had the nerve to stand here and act proud of it?

Before I could say anything, Bai Ruxue let out a sharp laugh.

"A tyre? Please." She rolled her eyes dramatically.

"You are clueless, Yuxin. And to think you dated him for two whole years. You knew nothing about him."

She tilted her head, smirking.

"And wow… shameless much? Standing here, bragging about your affair like it's something to be proud of?"

Yuxin's face twisted in irritation.

"So what? He was never worthy of me."

Just then, the so-called Young Master Kang strolled in. Blond hair dyed too bright, round face, a belly that pushed against his shirt—and a smug expression that made you want to punch it.

I couldn't help myself—I laughed out loud.

The guy snapped his head toward me.

"Hey! Who the hell do you think you are? Do you dare laugh in front of me? Do you even know who I am?!"

I met his eyes without flinching. My smile sharpened.

"Oh, I know who you are, Kang.

I'm just laughing at a little story I heard…

about a vixen who left a lion for a fat pig."

The entire showroom went silent for a moment. Kang's face turned red with embarrassment and rage, while Yuxin stood frozen, her pride cracking as the weight of her choices began to sink in.

"Chen Yu, you better watch your mouth!" Yuxin snapped, stepping forward, her voice full of arrogance. "He's my boyfriend now! What were you even saying just now? Trying to act cool in front of everyone? Hah! What a joke."

She folded her arms and sneered. "Let me guess—you're here to beg for my forgiveness? Maybe you brought Ruxue with you because she's my friend? Let me make it clear—you're not worthy of me, Chen. So just forget about me."

I chuckled and shook my head slowly, my eyes calm. "Actually, I'm here with Ruxue because I'm gifting her a car."

Ruxue blinked, clearly surprised, but she kept her cool, standing a little taller beside me.

Yuxin burst out laughing. "A car? Hah! You? Don't joke, Chen Yu. My boyfriend—Young Master Kang—just bought me a car worth 100 million won. Do you really think you can afford something like that? Stop embarrassing yourself."

I looked at her silently for a few seconds, then smiled sadly.

"I don't know about being poor, Yuxin," I said, my voice calm but cold. "But one thing I know for sure… the biggest mistake of my life was loving someone like you."

Her smile faltered.

"And now, seeing what kind of person you truly are... I'm glad I never told you everything about myself. Because even if you begged me now—I wouldn't even spit in your direction."

"You—!" she stepped forward, flustered, but I ignored her.

I turned to the manager nearby. "Can you show us the premium models? I want to choose two."

The manager, a well-dressed man in his forties, gave a respectful nod. "Of course, sir. Please follow me."

We walked toward a special section of the showroom, where two luxury cars stood under soft white lights. One was sleek and elegant—a limited edition worth 200 million. The other was a beast—bold, powerful, and shining like it ruled the roads. Price tag: 300 million.

"Ruxue," I turned to her with a small smile. "Pick one. The one you like most is yours."

Her eyes widened for a split second before she composed herself again. "This one," she said softly, placing her hand on the elegant car.

"Good choice," I nodded.

Then I looked at the manager. "Register this 200 million won car in Bai Ruxue's name."

The manager nodded.

"And I'll take this one," I added, pointing to the 300 million won model. "Put it under my name. We'll drive the first car today. The second one, deliver it—I'll send the address in two hours."

Then I paused and turned to the manager again.

"Also, make sure the sales record for today is listed under Li Meiyun. She's the one who assisted me."

Meiyun, who had been quietly watching everything, looked up, stunned. Her lips parted, and her eyes shimmered.

"Chen Yu… I…"

I gave her a small smile. "You were always kind to me, even back when no one else was. Just consider this a small thank you."

A moment later, a soft chime rang from my phone.

"500 million won has been successfully transferred."

The entire showroom went silent.

The young master Kang's jaw dropped. His smug face turned pale. He looked me up and down, clearly reevaluating everything.

Yuxin stood frozen in place, her eyes wide in disbelief.

"W-What…?" she stuttered.

I looked at her one last time, a calm smile on my face.

"I hope you and your piggy prince live happily ever after. Just don't regret anything later."

Then I turned to Kang.

"I've got no personal problem with you, Young Master Kang. But if you know what's good for you, you won't bother me again."

With that, I took Ruxue's hand. She was smiling now—smug, satisfied, and holding my arm tightly.

As we walked past Yuxin, Ruxue looked back at her with a cheeky grin and waved.

"Bye, Yuxin~ Hope you enjoy your little 100 million gift," she said sweetly, then leaned close and whispered, "Mine's just a little better."

Yuxin could only stand there, stunned and speechless, as we walked out—leaving behind the wreckage of her pride.
