Chapter 38 - STRATEGIC ASSEMBLY

Our heroes were still diligently honing their skills within the confines of the admin training room. A week, at the very least, had passed since they'd immersed themselves in this dedicated space, each moment spent refining their newfound admin capabilities. Suddenly, the door to the training room swung open, revealing Crowar. He still sported his sleek black suit, a subtle hint of blue woven into its fabric. His expression was grave as he addressed them.

"Guys," Crowar's voice carried a weight of importance, "the Supreme Admin has issued a global summons for all admins across the VR WORLD. In mere minutes, there will be an assembly that requires the attendance of every single one of us. Prepare yourselves swiftly and proceed immediately to the central hall of this castle."

With that serious pronouncement, Crowar turned on his heel and strode back towards the corridor. A flurry of movement followed as our heroes made their way to the locker room area of the training facility. Within their clothing slots, new garments had materialized. They quickly donned these fresh attires. Shimmon selected a short-sleeved white jacket, deliberately chosen to showcase the sculpted definition of his muscular arms. He left the jacket open, a testament to his physique, and paired it with long black trousers. Saland presented a picture of refined elegance in a crisp white dress shirt fastened with golden buttons, complemented by a matching white dress jacket and long white pants. Haytham opted for a more formidable look, a black jacket with striking red accents matched with long black trousers. Christy, in contrast, radiated grace in an elegant violet gown.

United in their new official garbs, our heroes made their way towards the main chamber of the admin base. It was an immense conference hall, its vastness filled with rows upon rows of pristine white chairs. At the forefront stood a modest stage, upon which rested a wooden lectern adorned with three black microphones. The entire space buzzed with the presence of admins from every echelon – the newly initiated, the seasoned veterans, and the powerful elites.

As our heroes stepped into the main hall, their attention was immediately drawn to a standing admin who offered them a welcoming wave. He was a distinctive figure, bald-headed with a prominent handlebar mustache, and impeccably dressed in a light blue tuxedo jacket, a white shirt, and trousers matching the jacket's hue. His gaze settled upon Saland and Haytham as he spoke, his voice carrying a hint of warmth. "My dear children, how I have missed you both. It feels like an eternity since our last meeting."

Christy, curious, inquired, "Do you know this man?"

Recognition dawned on Saland's face. "His name is Rabajen. Perhaps you don't recall, but he fought against Bruhsuperdoom before our arrival."

Rabajen chuckled, a deep, resonant sound. "Ho ho ho, indeed, much time has passed since then. But thanks to my encounter with Bruhsuperdoom, I ascended to become a low-level admin. Now, I possess greater strength!" With a flourish, Rabajen flexed his arm, revealing a surprising bicep beneath his formal wear.

Shimmon, ever the observer, commented, "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. You possess an… interesting beauty."

"Thank you!" Rabajen beamed. "But I am not the only familiar face present." He gestured towards a row of chairs situated a little further away from their current position. Seated there were Sting, Ken, and Rick. "They too have become admins and have undergone significant training. All three are now mid-level admins. However," Rabajen's gaze returned to our heroes, a hint of surprise in his eyes, "I am astonished that you have already reached the high level. I heard whispers that you eliminated a formidable threat."

"Yes," Haytham confirmed, "we vanquished a demon-level glitch."

Disbelief etched itself onto Rabajen's features. "My boys," he exclaimed, "you have grown immensely stronger since our paths first crossed. As your initial mentor, I am filled with immense pride for both you, Saland, and you, Haytham."

A shared smile passed between Haytham and Saland. Then, the five of them settled into nearby seats, their anticipation building for the impending event.

Moments later, a figure graced the stage before the assembled admins. It was Sylene, radiant in her elegant azure gown. She positioned herself before the lectern, her voice resonating through the microphones as she began to speak.

"I am Sylene," she announced, "the former admin overseeing the scientific division. I stand before you today to elucidate the mission for which the Supreme Admin has summoned each and every one of you. This will be the most extensive undertaking in the history of the VR WORLD. However, before I delve into the specifics, Andrew, the Supreme Admin, wishes to address you all."

As she finished speaking, the Supreme Admin himself ascended the stage. He was a commanding presence in an ornate white military uniform, adorned with numerous medals and insignia of rank. Sylene gracefully stepped aside, allowing the Supreme Admin to take his place before the microphones. He cleared his throat, the sound echoing through the silent hall, and then spoke in a powerful, resonant voice.

"Admins," his words carried the weight of the impending conflict, "this will not be a mere mission. This… is war! Many among us will likely fall on the battlefield, but we shall be remembered as heroes who fought for the eradication of glitches! Therefore, fight with all your might! Good luck!"

A wave of fervent energy swept through the hall as every admin rose to their feet, their applause echoing the Supreme Admin's powerful declaration. He offered a respectful bow before stepping away from the lectern. Sylene returned to her position, her gaze sweeping over the assembled ranks.

"Now that the Supreme Admin has offered his blessing for the imminent war," she continued, her voice firm and clear, "I will outline the crucial objectives and strategies that the Supreme Admin, Anty, and I have formulated for this conflict."

Sylene turned, and behind her, a massive white screen materialized, illuminating to display a graph with three colored curved lines extending towards the right. The first line, a vibrant red, began at the left edge of the screen, with the letter "C" marked midway along its path. In the center of the screen, a green curved line was visible, bearing the letter "B" at its midpoint. Finally, at the far right, an azure curved line displayed the letter "A". A collective murmur of confusion rippled through the assembled admins as they tried to decipher the visual aid.

At that moment, Anty joined Sylene on the stage. Her elegant multicolored dress accentuated her striking white hair and petite frame. Without hesitation, Anty addressed the crowd.

"This graph represents the battlefield where we will confront the glitches in this ultimate war," she explained. "The battlefield will be divided into three distinct sectors. Sector 'A', located at the forefront, will be the primary zone of engagement, facing predominantly high-level glitches. Only high-level admins will be deployed there, and our primary objective will be to eliminate the majority of the glitches within this sector. Sector 'B' will be occupied by mid-level admins, tasked with combating any mid- or low-level glitches that manage to breach sector 'A'. Finally, sector 'C' will be primarily manned by low-level admins. Zone 'C' will serve as a vast field hospital, and your primary duty, low-level admins, will be to safeguard the wounded."

As Anty concluded her explanation, an admin in the front row rose from his seat. He was clad in an elegant suit and matching black dress pants adorned with white embroidery. A black eyepatch covered his right eye, and his black hair featured a prominent lock swept downwards to the right. A long sword with an inwardly curved blade rested against his back. He requested permission to speak, and Sylene nodded her assent.

"My name is Grimborg," the admin announced, his voice steady, "and I am a high-level admin. I have a few questions. Firstly, what is the ultimate objective of this war? Secondly, where will this war take place? And most importantly, which are the most formidable glitches we will be facing?"

Sylene acknowledged his inquiries. "You have raised crucial points that will be beneficial to everyone. As you are aware, beneath the VR WORLD lies a region we call the realm of glitches. During our confrontation with Goros, the primordial glitch, we only explored the outermost layer of their domain. However, we discovered that in the deeper recesses, there exists a completely desolate area, which we believe to be the origin of all glitches – the system bug. Our ultimate objective is to eradicate all glitches and destroy this system bug. To achieve this, the Supreme Admin will provide each of us with an anti-gravity bracelet, enabling us to levitate and avoid falling into the system's abyss, which eliminates any foreign entity. Finally, to answer your last question, we have identified three singularities that possess power far exceeding that of other glitches, and we must destroy them before the Supreme Admin can deploy his secret weapon to obliterate the system bug."

Anty stepped forward again, her voice ringing with determination. "The attack will commence tomorrow itself. Prepare yourselves for tomorrow and adhere strictly to the orders that have just been given. The strategic assembly is now concluded!"

A collective movement rippled through the hall as the admins began to disperse. Our heroes exchanged farewells with Rabajen and then made their way back towards the familiar confines of the training room.
