"WHAT!!!" Jamie shouted out loud because of what he heard a minute ago.
"Is it really that surprising" Camilla was a little shocked at Jamie's response.
"Well we never really had the chance to tell him at all." Elena sighed.
'I don't give damn about a royal family, But them being sisters? What the hell !!!.' Jamie's thoughts continued.
'If they're sisters then mother and father are cousins , But they're married?. Isn't this considered incest then?'
'Are they not in their right minds ?'
'No.... It's just my viewpoint, In this world some things are not considered wrong' He thought.
Marriage within their own families are not prohibited in this world. In the royal family and even among some noble families this is not considered a strange thing. It's for the reason of keeping the bloodline pure.
But there are still some things that are kept similar to how things were on earth. Just because marriage among own family members are not a strange thing that doesn't mean there's marriage between brothers and sisters. Those kind of relationships are also considered as shameful acts just like on earth.
'I still have a lot to learn about in this world, And i'm also not using the system more usefully too' Jamie thought.
"I thought it was really hard to become Grandmaster Mages or Expert Mages, Was it not? " Jamie asked his thoughts running off to another direction.
"It is Jamie. It's not that easy. But don't put the Royal family on the same level as every other family. The reason Royal family is respected all around the continent is because of the hidden experts they have. No one knows how many hidden trump cards they might have" Gerald said to him.
Jamie nodded his head at his words.
"Do you two have the same mother ?" Jamie asked from Elena and Camilla.
"We do, that's why i told you that we're sisters. The ruler who rules this continent that belongs to humans is our grandfather who is also your great great grandfather." Camilla said to him smiling.
"Whoa!!, i thought you'd have some great position in the royal family But this... i didn't expect this." Jamie said taking in a another surprise Which his grandparents loved seeing.
"How strong is he?" Jamie suddenly asked wanting to know about the strongest person on the continent.
"Whatever the people might be thinking about him is wrong. He's a lot stronger." It was Gerald who spoke this time surprisingly with a respectful expression on his face.
"Then has he become a Ancestor Realm Mage ?" Jamie asked quickly.
"He became a Ancestor Realm Mage a long time ago Jamie. We were barely young back then, Just started out on the cultivation path." It was Alaric who spoke reminiscing.
Jamie was confused "But i thought he was only at the Emperor Realm."
"No" Elena shook her head and continued.
"He was only an emperor when the last war was still going on, But When he broke through to the Ancestor Realm He put and end to the war. He was the first to breakthrough but others rulers are also powerful breaking through to the Ancestor Realm right after him."
'Then all the things i found out about was fake? no !! , it might be that information was restricted or fake ones were spread around to fool people. Which means other continent rulers have done the same considering i thought every ruler were at the Emperor realm. But why did they do that?' Jamie thought for a while.
"Why did they hid it?" he questioned directly.
Elena was a bit surprised that Jamie figured it out that quickly.
"I can't tell you because even us only knows limited things about what happened back then but i can tell you one thing if you promise not to tell about this for another soul." She glanced at the people in the room before turning towards Jamie, Which means everyone present know about it.
"I won't" Jamie thought for a moment before nodding. His curiosity has reached the peak that he couldn't hold it back anymore.
"The last war between the races happened because the current rulers were not the ones who was in charge of ruling over the continent. There were Rumours that all of those powerful people who ruled over the world disappeared one day never to be seen again. "
"Every continent was preparing for war believing only their leader has disappeared and if that news gets out they'll be targeted. The war happened after finding out every continent was ready for war which in turn made all the others know about the disappearance of every leader who ruled over them."
"Back then our grandfather was selected to represent the continent because he was the most promising one among the ones to be selected. That's all we know, now don't say anything about this to anyone else Jamie. If anything about this gets out we'll know it's you because this secret has been protected among the people for so long without any mistakes so don't break your promise." Elena finished up with a serious look on her face.
The atmosphere around everyone in the room turned serious which made Jamie nervous.
"I promise to tell no one about this grandmother" He nodded with the same serious look on his face.
"Good" Elena said smiling.
"Also, we're not that close to our grandfather. We never got to meet him very much, After our parents died we didn't see him at all for hundreds of years" camilla said.
"It's almost a thousand years, last time we saw him was to get his permission for our marriage" Gerald said after a while.
"How did your parents die?" Jamie spoke bringing a silence to the room.
Alaric wanted to say something but was silenced by Elena. She turned toward Jamie,
"Alright you go now, Cultivate hard and breakthrough your grandparents will find you suitable skills for all your elements, You'll have to work hard to show the world that you're worthy of having four elements."
Alaric also added "Because the moment you show your weakness, The people around you will use that chance to throw all sorts of insults and spread worse rumours about you because that's what jealous people, people who feel threatened from your existence will do."
"Understood. Thank you grandmothers, grandfathers" Jamie bowed his head expressing his thanks. It's a custom to bow to your elders even back on earth, Here it's also not different.
Jamie turned around walking toward his room determined to become the strongest, Already imagining it in his head and also to use all the points he has right now to make use of the system to the fullest.
If he runs out of points he has to make sure he earns even more than before which he would sure love doing.
His Grandparents were staring at his walking figure looking forward to see how much their grandson would surprise them and this continent in the future.
"His will is strong" Alaric said.
"But he still need to mature more" Gerald added.
"Yes. He will be facing the outside world that's filled with wolfs and hyenas who would do anything for their sake" Elena said.
"We're no different Elena we'll also do anything for the sake of our families." Camilla spoke looking at Elena.
"At least we're not that shameless as other ones out there." Elena talked back at her sister.
"No point in arguing with you" Camilla sighed looking away which made Elena smile.
"You'll have to watch his back from the shadows Rufus. If things get out of his control help him. But be a little strict, You can't just take care of everything for him. He needs to grow on his own. You've already protected him enough it's his journey now." Gerald said looking toward Rufus.
"I will father, Cade grew up nicely don't you think. Except for all of yours bullying" Rufus spoke smiling, his eyes closed.
"Hahaha, That's how he shows his love Rufus you know that already" Camilla said laughing.
"Hmph" Gerald snorted and looked away.
"Alright let's go. There's so much i need to hear from Amanda since we missed out so much while we were away." Elena said.
"You ladies and your gossips haa" Alaric shook his head sighing before going away with Gerald and Rufus.
"Say that again i dare you " Elena looked toward him to glare at him but he's already ran away.
