Chapter 3 - The Third Night

7:00 PM.They didn't speak anymore.

No prayers. No jokes. No "it's just a game" nonsense.

Six chairs.Two empty.

Reina.Alya.Gone.

The third candle was lit by Kevin. His fingers were bleeding—scratched raw from clutching the old wooden chair like it could save him.

No one noticed at first. But the flame this time was... blue. Cold. Like it was freezing the air around it.

"Something's wrong," Dimas whispered. "This candle's different."

"It's her," Maria said. "She's still here. I felt her."

The room didn't argue.

The clock ticked.One second. Two.

Then the scratching came again. Not from the hallway.

From under the floorboards.

Everyone stood up instinctively—except Kevin.

He was frozen.

Whispers filled the room, dozens of voices, but all saying the same thing:

"Break the circle, and you break the seal."

Kevin blinked. Something was wrong with his eyes. They were… fogging up. Like his soul was turning into mist.

Then blood poured from his mouth. No wound. No scream.

He just fell backward.Still breathing. But not there anymore.

The third chair was empty now.
